Grooming: I brush fur, clean ears, and trim nails as needed to maintain hygiene and a healthy coat. Health Monitoring: I watch for changes in appetite, behavior, or physical condition and report any concerns to the owner or recommend a vet if necessary. Safe & Comfortable Environment I create a secure, hazard-free space with designated resting areas, pet gates, and soft bedding. I keep the living area clean, regularly cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, and maintaining tidiness. For client homes, I check for safety hazards, secure gates, and ensure all pet access points are safe. About: I have been around dogs my entire life. There isn't a time I can remember not having dogs around my entire childhood. So, I went into a dog-centered field. I am certified as dog obedience trainer, and have worked with my parents senior Westie. I am currently staying at home, so I have a lot of time. My husband works five days a week, and I would love to have a job. Usually Monday through Thursday are good, nine to three. I am hoping to eventually be able to board dogs overnight. I love dogs. They are usually all so friendly once they know you, and I enjoy loving on them. You can rest assured I will do everything, within reason, that I can do to keep a dog safe and healthy.

About: Hi! My name is Kimberly, I am a full time registered nurse with a lot of flexibility in my schedule to assist you with your pets needs while you are away! Since I have multiple days off a week I am able to work my schedule around the needs of your pets (babies!). I currently have three dogs, although, I have also owned and loved rabbits, hamsters, cats, ferrets, and fish. I am open to caring for any animal (expect spiders, sorry!!!) that you have. I can administer any medications needed. I currently have a fully blind hound dog with glaucoma that is also a diabetic requiring insulin injections along with oral medication and eye drops. Our beloved Bullmastiff, whom passed away in 2024 was epileptic and required 12 pills a day along with as needed rectal seizure meds so I am positive I can care for your special needs animals with just as much love and care when you are away. I have two elementary school aged children who can also assist with helping with your pets needs (if applicable & okay with owners) with my assistance to help learn responsibility, routines, a good work ethic, and be able to earn their own money and learn the hard work and value of a dollar. My kids have experience with feeding, walking, medication administration, and lots of play and snuggles. :) Please reach out if you have any questions! I’ve raised cats, dogs, rabbits, and chickens, and I also work closely with the animal lab at the Science Museum of Virginia in my hometown of Richmond. About: I’ve lived in my house with a dog and two cats since I was five. My childhood dog was a pittbull, and now my family has a beagle. I’ve looked after them since I was 12. I also look after my neighbor's two dogs when she's on vacation. One of my cats dealt with thyroid issues for 4 years before she died. I took care of her medication intake and adapted to her lifestyle. I’m currently searching for a part-time job, so I have a lot of free time on my hands. When I do start working, I will leave plenty of time for local animals. I can easily care for and clean up after your animals. As well, I've rescued several stray dogs that were later adopted into loving families or relocated to their home.
