About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of my own and have done lots of pet sitting for my friends and family: Cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. I worked at a veterinary office for 6 years until I became a physical therapist. I love all animals and will treat yours as I would my own. I’m currently still working as a physical therapist, and I plan to retire in October 2026. But my current schedule is such that I have days where I go in late or come home early so I can accommodate overnight pet sitting or dog walking. I prefer to do overnight pet sitting in your home, as that is what your pet is used to and will feel more comfortable with. I will follow any instructions you give me and abide by any pet rules you have in your home. I will give them lots of love!!
About: I love taking care of all different kinds of pets, I love working with pets that have unique personalities. There is still so many breeds of both dogs and cats that I would love to be able to take care of. I am currently working part-time at a pet boarding/ daycare facility and still going to school. I still seem to have time that I feel as if I am wasting and need something to fill that void. In my clients home I will try to stick to the instructions that they give me when I am caring for their pet. I will also do anything extra depending on the pet and the different needs that they may have. (Ex. If they are a senior pet or a puppy)
About: Hello, I’ve had animals all my life, grew up with 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have been taking care of family pets and my own pets since I was 10 years old. I am currently a mom of 2 cats, one is 11 and the other one is an 11 month old kitten. One of my part time jobs is taking care of individual with a disability and he loves to take his therapy dog (boarder collie mix) on a lot of walks and to the dog park. I have lots of energy myself and will love your pet as much as both of mine! I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets, I’m around most weekends if needed. Typically I don’t work past 2pm and can do early mornings before 7am. I have plenty of space for my cats to run around including window beds and cat trees around the house. My cats are allowed outside in a harness.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets for a couple of years. I have dog sat for many different kinds of dogs and have also taken care of cats before. I enjoy dog walking as well. I have two dogs at home and love playing with them and getting their energy out. About: My husband and I have been watching dogs in our home for over 10 years. Our busy lives of work and family have always held us back from owning our own dog. To satisfy our love for dogs we started watching our friends and families dogs and over the years thru word of mouth we have started getting phone calls asking if we would take on more dogs and then joined Rover. We have experience with small to large dogs, dogs with special dietary needs, dogs that need to be able to run, dogs that want to sit on your lap, to dogs that have medical needs. We believe that dogs should be treated as part of the family. We allow them to sit on furniture, sleep in bed etc.. Our jobs have afford us the ability to be able to adjust our schedules to be flexible and have the option to work from home when we have a dog staying with us. This allows us to be home with your dog to ensure they are getting plenty of play time, outside time and lots of attention. It is very rare that your dog will be home alone for a period of time. Our home is your dogs home... we give the dogs full access to the house. We are non smokers and do not have any pets of our own or small children. We walk the dogs twice a day and have an acre of land that dogs are free to roam, run and play -we like to play ball and tug a rope. We do provide a ground stake with a leash for those that like to run "free". We have ability to work from home and have very flexible schedules when needed. Which in turn allows us to very rarely leave your dog home alone We treat the dogs just as if they were our very own pet.. as part of the family. They have free range of the house .. on the furniture and beds.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
