About: Hi! My name is Katie, and I work full-time as a veterinary assistant. Caring for animals is both my career and my passion. Through my experience in veterinary medicine, I am comfortable working with pets of all ages, including seniors, puppies and kittens, and pets with special needs. I ensure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes or potty breaks, and plenty of attention, playtime, and comfort based on each pet’s personality and needs. With my veterinary assistant experience, I am comfortable providing additional care such as administering oral medications, monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health, and giving extra support to senior or anxious pets. I also offer services including dog walking, nail trims, and bathing when needed. I have house sat for several pets over the years as well as checked in, walked, and played with to ensure enrichment and that they don't get lonely! I have a very flexible schedule and am available at most hours of the day and just about any day of the week, to check in on your furbaby! In my home, my dogs are my world. They are played with and walked each day, they have a structured diet, and they are ALWAYS allowed to snuggle on the couch (although I respect if this is not the case in your home)! I greet my dogs and other pets with love and joy. I ensure water is always available, and that they have access to the window so that they can watch outside while I am away. About: I’ve grew up on a horse farm where my parents also breed and raised Rottweilers growing up! I have been around animals of all sizes from before I can remember. I also have years of experience taking care of all types and sizes of animals due to this, from tiny teacup chihuahuas to gentle giants! Given plenty of baths, special feedings and followed strict schedules! I recently lost my 9 year old great dane and am missing a companion around dearly. Looking for some cool pups to make friends with who are in need of some company to! I currently am a stay at home momma myself! I tend to just mosey around the house and take walks to the park right next door with the kiddos nowadays. I have complete open availability, with lots of space in and out of my home to accommodate for your fur baby. I enjoy animals company more than people most days so if your fur baby needs a friend, let get together! I have a secure large fenced in yard. Although i am still happy to take them on daily walks. Also i love rewarding them with some of their favorite treats, so please bring theirs! Crates are welcome if needed, not necessarily however, I plan to be very attentive. With over night stays if they are normally crated, I do ask you bring theirs so they can be comfortable. My home is open and clean, they are more than welcome to play in or the yard as well. Bring their favorite toys/ ropes or balls so we can enjoy all our time in or outside the house.
