About: We lost our last little guy in February 2024. It’s the first time in 35+ years without at least one dog under the same roof, and it’s felt like something essential is missing. I have such a love for dogs, and would love to pass that on to yours while you have to be away from them. That’s my main reason for being a Rover Sitter. I’m semi-retired and work from home, so your dog(s) will get my full attention. Your dog(s) will get care, love, playtime and exercise. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. If you've got a senior, I am very experienced in that care, whether simple TLC, boosts when standing, meds, multiple bathroom breaks, etc. Our dogs were allowed on the furniture, and slept on the bed with us; I respect and will follow your rules for that, though. For those who like to sleep in their own "den," I have a lot of experience with crate training also. I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first visit to make sure everybody's comfortable -- both canine and human. Photos and updates are happily available while you're away. I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I can sit with your dog(s) any day of the week and/or weekend. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. “Madison is the best—excellent communication, dependable, trustworthy. I have an elderly cat who doesn’t like 99% of people, but my cat let Madison pet and brush her, which is astonishing to me! I am so grateful I found Madison and would 100% recommend her to help watch your fur babes!”

“We’re so grateful to have found Erika! From our very first meet and greet, she was warm, knowledgeable, and instantly connected with both of our labs. Finn (our 10-week-old puppy) and Riley (our 6-year-old). Erika’s background in animal care is clear in how she handles every interaction, and her deep understanding of dog behavior puts us completely at ease. She has now visited our home multiple times and has been incredibly accommodating as my husband and I adjust to our new work schedules. Erika consistently goes the extra mile to ensure both dogs are comfortable, safe, and well cared for. It’s clear she truly loves what she does, and our pups love her right back. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Lisa did an amazing job caring for all my animals with all their specific needs. I was able to go on vacation for the first time in years and knew they were in good hands. She kept me informed and sent wonderful pictures! She is an amazing lady! Thank you so much Lisa for all your help :)”

“Giselle was wonderful with the pups and took extra special care of our 13yr dog who had mobility issues and needs medications multiple times per day. We would 100% recommend her to anyone in need of pet care!!!”

About: As a passionate pet lover, I can assure you that your pets are in great hands. If your pets appreciate special love and attention then you have reached the right person. I have grown up with pets and have had a pet throughout most of my life, so pet care comes naturally. I have cared for puppies to senior dogs and I love them all. If your pet requires walks and playtime I am more than happy to offer that and more. I have an incredible passion for pets so love and care will be what they will receive. I retired a few months ago, so I am available for pet care 7 days a week for as many daily visits as would be needed. Overnight stays at your home or mine can be an option. Prior to my retirement, I was able to pet sit part-time. Now I am available and excited to be able to help more people with their pet care needs on a full-time basis. In your home, your pet will have the same loving care that you give them. But beware, they may get a little extra spoiled under my care.

“My first experience on this app was a fantastic one! Margaret was very communicative and I had such peace of mind leaving my cat in her care while I was on my trip. She followed all the instructions perfectly and sent the cutest pictures. Everything was left in the condition she found it and I have zero complaints. I highly recommend her and would use her again without hesitation.”

About: I’ve been a life-long animal lover and pet caretaker for my own furry family members and others as well. I’ve cared for small cats and dogs up to 100+ pound doggos. If your pet needs to be picked up or carried that’s no issue for me! I own and operate a business that allows me a lot of flexibility and free time so I can care for my pets and yours almost any time. My 3 dogs are my family. We share living spaces, eating spaces and napping spaces! I love sharing car rides with them and taking them on walks with the family.

“Katlyn did a great job taking care of our 3 cats while we were gone. They got love and attention, and even our stand-offish adopted stray came up to her for pets and pictures. Katlyn was thorough and professional, will definitely contact her in the future to look after our fur-babies.”

About: I have had animals my entire life, I’ve had little dogs and big dogs! I currently have 5 dogs, goats, chickens, pigs and three horses! I’m very comfortable with all animals. I’m flexible with what you need done, and I am comfortable giving medication if needed. I am a stay at home mom to a sweet 4 month old, but occasionally work as a hospice nurse. I am available any time I’m not working! I will treat your fur babies the way I would want mine treated and loved. I have hired people to take care of my animals plenty of times, and I know the trust it takes.

About: I've never not had pets in my life. I've had one dog - a jack russel terrier who lived to be an old man of 16. I used to volunteer at PAWS Animal Shelter as a dog walker, so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. I love getting to know a new dog and seeing their distinct personalities shine through. I'm currently working Tues-Sat 3-10pm, so I am available for morning or late night check-ins and Sunday/Monday day long care. I can be pretty flexible, so feel free to reach out and see if we can work something out that works for you. I cannot currently take pets into my home, but I am comfortable following whatever routine your pet is used to. The more details you can leave me, the better. I want my care to be as seamless and stress-free for your pet as possible.

About: I was a proud pet parent of a beautiful rescue puppy named, Rylee. We adopted her from the animal shelter when she was 6 weeks old, and gave her a wonderful life for over 13 years. Sadly, she passed away. While I do not have a dog of my own, at the present time, I have lots of love and attention to share with your dog! I am very patient and loving and would treat your pets as I would my very own. I am a recent retiree. My availability is negotiable and I would try to work with your needs, but would primarily be available from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m, Monday - Friday. I am available to come to your home to visit with your pets, and to feed and walk them. I will take the time to earn your dog's trust and will do everything possible to keep them safe.
