“I am so fortunate to have found Josh. My Emma liked him instantly, which is rare. My Zeusy gets super excited when he sees his harness, which he only wears for walks, so I know he enjoys Josh’s visits as well.”

About: I LOVE dogs and cats. I have had dogs and cats of my own my whole life of all breeds and sizes. From over night stays, to just a quick check in I will be available for any need your dog(s) may have. Activities I enjoy most with dogs- walks, inside & outside playtime, and doggy cuddles. I am willing travel to reach you around the Dickson/ Hickman County areas. I am also willing to take dogs to appointments/dog parks in my car so I am versatile and mobile. I try my hardest to be flexible with my schedule to be available at different times as much as possible. No dog is too small or too big. No dog is too young or old. Trust me to take care of your dog care needs. Please note I don't mind dropping in to help with cats and walking cats also. Just due to allergies I cannot have them in my own home. I work from home and my husband and I are home most nights and weekends. So, he will be around your animals as well in our home. Any drop in visits and walking I will be handling myself. We have two (female) dogs of our own who require medications and extra care. So, we are familiar with routines for dogs with special needs/ requests as well. I have also had dogs in my care from newborn puppies to senior dogs. So, I am used to furry friends of all ages and sizes. In home we have two (female) dogs of our own who get along great with other dogs. Our home offers a fenced in back yard so dogs can hangout outside or inside. There are various dog beds throughout and an extra room to allow for personal space, alone, and quiet time. Going to other's homes I stay mindful of a dog's or cat's space and preferences, as well as clients personal property. I also have access to nearby dog parks and I live in a neighborhood where I can walk dogs for extra exercise as well.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for many years and truly love caring for animals of all kinds. With plenty of experience, I understand how important it is to keep your pets safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m dependable, flexible with scheduling, and always willing to work with you to meet your pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, medication, or just keeping your furry friend company, I’m here to help! I work a full-time rotating schedule where I’m on for 7 days straight and then off for 7 days. My work week always starts on a Thursday and ends on a Wednesday. During those 7 workdays, I’m working full-time each day. After that, I get a full week off to rest and take care of personal things. It’s a repeating cycle—7 days on, 7 days off—so every other week I’m either working or completely off I pet sit because I genuinely love what I do — and animals love me back. Their comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. When pets stay with me in my home, they become part of the family. I make sure every animal is well-fed, always has fresh water, and most importantly — plenty of playtime and affection. They get a safe, loving environment where they can relax and feel right at home. When I care for pets in your home, I follow all instructions to the letter — from feeding and medication routines to special care details. I send regular photo updates so you always know how your furry friend is doing, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Respecting your space and your pet’s routine is always a priority. Whether they’re staying with me or I’m staying with them, your pet gets the same thing: love, attention, and top-notch care.

“Amy liked Vickie as soon as they met and was happy to go out on a walk with her. Vickie kept me informed of her schedule and how Amy did on her walks. She also volunteered to give me additional help if I needed it. She was a wonderful, kind person and I would not hesitate to use her again.”

About: I have been an animal owner and lover as long as I can remember. We also travel quite often and are familiar with the anxieties and concerns when your own pets are left in someone else’s care while you are aware. I also make my own schedule and am free to drop in as needed to check on pets, provide potty breaks, or simply cuddle our buddies. My own yard is fenced 2 acres. I do have my own pets, chickens, and lizards. There is always fresh water available and pets are constantly monitored.

I give numerous potty breaks throughout the day along with pasture walks and trail hikes, all on my property. If I leave for appointments or errands, I am gone no more than 4 hours. I have 22 acres that my pups (and cats and chickens) roam on. The front is fenced and gated but there are still places around the perimeter that does not have a full fence. The other is a Texas heeler and he’s a little old male so he can sit and make friends by snuggling up. Then 3 German shepherd puppies who love to play! I crate all my dogs at night before bed. About: I’ve worked in a vet's office and taken care of pretty much all animals over the years. I grew up showing horses competitively on a small farm with chickens, ducks, cattle, rabbits, pigs, dogs, and cats. Since then I’ve owned and cared for miniature donkeys, standard poodles, Weimeraners, Dalmatians, cats, and chickens. As long as it’s not a reptile, I’m game. I love those who need something extra that your normal pet sitter may not be comfortable with - and I also love all the others who don’t need anything special! I have an extremely flexible schedule and can work around pretty much whatever you need. One thing’s for sure - I will be honest with you. If I can’t do it, I will tell you. I will come to your home and care for your pets just as you do! I don’t need a pre-visit (unless you would like that) - you can show me by FaceTime or you can leave me a note. Tara K.
“Tara is the best! With a keen love for all animals, she is a “collector” of rescued dogs, kitty cats - some missing legs, but all with redeeming virtues. She has a hoard of chickens that follow her around like the mama hen that she is. She’s a lizard mama and even looks after the hamsters, gerbils and mice. She always takes great care of my beasties whenever I go out of town. I highly recommend Tara K.”

Brandie L.
“I can't say enough good things about Brandie when it comes to how she cares for animals. She is one of the most responsible and loving pet caregivers I’ve ever known. Whether it's her own pets or someone else's, she gives them all her love with special attention, feedings, exercise on the farm, and always keeps them comfortable and safe. She's incredibly attentive to their needs and genuinely enjoys spending time with all animals. You can see the bond she forms with animals almost instantly, and it’s clear how much they trust her in return. I would confidently trust her with any pet, knowing they would be in the best hands possible. She's not just dependable—she truly treats every animal like family.”

Nicole M.
“Nicole has always been a pet lover. Her first job, while in high school she worked at a boarding kennel in Nashville. After graduation she went on to become an EMT, but after about 2 years of working in the medical field, she missed working with animals so picked up a part time job at a vet clinic. She has always taken care of animals as they were her own kids, I honestly would pick on her and say you don't need children, you got plenty. She has one dog that has seizures, and takes medicine twice a day, and she always makes sure that he gets it on time, everytime. If it's not her being there, she makes sure she has someone there, and they have to call her after they give him the medication, so she knows he got it.”

Gary S.
“Gary is a very pet friendly person. Anytime he sees a pet, he instantly wants to cuddle them and make sure they are tended to.”

Rachel H.
“Rachel is genuinely one of the kindest people i’ve ever met, attentive, thoughtful and very intentional. She grew up with tons of animals and always took great care of them, Rachel is a trustworthy pick for your Pup :)”
