About: I grew up with dogs, but didn't get my own until about 6 years ago. Since then, life has revolved around our pup! I love to walk and will tend to any needs your dog may have. My own pup has a digestive disease, so I am comfortable with giving meds and following strict dietary plans. I know how hard it can be to leave your pup and how important it is to have reliable, loving care! I am very flexible with my time! I am usually available between 8 am and 9 pm. Please let me know your pet’s usual routine, and I will work around your schedule. I would appreciate knowing all about your pet’s habits, likes and dislikes so I can provide the most consistent care possible. About: I'm an experienced caretaker, especially with large dogs and fish! I also have much experience with rodents and other small animals. Above all, I love critters, and I'm always happy to build on my experiences or learn a new caretaking skill. I'm a college student home for the summer, with access to a bike-and sometimes a car-so I can get anywhere at any time. It's important to me that pets receive quality care, so no matter what, they'll always be my priority. I don't board, but in clients' homes I make sure to follow guidelines given to me! About: Hi! I am a Senior at Lake Forest College studying Psychology on a pre-nursing track. I grew up in Boise, Idaho surrounded by animals, both my own and others’. I have a passion for the outdoors, including skiing, hiking, camping, and more! About: I have had dogs all my life. I enjoy helping walk, groom and play with them so they can relax and nap by the fireplace. I have trained puppies and also have had senior dogs too as well as meds admin also. I work from home so dogs are vital to me and they make me feel so happy. About: Hi! I'm Livia, and animals have been my whole world for as long as I can remember. Over the years my husband and I have had our own four dogs, two bunnies, and two ducks (yes, really!), so "a little bit of everything" is genuinely our specialty. We don't have any pets of our own right now, which is actually one of the best things about your furry friend staying with us. Your pet gets the run of the house with no resident animals to negotiate with, which is a huge relief for shy, anxious, or reactive dogs/cats who just need room to decompress. And there's a LOT of room. Our entire downstairs is 2,000 square feet and completely open to our guests, with dog beds tucked into every room so they can pick their favorite spot. Outside is a full fenced-in acre yard: space to run, sniff, and roll around in the grass without ever needing a trip to the park. Best of all, at least one of us is home all day, every day. Your pet is never left alone and never crated (unless you'd prefer them to be crated). We're happy handling puppies still learning the rules, seniors who need a gentler pace, medications on a schedule, and nervous pets who need someone patient. And if anything ever were to come up, we're literally a two-minute drive from three different emergency vet clinics. We're looking forward to welcoming your pet! My husband and I both work from home, which is the whole reason we're able to do this so well. There's no window where the house is empty - someone is always here, in the same room (usually being used as a pillow by one of our guests!). That means your pet's routine gets to stay your pet's routine. Whatever their feeding schedule is, we'll keep it. Meds at 7am and 7pm? Done. A dog who needs a mid-afternoon nap in a quiet room, or one who wants to be outside every hour on the hour? Also fine. We're not working around a commute, so we can build the day around them instead of the other way around. You'll get a few photos and updates a day, so you can see exactly how they're settling in. And we always do a meet-and-greet before booking, so everyone (including your pet) knows who they're staying with before the first night. Our yard is a full fenced acre behind a 6-foot privacy fence, so there's serious room to run with no gaps to squeeze through. Inside, our whole downstairs (about 2,000 square feet) is open to our guests, with dog beds in every room so they can pick their preferred spot. Cats stay upstairs in their own quiet, private bedrooms with the doors closed, completely separate from any dogs. We don't have pets of our own, so nobody's defending their territory when your pet walks in. Every booking starts with a meet-and-greet, and if we're hosting more than one family at a time, new dogs meet slowly and on leash in the yard before they're ever loose together. If any pair isn't a match, they get separated. Someone is home 24/7, so your pet is never left alone. We're comfortable with medications, senior pets who need a gentler pace, and nervous ones who need time. And we're literally a two-minute drive from three emergency vet clinics if anything ever were to come up.
About: I owned a cat for 16 years and most recently a dog for almost 16! Not ready for another of my own just yet, but missing the cuddles and walks! As a teacher I am back to work this week so will only be available on the weekends for the time being. Will update my availability as holidays and school breaks approach. About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. Whether it's walking dogs, checking in on cats, staying overnight, or helping out with last-minute requests, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Several people encouraged me to join Rover because of how often I already care for their furry family members. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to earn their trust while providing patient, dependable care.
About: I'm an experienced caretaker, especially with large dogs and fish! I also have much experience with rodents and other small animals. Above all, I love critters, and I'm always happy to build on my experiences or learn a new caretaking skill. I'm a college student home for the summer, with access to a bike-and sometimes a car-so I can get anywhere at any time. It's important to me that pets receive quality care, so no matter what, they'll always be my priority. I don't board, but in clients' homes I make sure to follow guidelines given to me! I love to walk dogs, and will take them for a stroll as many times as needed, but I'm also happy to stay in-home and play with a pet there. Whatever makes them the happiest!
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been something very natural and meaningful to me. About: I grew up with dogs, but didn't get my own until about 6 years ago. Since then, life has revolved around our pup! I love to walk and will tend to any needs your dog may have. My own pup has a digestive disease, so I am comfortable with giving meds and following strict dietary plans. I know how hard it can be to leave your pup and how important it is to have reliable, loving care! I am very flexible with my time! I am usually available between 8 am and 9 pm. Please let me know your pet’s usual routine, and I will work around your schedule. I would appreciate knowing all about your pet’s habits, likes and dislikes so I can provide the most consistent care possible. Please document instructions for feeding, exercise, potty habits, and any other needs your pet may have.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats for 35 years. I currently have a German Shepherd and a domestic short hair cat. I volunteer at the humane society socializing cats. I am retired and have time and love enough to care for your small dog or cat. We travel a bit but am available when in town. I’m available for drop in visits or overnights. About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. From puppies/kittens to seniors and in between. And all sizes! I also have experience with special needs dogs, including my own collie who had lower jaw removal surgery. I’ve had 2 cats in this time from when they were young to seniors. I recently adopted 2 young cats who love people. For dogs, I’ve adopted dogs of all different ages with various health needs. I only occasionally go into the office and work from home Mon - Fri. I’m used to having multiple animals so I’m comfortable with whatever their schedule may need. I want to follow the routine you have created and anything else to make sure they feel comfortable in my home or yours. They will get lots of love and attention from me during our time together!
