We were pretty nervous about leaving Reina since she’s a rescue and can be a little anxious around new people, but Jacob immediately put us at ease. He took the time to meet with us beforehand, asked thoughtful questions, and even took notes about Reina’s routine, what she likes, and her do’s and don’ts. It was obvious he genuinely cared about making her feel comfortable. While we were away, he kept us updated with plenty of pictures and communicated with us consistently, which made a huge difference and allowed us to actually relax on our trip. About: I truly love animals, and have some training background. I always had my own personal dogs, until recently, so I am open to caring for yours. Your animals will be well taken care of, and I will provide consistencies they are use to at home upon request. I work from home 4 days a week, but my mom who works from home is home daily. Animals are never unsupervised! I get home around 5pm when I go into work. I walk dogs as much needed and have necessary needs provided in house (leash, bowls, mid size cage, brush, yard, etc). No worries if certain materials run out or are not provided.

About: My husband and I both love animals and have grown up with them all of our lives! We both work remotely and have been watching family and friends pets while on vacation or out of town for the last year or so! We have an acre lot (not fenced in) but plenty of room for us to play and walk around during the day. Help get them zoomies out :) We don’t currently have any pets, so we would enjoy have the company during the workday! We both work remotely and can take care of your pets around the clock. We mostly stay at home with our 2 year old, so available most weekends as well! We have a large (unfenced) yard where we can both go outside and play! About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I also have a back yard with a lead allowing your dog to run around without being hand held on a leash for every potty break. I also enjoy to walk the dogs around the complex, as they get “new information” and excitement from smelling new experiences around them.

We don't allow dogs on furniture but cover the furniture for animals trained that way to reduce stress on trying to keep them down. In your home, routine is maintained and extra treats given, time outside is always encouraged for high energy and down time is enforced when bad behavior is being modified

About: I have taken care of and been around animals for as long as I can remember. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to take care of, feed, and play with their pets. I have been on rover since the beginning of June 2025 and have had many successful stays with multiple clients and their wonderful pets! Her setup is on a large piece of land that has clearly been customized specifically for pets. There are multiple fenced-in areas where dogs can safely run freely, and it gave me a lot of peace knowing my dog had space, structure, and proper care. Her communication could not have been better. Every time I texted her, she responded within minutes and fully addressed whatever concern I had. I also noticed a real difference in my dog after coming home. Before the stay, my dog would just come up to me and act excited when she needed to go outside. Now she actually cries to be let out, which is much easier to understand. She also seems to pull a lot less when I take her outside, so it honestly feels like some obedience training happened during the stay too. The kennel is climate controlled, the property is very well set up, and Kristen clearly cares about the dogs she watches. She even gave my dog special treats like pup cups with peanut butter and whipped cream. I was honestly worried my dog might not want to come home. If you want to leave your dog somewhere and not have to worry the whole time, this is the place.”

About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was born. Our family had pets ranging from cats and dogs to pigs and horses. I worked at a family vet clinic that gave me skills with animals and knowledge of when they just aren't feeling right and contacts of who to call. I also have pet sat for friends and family for 8 years. Your pet will become my own when I pet sit. They will be spoiled and loved and I am very good at following directions exactly. I am blessed to have a very flexible schedule and am able to fit pet care in when needed. I myself currently have one cat and dog who I care for and spoil at home. However they have other family members who step up when I am needed elsewhere. I do not offer care in my home as I have a small apartment and pets of my own. However I make sure to build trust and create a safe and loving environment whenever I enter another's home.
