“We were very pleased to have had Harley stay with Alexis and would 100% recommend her as a host. When I first met her I could tell off the bat she was good with handling dogs. She has a sweet pup of her own and on the morning we dropped off my Harley, Alexis was also taking care of another dog for a few days. At first she had the other dogs outside knowing my dog is a little afraid of other dogs, but brought them in one at a time to introduce to Harley so he wouldn't be afraid and overwhelmed when he first arrived. Alexis was very warm and welcoming to Harley and during the day she contacted me just to assure me Harley was doing well and sent me a couple of photos of him. Alexis also took Harley for walks and knowing he gets seperation anxiety he went on a little outing with her...In the end Harley was a happy dog and I would definitely have Alexis take care of him again!!!”

About: I’m a mom and teacher and would love to care for your fur babies. Lifelong pet owner familiar with all breeds of dogs. Large fenced in yard and we offer plenty of outdoor play time and exercise. Pet friendly furniture and our dogs have access to all rooms of the house. I teach during the day but am home all evenings and weekends. Crate available if needed. Home every evening and weekends. I am only away during school hours. I have lots of flexibility and am willing to work with most schedules. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog here at home. I can crate your pup or if they are used to sleeping in your bed we allow that too!

About: I LOVE dogs and cats. I have had dogs and cats of my own my whole life of all breeds and sizes. From over night stays, to just a quick check in I will be available for any need your dog(s) may have. Activities I enjoy most with dogs- walks, inside & outside playtime, and doggy cuddles. I am willing travel to reach you around the Dickson/ Hickman County areas. I am also willing to take dogs to appointments/dog parks in my car so I am versatile and mobile. I try my hardest to be flexible with my schedule to be available at different times as much as possible. No dog is too small or too big. No dog is too young or old. Trust me to take care of your dog care needs. Please note I don't mind dropping in to help with cats and walking cats also. Just due to allergies I cannot have them in my own home. I work from home and my husband and I are home most nights and weekends. So, he will be around your animals as well in our home. Any drop in visits and walking I will be handling myself. We have two (female) dogs of our own who require medications and extra care. So, we are familiar with routines for dogs with special needs/ requests as well. I have also had dogs in my care from newborn puppies to senior dogs. So, I am used to furry friends of all ages and sizes. In home we have two (female) dogs of our own who get along great with other dogs. Our home offers a fenced in back yard so dogs can hangout outside or inside. There are various dog beds throughout and an extra room to allow for personal space, alone, and quiet time. Going to other's homes I stay mindful of a dog's or cat's space and preferences, as well as clients personal property. I also have access to nearby dog parks and I live in a neighborhood where I can walk dogs for extra exercise as well.

More than willing to work with you on timing and boarding days anyway we can to make sure you have the best experience. I have a fenced in yard for your pup to enjoy quality playtime with our well trained pups. All pups will be crated at night for bed with minimum crate time throughout the day. About: I worked as a veterinary technician and ICU nurse at a veterinary teaching hospital for 11 years. I have a farm where I have 2 cats, chickens, 3 dogs, 2 dachshunds and an Australian shepherd. I would love to pet sit your pups and provide an adventurous, peaceful, home away from home. Most weeks I am working from home so I am here all day with my pets and yours. I give numerous potty breaks throughout the day along with pasture walks and trail hikes, all on my property. If I leave for appointments or errands, I am gone no more than 4 hours. I have 22 acres that my pups (and cats and chickens) roam on. The front is fenced and gated but there are still places around the perimeter that does not have a full fence. I can easily keep your pup on a leash while staying if desired. I am happy to crate your pup if you desire during bedtime and/or when I am out for a few hours. I have multiple sizes of crates available so you will not have to bring. I have a background in veterinary medicine and never let my pups out of my sight while we are outside playing.
