Cheryl’s fenced backyard is not huge, but is dedicated to dogs and made a good play area. Also Cheryl managed playtime with other dogs well so our dog got lots of activity. Cheryl is great about sending photos and video so we were assured that our dog was well cared for while we were away.”

Anika took care of my golden retriever, Baron, over the weekend while I was out of town. Baron and I met her before our trip and I could tell that my dog was immediately at ease in her home. The house is very clean and cute and Anika and her family are warm and welcoming. There is a fenced in front yard with grass for Baron to play and get some exercise. I missed my pup so Anika even texted pictures over the weekend when she took him for walks. I will happily use Anika again the next time I need day or night care for Baron! Definitely recommend.”

About: I started my first pet sitting business when I was just around 7-8 years old. I used to pet sit out here in the same area of Ruch. I grew up out here. As an adult now, with many of my own animals, I am now offering my services again. I rarely go anywhere because I do not like being away from home and my animals. I'm almost always available and close by (servicing only Ruch). I grew up with, and took care of, many kinds of animals; horses, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, rabbits, etc. Being around animals gives me life and I love to help make animals feel special while their humans are away. It's already stressful for them, and for you too, so make it easier with someone who talks to them and makes sure that they feel special. I live at home with my hubby and he adored by every animal that meets him. He even stole my main doggy daycare client! Know when animals are here, they're cherished by both of us. I have my own small businesses that I can work on anytime I feel like it from home, which gives me great flexibility. I am available to take care of critters in the Ruch area almost any day, minus some appointments that I have sometimes. When I'm not here, hubby is here to watch them. In my home: To protect my own cats and dogs, I need to ensure that your dog is friendly with my animals, vaccinated, and protected from fleas and ticks. Outside is fenced in with no climb fencing and acreage for roaming around our house, they get to let me know when they want to go outside, or come inside. My dogs knock on the door and tell me what they want (in or out). I'm sure they will teach your dog to do the same. When inside, we read, nap, cuddle on the couch, floor, in front of the wood stove, or in a crate if your dog desires. Outside, there are a couple of acres to run and explore. I spend all day tending to my dogs and can do this for yours too.

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and even had up to 7 dogs at one point in my childhood home! I’ve always loved having pets and I even used to pet sit for neighbors frequently. I’m currently not working so I’m able to pet sit Monday-Sunday! I’m open to following specific routines that you have for your pet. I’m also available to do overnights if needed :) I do have a fenced in yard where I can supervise your pet. I currently have no personal pets of my own. I love to maintain their schedule as I know it could be hard for your pet to be in a new environment.

About: I am a former military working dog handler and trainer and I love being around dogs. I am available most days in the week in the afternoon to walk or run with your dog or even stop by for visits to feed and let them out. I am also available in the evenings. I am available on weekends as well and also on holidays. I usually have more time on weekends. I have dogs of my own and I love to be around animals and to help people out. I am also open for pet sitting for cats or going and checking on them again I cannot have the cat stay at my house though. Pet care is a priority in my schedule, and I plan my days around the needs of the pets I'm looking after. I’m intentional about not overbooking, so each pet gets the time and attention they deserve—whether it’s for walks, feedings, playtime, or overnight care. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or at a client’s home, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment that feels as close to “normal” as possible for the pet.
