About: I started my pet setting journey pet sitting farm animals, dogs, and a potbelly pig. Next I watched family and friends dogs of all sizes. I have experience at working at a dog daycare and boarding. At this job I fed, cleaned, and was a daycare leader (daycare groups include: 20 large dogs per person or 40 small dogs per person). I also volunteer for a dog rescue in which I also feed, cleaned kennels, did vet transport, and have helped with adoptions. I have 3 dogs of my own. Tia, Smokey, and Jimmy! About: Hi there! 🐾 thanks for stopping by my profile! I grew up in Fishers and recently moved back after graduating from Purdue Engineering to start my career. Outside of work, I’m happiest spending time at home with my dog, hanging out with family, getting lost in a good book, or working on a crochet or sewing project. My love for dogs started when my family got our first dog, Buddy, when I was seven, and it’s been a big part of my life ever since. Over the years, my family welcomed Timber and Carly, and I adopted my own dog, Meadow, while I was in college. I’ve had the joy of being involved in raising and caring for all of them, and I’ve always loved getting to know each dog’s unique personality. A lot of my experience comes from being hands-on with their everyday care, including training, grooming, nail trims, and all the little things that go into keeping a dog happy and healthy. My family’s dog Timber also has a disability, which has given me experience with providing extra care, being patient, and adapting to a dog’s individual needs. I’ve also worked professionally with dogs as a Day Camp Counselor at 4-Paws Lodge in Fishers, Indiana, where I spent the summer caring for pups, keeping them entertained, and making sure they were safe and happy. I am very experienced in feeding, giving pills, taking pets outside, etc. I have worked at Fishers Veterinary Hospital for a little under a year now as part of the patient care team. I am heading off to IU in the fall to major in Biology with a Pre-Vet track. I would love to help care for your pets! Our larger yard is not gated, but our current dog is trained to stay within its boundaries using an invisible fence. While I do not have any professional dog experience, I’ve had dog in my family since the day I was born and had owned my own dog for about 10 years until she recently passed away. I like to watch TV with pets and take them outside. I used to own bunnies and would make them little salads. I also know how to give medications to dogs as well!
