“Jill and her family took food care of Stella She is always excited when we get to Jill’s home and loves playing with the children and is happy to stay. Jill always sends pictures of Stella so we know how she is doing. We always book our stay for Stella with Jill when we are traveling.”
“Chelsea was amazing, she updated with pics and kept me in the loop on how my dog was doing. She is great I would definitely recommend and would let her watch my dog again!”

“Very happy with the communication and picture updates. Kristen kept my concerns checked before I even expressed them. I also sincerely appreciate the flexibility of drop-off and pick-up by another party. Will gladly use again next time!”

“Loki had so much fun spending the weekend with Jill! It was our first time finding a sitter for our dog + am so thankful to have found her! Will definitely have to bring him back! ❤️”

“Julie was absolutely amazing with River! This was my first time ever boarding a pet, especially a puppy, so I was definitely a little nervous about leaving her. Julie made the entire experience so much easier and helped make the transition smooth and stress-free. She kept me updated with daily pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind and let me see how happy and comfortable River was. It was obvious that River was well cared for, loved, and given plenty of attention while she was there. I couldn’t have asked for a better first boarding experience. I highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable to care for their fur babies. We will definitely be using her again! ❤️🐾”

“Andrea always takes wonderful care of our dog. Oakley is getting older, and she always makes sure Oakley is comfortable, putting rugs on slick floors and moving her bed as needed. We never have to worry about her when we leave her with Andrea.”

“Our pup Polly loved staying with Janet. Janet was very patient, knowing she just turned one and still has that puppy energy! We really appreciate the daily updates and pictures. We highly recommend Janet!”

“Linseed has watched our dog Maisy a couple of times when we have gone out of town. She always sends pictures and Maisy looks right at home. We have been very happy with the care she has received.”

“Mark was absolutely wonderful with our brand new puppy Violet. She is only 14 weeks so I was so nervous to leave her for the night. He put my mind to ease right away at the meet and greet. His dog Charlie was a delight as well. She played so well with Violet. He was awesome at sending updates and photos the whole time we were gone. We will definitely be using Mark again. You can tell that he takes caring for other peoples loved ones very serious. He definitely has a passion and love free animals.”

“Our puppy always wants to stay with Keely. When we go home he contines to ring the bell to leave. Safe to say he would rather stay with Keely and Ethan! He loves it at their house.”

“She was amazing! My dogs absolutely loved her. She sent me pictures and updates daily. She gave me a full run down when I went to pick them up. My heart was happy and I was at ease being so far away from them. I also had to change my days numerous times and add on another day last minute because of travel plans changing. And she was so great and flexible with all of it. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: As a proud dog mom to two pups, Harry and Rosey, I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your furry family members! I've spent years caring for my own dogs and understand that every pup has their own personality, quirks, and routines. Whether your dog loves to play, go for walks, or just curl up for some cuddles, I'm happy to make them feel right at home. I have cared for older dogs as well (my soul-dog was 20 when he passed) and have experience giving medicine if needed :) I offer a comfortable, loving home environment where your dog will receive plenty of individual attention, affection, and care. I know how reassuring it is to receive updates while you're away, so you can expect lots of pictures and communication! My goal is simple: for your dog to feel like they're on vacation, too! 🐶❤️ When your pup stays with us, they’re part of the family! I am home full time, so whether they need a potty break, some playtime, extra belly rubs, or just want to snooze in their favorite sunny spot, they’ll get the love, attention, and care they deserve. I want them to feel just as comfortable and happy here as they do at home! I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, play, and burn off energy! My two friendly pups, Harry and Rosey, are always happy to have company! While we occasionally enjoy walks, most of our outdoor fun happens right in the backyard! Inside, there's plenty of space to relax and enjoy some quiet time, and I also have a crate available if needed.
“We left our 4.5 month y/o puppy with Amanda for a week & she did great! Our pup came home tired from all the fun she had. She got to play with lots of other dogs and we were overall very happy with her stay!”

“After having a change I plans for our trip over Thanksgiving and needing to cancel and then needing immediate overnight stay for Henry Katie, Brandt and Scarlett were kind and accommodating for us. Henry was cared for and loved his time with Scarlett. After a full day of play a great snuggle time came with Katie. Katie is a great communicator and sent great photo updates. 5 stars!”

“Eliza provided excellent care and lots of love to our pup while he stayed with her! She provided daily photos and updates to keep us informed. We would highly recommend Eliza to anyone looking for doggy daycare or boarding!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Fontanelle home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Fontanelle.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Fontanelle sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
