“Some background: My Italian Greyhound London is 2 years old and 9 months and a bit of a misfit. A broken paw at 5 months and a divorce a few months later are part of the story but I'm the real problem when it comes to some of her behavior issues. All of that to say that I know my dog and know that it would take a special person with experience to understand her and look after her for almost 10 days while I visited my mum over the holiday. Then I found Jennifer. I had left London with other sitters for a few days in the past and always felt uncomfortable and anxious about it. Before we even arranged our meet and greet, Jennifer was asking all the questions you'd expect from someone who genuinely wants to get to know and care for London. I brought London over for the planned meet and greet and London, normally skiddish and anxious in new spaces, was right at home. During the actual stay, Jennifer went out of her way to make sure London was comfortable and tried to ease her separation anxiety as much as possible by making London a part of her family. It wasn't just the regular updates and photos but the level of care and attention I know London was getting based on our exchanges that put me at ease. I have separation anxiety too and I felt so much better with every update I'd get. Jennifer even got her a little christmas gift and when I picked up London she was freshly bathed and happy!!! The entire experience was more than positive. I don't know how else to make another parent feel more comfortable other than by saying that London is my life and I would recommend Jennifer to you 110% without reservation.”
