“Thank you so much Melissa and Angel! It was my first time using them and they made me feel at ease. They send me pictures and updates throughout the whole stay on how Rocky was doing. See you guys soon!”

“Monica and her family was great with my Giovanna, I’m already to book my next stay with her for my two week vacation. We received updates on how our puppy was doing. She went on walks it was like she was home away from home. So much better than placing her in a kennel. Monica and family will be my puppy new extended family. I can now relax while going away :-) thank you Monica for taking such good care of Giovanna”

“Jazmine (and her boyfriend Norman) took wonderful care of our 12-year-old black Lab, Judy, who is a cancer survivor and a bit particular—sweet, but needy and not a fan of other dogs. Jazmine cared for her in her home, made sure she had her morning medicine, and sent us daily updates with snuggle photos that made us feel completely at ease. Judy was clearly loved and beautifully looked after. Warm, professional, and trustworthy—highly recommend.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Sharon! This was the first time we left our puppy Lake with her, and she immediately put our minds at ease. She sent daily updates, photos, and videos, which made us feel connected and reassured that our puppy was having a great time. It was obvious from every update that our puppy was happy, loved, and very well cared for. Sharon was incredibly attentive, flexible, and treated Lake like one of her own. When we picked her up, she seemed so comfortable and content, which speaks volumes about the care she received. We are so grateful for the love and attention Sharon gave our puppy and would not hesitate to use her again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter!!”

“We use Kadie for an overnight stay for our dog. She was very kind and sweet. The neighborhood was very nice and Secure seemed and our dog seemed happy when we picked him up the next day I would highly recommend her.”

“Yuli and her family were amazing and welcomed Buddy into their family with open arms. We got tons of updates, pictures and videos and it was clear he was so happy and relaxed with them. I appreciate them so much and will definitely use her again!”

“Very communicative, very kind, sent me pictures of my babies, and accomodated the needs of my 13 year old dog and 2 very picky kitties. And at time of pick up she had every one and every thing I brought to her out and ready to go. 5 stars.”

“Kathleen is reliable, highly observant, and genuinely passionate about animals. This was observable through her friendly and warm demeanor, and compassionate verbal and physical interactions with Haru and his responsiveness to her. Her photo update was sincerely appreciated and gave a secure sense of transparency. The environment was clean, organized and provided ample free space for indoor and outdoor movement.”

“Thank you, Amanda, for taking such good care of our dog, Maya. We will be sure to use your great service in the near future and will recommend you to other families in need of pet sitting. It was great to have peace of mind on our vacation knowing Maya was getting TLC when not in her own environment.”

“Really nothing to complain about! Very professional and easy to work with. Had a fair rate, and was always on top of responding. As far as the actual service, always gave updates, was very flexible, and very quickly gave me the assurance that my doggo was in safe hands! 🐾 Most importantly - picked up my dog to find him happy and healthy. Thank you so much!”

“What an amazing experience! It felt like I left my pup with family. They kept me in the loop and I could tell my pup was happy. What more can you ask for. Amazing. Thank you.”

“Wonderful experience. Zoey was loved and spoiled. Excellent communication to coordinate the stay and Matthew sent pictures throughout Zoey’s visit. Thank you for taking such great care of her. 🐾💕”

“Brooke, Jeremy and Family were absolutely wonderful! Five stars, 10/10 ! Thank you for the care and attention you gave our Pomeranian babies! The daily photos made us so happy!”

“Jaylene did a great job taking care of my fur baby! She even got her to eat which never happens when she’s away from home. I appreciate how quickly Jaylene responded to my questions and sent over updates and photos when I was missing my girl.”

About: Hello Fur-Parents! I am an aspiring naturopathic veterinarian, with a desire to save animals lives and offer them a second chance at life! I treat every single animal as my own baby. I currently own two toy yorkies, bunnies, birds and chickens. I would be delighted to walk, petsit, or board your cat and/or dog! I have plenty of time to give your pet(s) the playtime, outdoor fun, and affection they deserve! I am dedicated to making sure the animals are happy! About: Hi! I'm Agatha, an animal lover eager to meet new pets:) | grew up around animals my entire life (birds, fish, cats, dogs). As an animal caretaker of many years, l've learned how to instill routine into pets' lives. Pet’s needs always come before my own, and your furry friend will be treated like they are part of the family! I make sure they get enough play time, training, and LOVE. We truly have so much more to learn from animals than they have to learn from us. I’m currently doing freelance work from home so no meetings or anything, your pet will have my full attention ! At most I will be gone for an hour a day to make some food. I live in my family home with 5 huskies who have their own fenced off area in the front side of the house. In the back of the house there's acres of land for your dog to exercise (also fenced off) and have fun. If you need boarding but your dog does not get along with others, l can still provide that as we have a large RV and a little air bnb cabin where I can stay with your pup or cat :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Flicksville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Flicksville.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Flicksville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
