About: I have cared for cats and dogs for years. I rescued one cat to later find out she had seizures. She got proper treatment, love and attention, and lived to be fifteen. I am retired and available days, evenings, weekends, and most holidays to meet your pets needs and your schedule to keep on your pets routine. About: My husband and I love dogs! Our dog, Alfred, is like one of our children. We have two young girls who have grown up with Alfred. We live in a single family home with a fully fenced back yard on 3/4 of an acre. We love being outside and frequently play in the back yard and go for walks. The house is kept clean and because of my pet history I keep things off the floor and food safe from pets. There’s a nice yard but no fence. I have my three boys staying here every other week/end. They're animal lovers too, but in case separation is needed, my bedroom, enclosed sunroom, and finished barn space can be used to contain a pet when the kids are around. For pet sitting and dog walking, I have a leash and a fanny pack. As a runner, it's a joy to take energetic dogs on the trail. For runs & walks, I use my own private access to the little gunpowder falls river woods with a long walkable waterfall, the local NCR trail, or the cemetery across the street (1/4mi laps).

My name is MaKenzi and I have had pets as long as I can remember, I grew up with two pitbulls rescues, two smaller dogs, and an older cat that I assumed most of the care for as both parents worked full time jobs. We are animal lovers, and truly enjoy every moment. I have an unfenced yard and my home backs to over an acre of common area. I have a moderate-size deck that I gate. I live in a residential neighborhood with plenty of space for walks. I have plenty of space within my home for entertaining your furry buddy. At the moment I work full time from home. Sometimes I work part time for the Harford County Public (elementary) School System. I enjoy spending time in the comfort of my home. I miss all of my prior pups and am so happy when they return for a visit. I generally take pets in my care for a walk three times a day. They will be taken outside for pee/poop breaks often. The majority of my pup parents choose to board in my home. If you are boarding your pet, you are welcome to bring your dog's bed, I have an extra large crate for safety concerns, so you can leave your crate at home, and please bring any other comfort items your pet enjoys. I always place a gate between my front door and living space. And your pet, unless I need to step out for groceries, or to drop a child at ballet, will always be under my watchful eye; otherwise crated, or gated, in a secure area. Safety is my #1 priority.
