About: I have been pet sitting for a few years, started out helping my brother with his Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and then moving on to caring for my now 7 year old Rhodesian Ridgeless Ridgeback. Since 2019, I have been helping out a neighbor who runs a doggie day care business out of their home. Helping her with daily day needs, and photo shoots. Besides my love of books, dogs are my second obsession. I have a deep love and understanding of them. When I'm not helping out my neighbor, you can find me either in my backyard playing with my pup and our next door neighbor labrador retriever. Or in a textbook while I study to finish up my Masters degree. Or quite possibly ill have my nose stuck in a book somewhere. Since I only work a few hours per week for my neighbor who runs a doggie daycare business, I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I have a fenced in yard for my own dog and yours. I can crate your dog if necessary, play in the backyard, take them to the park, etc.

About: I’ve taken care of many different furry friends since I was 14. As soon as I moved in with my roommates I was more open to taking care different types of pets. I do have a morning job. I am available after 3:30pm. Just give me a heads up if you’re interested so I can work around my schedule. I am looking to further my knowledge on taking care of many different loving animals. I’m excited to meet new furry friends and reptiles! I will always stay on top of your pets schedule, weather it’s walking them on a specific time or feeding them. I always pay attention to certain requirements your pet needs.

We both share a love for cats although she also loves dogs. We have spent many days visiting the cat shelter in Fairfax where she is so compassionate for cats of all ages, gravitating to giving the more feeble cats lots of love. Tammy would care for other peoples pets as she does for her own. She is responsible, caring, compassionate and definitely a pet person! Highly recommended!”

“Gilly has been pet sitting for me since 2014. She is amazing with my puppy, Milo. She is super sweet and caring towards Milo. She treats him like he's her very own. Anytime she has come to sit for us, we know we are leaving our fur baby in trusting hands! Milo is not the typical dog everyone could care for, he's a 110 lbs Rhodesian Ridgeback, so he needs someone that can be able to walk and keep up with such a big/strong dog, and Gilly, having the experience working and playing with big dogs, caring for him is easy for her. She's the only one I trust to care for our fur baby.”

Fort Sheridan dog parents share their Rover experiences
Laurie has a genuine love for dogs which she reflects in the way she cares for our pup Leo, showing the same level of attention as if Leo was her own. Laurie understands dog's needs well and focuses on quality time - both physical and mental stimulation, always actively engaged and present in the moment which reflects in the way my pup goes absolutely bananas when she sees Laurie. We are very happy with Laurie's service and would recommend others her way, as the level of care and attention is a rare find in the dog walker market.
