About: We’ve looked after all kinds of animals! (And believe me I mean all kinds) I’ve been official in pet care for 5yrs, and my husband has 3yrs animal obedience training! Our family has always trusted us as the official pet sitter due to our patience, responsibility, and compassion. We take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs, and our genuine love for animals shows that. Whether they’re playful, senior, shy, or require extra attention, we care for every animal the way we’d want someone to care for our own—with kindness, respect, and lots of love. I run two of my own businesses, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m able to dedicate a lot of time to caring for your pets! I’ve been a CNA for 8 years, and after 4 years in healthcare, I branched out and started my own service. I’ve also owned and operated my pet care business for 5 years! I love being in healthcare, but my true passion has always been animals.🐾❣️My schedule is generally open unless I have something already planned, and I’ll always communicate with clients ahead of time about my availability. I’m also lucky to have my husband by my side! We’re truly a little power team when it comes to caring for your fur babies. He has 3 years of animal obedience training and is an entrepreneur who helps with our pet care in his spare time. When I’m unavailable, he is there to help take over and make sure your pets continue receiving the same loving, dependable care. Because we work as a team, you may interact with or receive care from both of us during your pet’s stay. We’re committed to treating every pet like family and making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. 🐶🐱💕 We provide warm, loving, and dependable home for pets of all kinds. We live in a family oriented neighborhood with plenty of space in the house, as well as a large front and partially fenced back yard! (And a large deck for those who love to sun bathe!) Our neighborhood also forms a circle great for walks on a leash! We take the time to understand each pet’s personality, needs, and routine so they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, medication, or simply offering companionship, we treat every pet like family. We guarantee the care you receive for your pets is the same kindness, patience, and respect I would want for our own. I also offer extra kennels, leashes, bowls, and toys for those who are in a rush and simply forget!
“This is the first time I've used Roover and I'm very pleased I did. Sarah is caring, sweet and very trustworthy person. When you meet Sarah you can really see her love for animals. She gave my cat love and care as if he was her own. I loved the way she kept me informed with pictures and text while I was on vacation. I can't thank her enough. I highly recommend her without reservation and can't wait to use her again.”

“Sherry is amazing!! By fur baby enjoyed Sherry catering for him. I was very satisfied. She acceptes the job a day before my unscheduled trip. I appreciated that. I recommend Sherry to everyone.. Thank you Sherry!”

“Dara was very punctual and caring. She took great care of Mylo and actually did not short him time but instead gave a little extra attention. We'll look her up again when needed!”

About: I've taken care of many animals since I was young, I've been a sitter for 2 fur babies for 2years before I moved and I do have my own sweet girl, she just turned 5 this year. I currently work part-time 4-10pm and I am a college students, so I do make time to be around fur babies, being around pets just bring me peace and happiness especially if I'm keeping company, walking or just playing. I would prefer to walk or go to the pets home, I do have children in my home that are at a very busy age.

“Darian demonstrated professionalism by arriving as scheduled, ensuring my dogs were properly cared for, and providing peace of mind that they were in good hands. The care, patience, and kindness shown during each visit were greatly appreciated. What impressed me even more was the extra level of thoughtfulness-Darian took the time to secure my Amazon packages, which went above and beyond what was expected.”

“Kayla communicated thoroughly and provided excellent care to my two senior dogs. She rolled with the punches when there were accidents and kept me informed. We will definitely be booking with Kayla again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple different dogs, and cats at once. I’ve worked with elderly dogs and dogs who have needed medication as well. I'm available throughout the week so your fur baby will get lots of attention. I’m also available most weekends to pet sit as well! I have a big open yard perfect for your baby to run around in. I have one dog and four cats that are super friendly to everyone.
“Scarlett was amazing with our dogs! She always went above and beyond! We actually could relax on our vacation knowing she was watching our fur babies. She was always on time and her report cards were thorough, always letting us know what was going on. We would definitely have her watch our dogs again, she has been the best dog sitter we have ever had!”

“Mical was great with our fur babies (cats). She did 6 visits sitting with them 60 minutes a visit. One of the cats is very skittish but pictures sent showed she allowed Mical to rub her. That means she had trust in Mical. Finding someone to care for your fur babies is always challenging, but I had peace of mind with Mical.”

“Great job with interacting with my Mia. Joshua was easy to contact, professional and accommodating with my requests. I will definitely use Joshua again. Thank you for your services.”

About: I've always been a lover of all animals especially fur babies. They hold a special place in my heart ever since I was younger, volunteering every chance I get at the local shelters while growing up and also into adulthood, donating, fundraising, cleaning up wherever I was needed afterschool before heading home for the day. That's when I vowed to have all my pets as rescues. And encouraged my family and friends to do the same, and they did without hesitation because they know the good it did for the shelters ,plus I feel like rescue pets are the sweetest if i do say so myself. I'm hoping to have an opportunity to care for your furbabies also, and treat them as my own. Thank you for your time. Semper Fi! I currently work from home so my time is very flexible to have more time with your fur baby! I have extra hands to help in being a rover team member to help with the sweet fur babies out there. I have a lot of yard space even though it’s not fenced , there’s a lot of outside to explore. I have 2 fur baby’s to keep company also. A sr dog and a new adopted pup!
“Aaniyah was great with my babies ! She communicated very well with me regarding the visits and treated my babies with love and care. I was at ease on my trip knowing my babies loved their sitter and was in good hands. Definitely recommend Aaniyah!”

“JMark, is awesome!! I'm so glad I chose him. My Rottie Rome has really warmed up to him and looks forward to seeing him. They've quickly formed a bond and do well together. He keeps me updated on any developments concerning Rome, and we are pleased with his service. I hope he's apart of the family for a long while.”
“Ms. Amanda was a sigh of relief for us when going on vacation after a recent move away from our trusted sitter of 10 years. Even though our Bklu Boy wanted to be a little temperamental she was patient and calm with him. Thanks Rover for the amazing connection with her and allowing us to truly relax on vacation.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Flippen. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
