About: One of my best friends in the whole world is my 19-year-old kitty! I love him with all of my heart and I hope to be able to show your pets the same care and attention. Here are some of my skills and experiences: SKILLS: -giving subcutaneous injections to dogs and cats EXPERIENCES: -I have taken care of three cats for 2 months for a musician who went away on tour -I volunteered at a vet clinic 4-8 hours a week for 2 years -I have experience rehabilitating wild songbirds -My sister is also a pet sitter on Rover in Sacramento! I have helped her with a few of her gigs, so I have experience walking, feeding, and playing with dogs. About: I've had a love and passion for animals since I was a child. I adopted my first pet in 2014. A beautiful female Queensland Heeler and American Pitbull mix named Sadie. She has been my service animal for over 5 years. I began my pet care career as a pet shelter assistant. A few years later, I became a Grooming Salon Assistant and have been grooming every since. I have knowledge of most breeds and am comfortable working with any sized dog, any temperament. I have also worked as a Kennel Assistant in a Veterinary office. I learned the in and outs of boarding, administering medications, and making sure all pets get adequate care. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! I'm currently working part time but need extra money as I don't have enough hours. I have a fairly flexible schedule and can work out overnight stays. While caring for pets, I greet them and make sure they're comfortable with me. I like to offer treats and take the time to have them trust in me. I ensure all food bowls and water bowls are filled. I take them out for potty and walks every 2-4 hours. I ensure they get adequate play time, whether inside or outside. Give them lots of love and attention ☺️ All while abiding by your care rules, ie training, medications, etc.
About: I have worked for boarding facilities before, one that had no kennels and one that did. I have had lots of experience taking care of dogs and cats, giving oral medications, and watching them during the day to day. I love animals and always think of them as a part of your family. I am available everyday except for Tuesday's and Thursday's. As long as I have two days notice I have no issue doing check-ins, walks, or watching your furry friends with whatever schedule works best! Due to my previous experience with boarding facilities, I am well trained to follow instructions left by owners. Whatever schedule my clients have I will adapt to and perform, so that their pet won’t get confused or distressed by the change in schedule. I make sure to give special love and attention to each and every pet I care for.
About: I've taken care of cats for 30 years and have always loved all Animals, even those that many are scared of. I take the care of Pets very seriously to ensure they are always safe, comfortable, and happy. It's a tailored experience because no two Animals are alike. I currently have a very flexible work schedule and can easily check in on Cats throughout the day, 7 days a week. I do not travel during holidays, I stay home with my own Cat and Dog so I am available for all the major and minor holidays. I do have my own Cat and Dog but I would not bring either on trips to care for a Client's Cat. About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience and a genuine bond with dogs. While I haven’t worked as a professional dog sitter before, I’ve been caring for dogs since I was seven years old. I’m now 32, and throughout my life, I’ve had a Maltese, an English Setter, and a Gordon Setter. My setters were hunting dogs, so I’m comfortable with energetic, intelligent breeds that need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’ve trained them in basic obedience, manners, and recall, and I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and clear boundaries. I’ve cared for both small and large dogs, and I’m experienced with feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved. I can also teach simple commands and fun tricks like sit, stay, lie down, roll over, spin, and shake. I am a Spanish woman who moved to Folsom with my husband a year ago. I am a great animal lover and I have had dogs since I was little. In my childhood, I lived with two setters: an English setter and a Gordon setter, and a Maltese bichon. This has given me experience with both large and small dogs. Now, although we cannot have one of our own, I would love to care for others, as I greatly enjoy their company. My daily routine is flexible, and I have full availability to adapt to the needs of clients and their pets. I fully adapt to each pet’s needs. I am very attentive and will always ensure the dog has food, water, and is comfortable. If I notice something is wrong, I address it immediately. I handle walks carefully, avoiding direct sun, and if bathing is needed, I do so with experience, using proper shampoos and conditioners, especially for long coats. I can also brush them. If a vet visit is required, I will take care of it. Additionally, I love playing with dogs and making sure they feel calm and happy when their owners are away. In short, I handle all the care a dog needs with attention and affection.

About: It is very difficult for me to have animals in my current situation so I am looking forward to this work as an opportunity to make friends with animals that I would not get to experience normally. I am really looking forward to it. Thank you. I am retired and partially disabled so I don’t have a work routine and so I’m available seven days a week. This will be fun! I am very respectful of other people spaces and I’m happy to offer full cleanup services for any accidents or other things that might happen while I’m there.

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
