I’m an East Tennessee native in my early 30s, and since I was born I have always had animals in my home- and usually a couple outside too! I’m most comfortable with cats, dogs, and poultry but I also have experience caring for fish, livestock, reptiles, and rodents and I’m absolutely open to learning anything new for you. I felt very comfortable leaving our home and pets in their care, and they did a great job when they came. We have a dog, cats, bunnies, chickens, ducks, baby turkeys and rabbits, and all of the animals were clean, well fed, and happy upon our return. Megan and Abby gave us updates while we were away, and it was clear they really cared and took their responsibilities seriously - our dog was very sad to see them go! They also took wonderful care of our house, and it was clean and orderly when we came home. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with our experience, thanks so much Megan and Abby!! Best of luck on your next adventure! Emily Roanoke, VA 17 Sep - 19 Sep 2021 Megan was a great house and pet sitter for our two dogs. She was very easy to communicate with and to make plans with. She updated me throughout the weekend to let me know how the dogs were doing. One of our dogs had gotten sick a few days before she arrived so she took special care to keep a close eye on him and make sure he was doing okay which I really appreciated. The house was also spotless when we got home and the dogs seemed very content and happy so I could tell they had been well cared for. I would welcome Megan back any time and definitely recommend her for your sitting needs! 22 Nov - 25 Nov 2023 This is the second time Megan has sat for us, and we were thrilled to have her back with Abby for another visit! Megan is so responsive and easy to coordinate plans with. We were so glad they were able to stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday and take great care of our two dogs while we were with family. They kept us updated every day and the dogs seemed very happy and content when we got home so I could tell they were well taken care of and got lots of love. She was my top performing manager and met every deadline that was given to her; inventory counts, scheduling needs, and time goals, ect. As a General Manager I have meetings and conferences along with vacations that have me out of town and Megan is the person I contact. I allowe her to stay in my home and in return she takes care of my two dogs, (German Shepard and Australian Shepard) Cleans the house, and alerts me of any thing that I need to know of. I have never felt like I had a need to lock up or hide any of my possessions because Megan really is the most trustworthy and reliable person I know. I have given her a key of her own to keep in case of any emergency. She lived with me at one point as well and she was always early with payments and most of the time I didn't even know she was there. About: Not only have I taken care of dogs for a family vet since I was 9, I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility for years! I’ve taken dogs on countless walks, playdates, and even administered medication and provided first aid. Your pup is loved and cared for in my hands! I currently attend ETSU full time, with many gaps between my classes. I am available pretty much all day, every day, with the exception of a few one-hour classes! I come prepared to visit your pup! I let them approach me at their own speed, pace their walk how they please, and observe their body language and adjust accordingly! About: I have been trusted to take care of my sister’s service dog and her other large dog. They are both high activity and need lots of attention! I will provide lots of outdoor exercise. I am currently working remotely, so I can devote a lot of time to pet care. It will be very easy for me to adjust my schedule. About: Animals have always been a vital part of my life. I currently live with 2 dogs( an Australian Cattle Dog and a Yorkie), 5 cats, a bearded dragon, 2 dart frogs and 4 fire bellied toads. I have owned special needs dogs and cats and am empathetic and understanding of the responsibility that come with that. I have worked with dogs and cats off all sizes, temperaments and backgrounds in animal shelters and veterinary hospitals. I am comfortable with making sure your pet receives any routine medication that he/she may need while under my care. Specialized diets are not a problem either. Your pets safety and health and your peace of mind is my top priority. Anything that I am capable of doing to help you and your pet I will I have very flexible availability this summer. My optimal time for check ins would be in the morning and early evenings. I am willing to work with what works best for your pet. I can give any required medication or supplements. I will spend my time playing or cuddling with your pet. I will play fetch with your dog if you have a fenced in yard and walk leash trained dogs. If you have a cat I will play with them or cuddle them, or just enjoy their company. Different pets have different needs and preferences for affection and play, I will follow their lead and not push them or make them uncomfortable. When introducing myself I will go slowly and let your pet guide that interaction. I speak to animals kindly and softly and handle and pet them gently.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have cared for four dogs of different ages, breeds, and sizes. I currently have an 8-year-old mutt named Tucker who is incredibly sweet. Tucker previously went through heartworm treatment, so I have experience following medication schedules and giving medication as directed. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, basic grooming, and giving pets plenty of attention. I’ve also owned and cared for parrots, iguanas, lizards, hamsters, and many other animals. I genuinely love animals and will treat every pet like one of my own. I’m currently in college and only have about three hours of class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m available throughout most of the week for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and spending quality time with your pets. My apartment is very pet-friendly and comfortable, with plenty of places for dogs to relax. I even have a couch specifically for dogs, along with a dog bed and other cozy spots throughout the apartment. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re with me, and I’m happy to follow any routines or special instructions you provide.
