No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.

About: Cats have always been my favorite animals, despite working with just about every domestic animal. Grumpy cats (my personal favorite- I love a challenge!), playful kittens, Velcro cats, they’re all so fun to interact with. I’ve grown up taking care of cats, and have an almost annoying amount of knowledge about them. I am experienced in medicating especially difficult cats, and I can trim nails as well!

About: I grew up with two dogs in the house as well as have watched and taken care of multiple friend’s pets when they have been out of town. I also have three cats of my own. I work full time from 8-5:00pm Monday through Thursday. 8am-11:30am on Friday. Weekends work well for overnight care. Available before and after work and days off are full attention to pet. I make sure that they are properly nourished and taken care of as well as given attention so that they don’t feel alone. I treat them as if they were my own.
About: We love caring for dogs! We have 2 dogs, both turning 2 in July. They both love all animals. We are experienced with cats and dogs. I would prefer dogs with experience with cats but they are fairly savvy and we have safe places within our home for them if needed. We work full time but we are available during weekends. We can be available for most weekend nights and kennel if needed during the week. Our home is extremely dog friendly. Fenced in backyard, many toys. Our home is their home! About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. About: Not only have I had dogs my entire life but I worked at a zoo from the age of 15-20! I worked with all kinds of animals and I love them all! Currently I have a couple different jobs and I go to school, but my nights after 8 are open during the week and I can take your pets on walks or check in on them in between my classes! Unfortunately I am not allowed to have animals in my apartment but I am willing to come to you to make your pets feel more comfortable! I give lots of love and attention to animals!
About: I love taking care of all different kinds of pets, I love working with pets that have unique personalities. There is still so many breeds of both dogs and cats that I would love to be able to take care of. I am currently working part-time at a pet boarding/ daycare facility and still going to school. I still seem to have time that I feel as if I am wasting and need something to fill that void. In my clients home I will try to stick to the instructions that they give me when I am caring for their pet. I will also do anything extra depending on the pet and the different needs that they may have. (Ex. If they are a senior pet or a puppy)
About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adore all animals but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have fostered puppies and dogs which included medication administration. I have a senior dog myself now and have been adapting his care to adhere to his age. I have trained puppies before with potty training, teething, and walking on a leash. I work full time during the week but have a fairly flexible schedule. Primarily available on the weekends to love and care for your pets. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs. “What can I say? Melissa was amazing. Needed a sitter for our Weimaraner at the last minute. Needed to leave town for family reasons. Called the usual suspects. They gave me the dog and pony show. No pun. Ridiculous what you got to go through to board your dog these days. A few of my friends and customers recommended Rover. I went on there and checked it out. In about 30 minutes from first seeing it, to signing up, I had already booked Melissa to watch our dog Kaiser. I arranged to bring him over, and she couldn't have been any more sweet. I can really tell that she loves animals. Very cool chick too. Our dog was in good hands the couple days he was there. When we got him back, he was well rested, and had none of the anxiety boarding can bring on. It's great to know I have someone that I can rely on if we leave town for any reason to watch after our pooch. I couldn't recommend her anymore. Thank you!”
