Cat Sitting in Florence

“This was our second time using Jaclyn to watch our cat Blaze. We were in Mexico for a week and she sent daily updates and gave our kitty lots of love and playtime. We will definitely use Jaclyn again in the future!”

Upon our return, we found them in great condition, and they were not mad at us for leaving them with a then "stranger." About: I love spending time with large and small dogs, and I'm comfortable with dogs on the couch. I can follow written rules and specific instructions if you need. My specialty is caring for dogs in their home environment, or filling in for other sitters. Am in Yachats by the 804 trail, Eugene and Springfield. Occasionally available Portland & Vancouver Metro for up to two weeks. I am happy to stay overnight and follow your usual schedule. If I travel 10 miles or more to house and pet sit, there will be no other pet owner clients during my days with your pets. That means I won't be available for walking or dropping in on other clients animals. I am retired and make my own schedule. My hobby is writing and art of various types. I can provide walks in Florence, and Yachats when in town. My specialty is house sitting. I will sometimes travel further than 50 miles, if providing care 5 days or more. When away from home I expect to take 2 hour breaks within the local area for shopping. I would otherwise be home with the animals. Most animals really like me. I stay home at night, so they feel safe. I usually do not care for clients pets in my own home. I may make an exception if I know the pet well, and the client is comfortable with that arrangement. In a house and pet sitting situation, I follow the clients rules if stated. If house sitting I am willing to add some additional services such as plant watering.

About: I've been in a household with dogs my entire life, and have dealt with those who have specific dietary needs as well as needing assistance when moving. I know how to handle dogs that need urine guards/diapers, primarily for house training. I can give baths, play, feeding of course, and walks as well as help work on training simple things. If there's anything extra needed then just leave me instructions and I'll follow them to a T! My time is very flexible save for Tuesdays, but unless a change in time is needed then I'm available all days of the week. I'm typically better from 12 noon and later, but if you happen to be within my culdesac then I can go much earlier, just let me know. While I won't be watching pets at my place, my two cats have access to both floors due to Tue second floor being where bedrooms are and their food, toys, and litter pans being downstairs. My cats typically perch in my bedroom and curl up for naps, one more aloof while the other is made of velcro to my hip, hahaha.

“Jessica recently spent a week watching our 2 feline friends. She stayed overnight and bonded with both cats. Her communication skills were excellent as she kept in touch with us regularly. The house was in good order when we returned. We will have her house-sit again when we leave town.”

About: I have taken care of all types of animals since I was a little girl. My friends and family have taught me a lot about being a good caretaker , and having a very antsy and athletic black lab has given me a lot of experience. I work part time so I have plenty of time to walk and care for animals, spend time with the dogs outside and giving them all the attention they need. I think every dog is different, while some dogs can sit outside with no out lying fear of running away, while others need leashes and fences so I will be accommodating for each dogs needs

I started my personal experience with my own pets at 6 years old and began my professional experience volunteering at the local animal hospital when I was 15 years old. I have worked most recently in the veterinary field for over three years as a Veterinary Assistant and am currently working towards my Registered Veterinary Technician AVMA board certification. About: As you can tell from my photos , my dogs are my everything. I love the concept of the app and I’m excited to meet new pups. I have two dogs for example , wake up greet them a good morning. Get myself ready for the morning and then over to the dogs where I will feed them breakfast. We then will head out into the yard to play while I drink my morning cup of coffee. It starts the day off perfectly for us. My boyfriend whom I live with , he stays at home as he has his own buisness and in return I get a lot of free time. Being on Rover is a perfect way to spend time with other dogs and be helpful to my community. I treat my puppies very kindly , if not they’re quite spoiled. 😉 I care very deeply about animals and I aim to help when I can !

About: Hi! You can call me Bee, and my whole life I have been passionate about animals of all shapes and sizes. In my youth I helped my Mom with overnight pet sitting. As an adult I spent 2 years in management with Petco where I was intimately involved in all the areas of animal care including administering medication and dog bathing. Additionally, I have many years of experience with caring for my own pets as well as helping my friends and family with their pets. I personally work part-time and primarily make my own schedule depending on the gig requirements. I can adjust my work to accommodate your needs. My partner is on site as well to provide support and my 2 compassionate children are always excited to help out. My family spends most of our time on the property and we all work together to provide the best services for you and your pet. Currently, my family lives in an adorable farmhouse and we would love to have your fur baby come stay with us for a unique experience enjoying the natural environmental we have available right outside our doorstep. Your loved one will be treated as one of our own alongside my 12 year old cat and a 3 year old Iguana who has his own enclosure. Your pet will also enjoy the smells of farm animals that stay on the property, including sheep and horses. You can trust that your pet will have all of their needs met no matter how much or how little adventure they can handle while staying with us. Dedicated areas can be blocked or fenced of to accommodate all of your pets needs depending on their level of socialization. Private one on one time including bathing and walks can be arranged or play with friendly neighbor dogs who frequent the property can be arranged as well if that is something your pet would benefit from. We maintain a clean and calm environment inside of our home with a warm wood stove they can lay by and large windows they can watch the various wildlife from; again providing as much or as little socialization as they need. If I will be visiting your home for walks or overnight sitting I would spend some time observing their behaviors and understanding their areas and what they like. In any situation your pet will recieve all of the love and belly rubs they want and need. We can't wait to meet you!

About: Since childhood I have been caretakers to dogs, cats, hamsters and even fish. I even saved my parents cats life using a cpr technique used on infants. I have been a door dash driver for years as it easily fits into my lifestyle, recently adding grub hub and instacart to my resume. This will fit perfectly into my schedule. I live on property with my family on about an acre of fenced yard very dog friendly. I let my dog have free reign of the property. I would care for your animal as you specify and with great attention to detail.
