About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always felt very natural to me. My last dog was with me for 14 years, and I got to experience every stage of her life with her. I went from playing with her as a little kid to taking her on walks and eventually helping care for her as she got older. My current dog has been with me for four years and was rescued from a breeding farm. When we first brought her home, she was extremely nervous and wouldn’t even leave our mudroom. Given that she lives at home with my mother while I’m at school, I miss her like I’d miss a sibling or parent and we both always get unbelievably excited to see eachother when I am home for breaks. About: I've been caring for dogs since I was young, starting with my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog. Today, I'm the go-to sitter my sister relies on to care for her little fluffball, whether it's for an evening away or extended vacations. About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. From puppies/kittens to seniors and in between. And all sizes! I also have experience with special needs dogs, including my own collie who had lower jaw removal surgery. I’ve had 2 cats in this time from when they were young to seniors. About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was in elementary school. I’ve been responsible for things like feeding them, walking them, and taking them out at night and in the morning Right now, my only commitments are on Sunday mornings, when I teach religious school in Deerfield. I’m looking for my next full time job currently, and heard about Rover through word of mouth. I’ll take your dog out first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. About: I grew up with dogs, but didn't get my own until about 6 years ago. Since then, life has revolved around our pup! I love to walk and will tend to any needs your dog may have. My own pup has a digestive disease, so I am comfortable with giving meds and following strict dietary plans. I know how hard it can be to leave your pup and how important it is to have reliable, loving care! I am very flexible with my time! I am usually available between 8 am and 9 pm. Please let me know your pet’s usual routine, and I will work around your schedule. I would appreciate knowing all about your pet’s habits, likes and dislikes so I can provide the most consistent care possible. Please document instructions for feeding, exercise, potty habits, and any other needs your pet may have.
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been something very natural and meaningful to me. I am retired and have time and love enough to care for your small dog or cat. We travel a bit but am available when in town. I’m available for drop in visits or overnights. “Thao has kept my Golden Retriever, Sully, for two different stays when I have needed to board him when my husband and I travel. Once was for a 4 day stint and the other time was for a short weekend. She is very communicable via cell phone and responds to messages very quickly and responsibly. She has sent me updates of Sully with photos and videos and been very nice. It's been really great to be able to leave home and feel confident and trust that my dog is in good hands. She has even come to my home to pick him up before when I haven't had time to drop him off, and she's been very flexible and easy to work with. If you need to leave your pet with someone when you are vacationing, I would HIGHLY recommend her! I have been very pleased with both of my experiences with Thao and Sully always seems excited to see her, which says a lot. Thank you for taking such great care of my fur baby, Thao!!”

“This was the first time my 10yo dog, Finley, did not have someone stay with him in his own home. Kyle had been recommended to me by a friend’s daughter. We did a meet and greet prior to my leaving, and tho it went well, I was quite anxious about leaving Finn. Fortunately, all my fears were unfounded; each day I received a photo and/or a brief update. Finn was completely fine and quite nonchalant about my return. Kyle gave him his meds, more walks than I do, and I don’t think he was alone once! I feel great about having a resource in Kyle and his family for future trips!”
