“I can’t say enough good things about Jaclyn. She not only helped us out in a last minute emergency, but our dog was welcomed with open arms as if she was her own. She also sent sweet pictures and updates throughout the timeframe she watched her. 10000% I would recommend her to anyone. She really is the best!”

“Amanda was a lifesaver and amazing human from start to finish! We needed to board 2 dogs for 5 days and she said no problem. The night before our trip, our youngest dog was sprayed by a skunk! Despite 2 baths and our best efforts, the pupper still stunk and Amanda graciously accepted our booking!! We are beyond grateful to her for putting up with our stinker for 5 days. She seriously saved us during a very stressful time and we were the lucky ones for getting to board with her. Thank you thank you!”
“Melissa was the perfect choice for our pup, Tito! She was so attentive and caring. He was a rescue and this was his first time away from us… 4 months after his adoption. I was worried he would think we abandoned him. She kept me updated and loved him like her own. Soon after drop off he was comfortable and having fun playing. We will definitely use Melissa again for any future needs.”

“Chelsea is a very kind person. She took great care of my puppy. She provided pictures daily. She did her best to make him comfortable. Charlie came back happy and very calm and content.I recommend her without hesitation.”

“Torey was excellent with our princess Snookie! She sent pictures daily and responded right away. Snookie loved her time over Christmas 🎄. Would definitely recommend Torey for long stays as we did for a week long vacation. Thank you Torey for taking care of our fur baby❤️”

“My dogs had a great stay with Stephanie and her family. They were well taken care of and happy. Stephanie was easy to communicate with and sent pictures and updates while we were away.”

“I was so nervous to leave my pup at a complete strangers house but it went so well. Lynsee sent me messages, pictures, even a video of my dog throughout the night. Our dog played so hard with her dogs that he didn't move the while next day. It's was great. Highly recommend”

“Anja was wonderful with our dog Nyla! Nyla got lots of exercise and loving care when she stayed with Anja. Nyla reportedly behaved well and got along great with Anja’s two dogs. I got pictures and sometimes videos of Nyla’s antics. Although we missed her while we were away, I knew Nyla was I. Good hands with Anja.”

“Andrea was an awesome sitter for our nine year-old Golden. This was the first time we’ve used Rover and we could not be happier! Andrea and her family treated Dundee like one of their own pets, making sure she asked us anytime there was any issue, playing with him, walking him, and routinely engaging with us and sending pictures. we would gladly use her anytime.”

“Danella did a great job of taking care of Brody, our Golden Retriever for the three days we were out of town. She sent daily pictures and updates, which we enjoyed getting. We would recommend her highly.”

“Piper is always excited to go see Jill and her dogs! I love the pictures and updates that she sends, most of all the peace of mind I have knowing that my sometimes hard to love pup is very well taken care of and happy.”

“We are so thankful we found Kathy to watch our beagle,Kona. She is absolutely the best! We felt comfortable from the very first time we met Kathy during our Meet and Greet. She watched Kona for two days when we went out of town. Kathy kept us updated and sent pictures. Communication was awesome! She loves dogs and treats them like one of her own. Kona loved going for walks and playing with her dog Charleigh. We already have dates set for Kathy to watch Kona during our upcoming trips. She is truly amazing!”

About: We’re a dog-loving family with 20+ years of hands-on experience caring for our own pets and others. My husband has had dogs his entire life, and our home is full of genuine love for animals. We have experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medication and accommodating mobility issues with patience and care. Our home setup allows us to safely separate dogs when needed, ensuring every pet feels comfortable and secure. For safety and routine, we do ask that dogs are crate trained for overnight stays. Most pets enjoy relaxing on our main floor or in our finished basement, where they’re treated like part of the family. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day to provide consistent care and attention. Dogs are let out regularly every 4 hours, depending on their needs, and I make time for walks and outdoor breaks whenever the weather allows. My flexible schedule helps ensure your pet stays comfortable, active, and well cared We prioritize routine, consistency, and attention in our daily care. Dogs can be fed on your schedule, within reason, and are given frequent opportunities for outdoor time and exercise. Weather permitting, we incorporate playtime outside, and in the evenings, pets receive plenty of interaction, affection, and engagement.
“Kayle and her family were amazing! They took such great care of my dog. They sent pictures and updates. I felt so confident that my pup was being taken care of and having fun while I was gone. I’m so grateful I found them on here! I will absolutely book them again :)”

“Amy was really great and was able to help us out in a pinch. She took great care of Kylo and was very kind and respectful when she was having issues with our other dog in regards to finding another sitter for her. While we won’t be using Amy again due to one of our dogs not getting along with her dog or her children, j would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone!”

“Kristen was amazing! She was so kind, sent us tons of photos and updates, and Bear had the best time with Zoe. We were gone for 14 days, and I felt completely at ease knowing Bear was happy and so well cared for.”

“Sarah did a fantastic job watching Louie. She sent pictures daily, has a dog park located in her complex, and even went to extra mile in giving Lou a bath when he was dirty. I would recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter!”

About: I've had multiple dogs over my lifetime. I have always been a dog lover and am always sure to give them the love, attention, and exercise that they need and deserve. I work from home two days a week, so the only days I am not at the house with the dogs is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On the days that I do not work from home, somebody is always at the house until 7:30 and back at the house by 3:30 I have a fenced in back yard, which makes for a nice safe area to play fetch and run around with my kids. For pets staying overnight, they will get walked at least twice, once in the morning and once in the evening. Depending on the owners preference, we can walk through the neighborhood, or we can take a short drive to Zorinsky and walk around the lake. I have three dogs, all with great temperaments and LOVE to play. I also treat our animals like family, so your pets are also more than welcome to be on furniture if that's where they are most comfortable.
“Valentina provided excellent care for my pug while I was out of town. She did a lot of things that made me confident my dog was in good hands. 1. She set up a visit beforehand, 2. She was welcoming and allowed me in her home during drop off and pick-up, 3. She was extremely friendly and polite and had several items to prepare so that I did not have to pack a bed. We even ran out of food as I forgot to check how much we had and she took care of it. She was prompt to respond and I was impressed with her frequent communication and pictures, too. I would definitely recommend her and return!”

About: I have always had dogs. I have trained dogs for years, including hunting dogs. I have helped others with their animals throughout the years as well. I also take care of a farm and their animals from time to time just north of Omaha she would be a reference. I work remotely, so I’m home all the time unless I need to run a quick errand. There is direct access into my apartment, so no need to go through hallways. I will treat them like they’re my own and we walked every day. I have a park here. I also live right next to Lake Zirinsky so taking a walk at the park is easy.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Cedar Bluffs home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Cedar Bluffs.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Cedar Bluffs sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
