About: I've taken care of many animals since I was young, I've been a sitter for 2 fur babies for 2years before I moved and I do have my own sweet girl, she just turned 5 this year. I currently work part-time 4-10pm and I am a college students, so I do make time to be around fur babies, being around pets just bring me peace and happiness especially if I'm keeping company, walking or just playing. I would prefer to walk or go to the pets home, I do have children in my home that are at a very busy age.

“We had to find a sitter last minute for our dog and Emily came through! This was our first time leaving our baby and Emily made us feel at peace. She came by to meet Noire prior to our trip and right away our baby seemed happy 😃. Emily sent videos and pictures of Noire daily along with reports. I will definitely use Rover again and particularly request Emily.”

“Thank goodness for Jasen! Not only was Jasen able to come take care of our cat on short notice-he was great! Jasen went above and beyond to make sure our cat had water, food and a clean litter box. He kept her area clean and I appreciate that. There was a mix up on the app with days and I was impressed on how well Jasen handled it. I'd definitely recommend Jasen's services-he really cares!”

“Heather was absolutely amazing with our cat, Zoey. I was initially anxious about leaving her, but Heather made us feel completely at ease. We will definitely be booking Heather again for our next trip out of town.”

“Jetaun was amazing!!!! The dogs warmed up to her and was happy to see her when she arrived. She is professional, prompt, courteous, and gentle with my fur babies. I Highly recommend her and I will be using her from now on.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was about six years old—from family dogs and cats to neighbors’ pets and rescues. My love for animals started young and has only grown with time. I’m patient, gentle, and very attentive to each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s keeping up with energetic pups or comforting shy cats, I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I’m also great at following routines, giving meds if needed, and maintaining a calm, friendly environment. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I spend most of my time at home and love being active. I’m flexible with scheduling, whether it’s morning walks, midday visits, or overnight stays. You can always count on me to be on time and consistent with your pet’s needs. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and secure. I always keep a clean, safe space, double-check gates and leashes, and follow all owner instructions closely. I know how important trust is when someone’s caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously.
“JMark, is awesome!! I'm so glad I chose him. My Rottie Rome has really warmed up to him and looks forward to seeing him. They've quickly formed a bond and do well together. He keeps me updated on any developments concerning Rome, and we are pleased with his service. I hope he's apart of the family for a long while.”
About: I've taken care of my first dog when I was 11 years old. I now have two dogs of my own. I also volunteer at the humane society as a hobby. I understand the hassle and income. Do not worry! I am here to provide my very best. I do not have ANY experience with cats. I work full time to make sure my dogs get what they need. I can do dog walking and drop-in visits during weekdays. I do not rush. I do not provide boarding. *When booking a service, please let me know before the available date. I will have no choice to decline the request.* I walk them twice a day, tummy rubs help a lot, brushing teeth, grooming, cleaning, buying them toys, closely monitoring, providing blankets, and healthy food.
About: Experience with small, medium and large dogs and experience with cats I love animals of all kinds I have always had a dog in my life in each chapter of my life. I currently work from home full time. I am not glued to my laptop all day and I enjoy spending time with my Yorkie currently 1. We love doing tricks and learning to get treats and playing with her favorite teddy bear toy. I can leave for quick walks or feeds if needed. My passion is helping others! I have a fenced yard and a friendly Yorkie to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I love cuddles 🥰 and kisses 😘 I allow pets inside my home and to run freely in the backyard.
About: Since I was a child, I've had a strong affinity for animals and have always adored fur pets. I've been caring for animals since I was ten years old. I've worked with senior dogs for four years. Neighbors and friends have entrusted me with keeping an eye on, walking, bathing, and feeding their pets. I also kept an eye on chickens. I figured rover would be a great way for me to interact with a variety of furry friends. I can work full time on weekends and part time and weekdays because I’m still in school. But I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends, and drop ins on weekdays. I don't keep pets in cages because I don't want them to feel confined. I do accept pets on furniture, but if you want your pet to be crated I will allow it. I also have a very large yard for your pet to run about in.
“Thank you Lanae! Once again our fur baby, Milo was so well taken care of. I always feel at peace knowing Milo is in good hands. I appreciate all the updates and pictures Lanae sends every drop in. You are awesome Lanae😁”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bonanza. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
