About: Certified Dog Trainer & Professional Pet Spoiler I’ve been caring for animals professionally for over 10 years—basically, I’m the Mary Poppins of pets (minus the umbrella, plus a lot more treats). I work remotely, which means I have plenty of time to shower your furry, feathery, or finned friends with attention while you’re away. I share my life with my own dog, Roux, who would need to join me for overnight house sitting—she’s well-mannered, charming, and believes she’s the CEO of the operation. Specialties include: • Raising & training puppies (basic commands, potty, & crate training) • Senior pet care • Dogs with anxiety • Administering medications • Cat care (yes, even the sassy ones) • Rodent care (mice, guinea pigs, bunnies—you name it) • Basic fish tank maintenance (I’ve never lost a guppy on my watch) I work remotely which gives me some flexibility to care for your pup. I prefer overnight stays at the clients home with the ability to come home to work during the day but may be able to bring my work to you. I care for my clients pets exactly the same as their owner and better! I love them like my own. An in home pet sitter is a great way to keep your pets routine so they are less stressed while you are away.

I cannot say enough good things about Janay. After a previous less than optimal experience with boarding, I was very nervous about finding the right person for my dog, Grizzly. He’s a sweetheart but also very strong, so I needed someone who could handle him with confidence and care. From the very beginning, Janay put all my worries to rest. She was patient, attentive, and truly took the time to understand Grizzly’s needs. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him, and I could see how happy and comfortable he was in her care. She kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I picked him up, he was relaxed and happy—such a contrast to his last experience! If you’re looking for someone who is kind, reliable, and amazing with dogs, I highly recommend Janay. She gave Grizzly the care he deserved, and I’m beyond grateful!

I also had two cats, a strawberry tabby named Gidget, and a calico named Speck. Today I have a jack russel terrier named Frank and a grey tabby named Mushka. I believe that pets are family and I will take care of your fur babies like they are a part of mine! I am currently in between jobs so I am available to care for your pets every day of the week. drop-ins, walks, boarding, and housesitting. About: What sets me apart is my six years of experience caring for my rescue dog, who is sensitive and shy. This has taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to create a calm environment tailored to each dog’s unique needs. I’m especially good at working with dogs that require extra reassurance and care. Working part-time from home allows me to keep a flexible routine for the pets I care for. I’m home most of the day, so I can follow their schedule closely — from walks and feeding times to playtime and rest — making sure they always feel safe and loved. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, pets are always supervised, have access to fresh water, and enjoy a calm, pet-friendly environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely and make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times.

Beauty and her pack are wonderful! I can’t recommend Beauty enough to any pet owner! Our dog Freya had an amazing time and Beauty was very flexible when our plan changed to a later pick up time. She even offered to let Freya stay the night if that worked better for us. I can’t thank Beauty and the pack enough for giving us peace of mind when we can’t be with Freya!

About: I grew up fostering animals from the Humane Society of Harford County, caring for animals with the range of young puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats. And, yes, I’ve “foster-failed” a few times, and have multiple cats and dogs of my own. A house isn’t a home without a fur baby. I am a middle-school teacher who currently has full availability now that summer vacation has begun. I’d love to fill my time off by caring for your four-legged friends! Fostering animals with a variety of backgrounds, training levels, capabilities, etc., has given me a lot of experience with creating a safe and happy environment.
