“Lovey & Louie enjoyed another great stay with Joe & Celeste and their babies! Thank you for taking such great care of our babies! We appreciate you guys and they will see you again!”

“Luciana and her husband are the absolute best! They are so caring and keep you updated, so no worrying about your pups. I would recommend them 1000x to anyone in the area in need of a sitter. We will be using them again!”

“Jennifer and Matthew were very flexible, accommodating, and personable. They really make your animals feel like they are on vacation. We boarded our dogs with them and knew they were in good hands! Thank you for treating our dogs like your own.”

“Maria is very attentive and professional in her care of dogs. Our little Westie was very happy there. Maria made sure all dogs were carefully supervised when meeting each other, which I thought was really important, especially seeing she is so small. We'll be booking with Maria again!”

“She was so awesome! My dog ended up having to stay longer because the hotel that we stayed at wouldn't take dogs. Skyla was very accommodating. 5 star ask day highly recommend she text me every day with updates abs pictures of my dog.”
About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was surrounded by all kinds of pets—from dogs and cats to hamsters and rats—and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I’ve also had the opportunity to foster kittens and gain hands-on experience with a variety of pets. My mom was a veterinary technician for 30 years, so I grew up learning a lot about animal care, behavior, and what it means to keep pets happy and healthy. At 18, I started my own pet-sitting business back home in Connecticut. When I moved out of state, I left the business behind, but I’ve always wanted to get back into pet sitting—and now feels like the perfect time! I currently have two cats and two ball pythons of my own. My schedule is also very flexible right now, which means I’m able to give your pets plenty of time, attention, and care. My time spent with your pets will involve lots of love and cuddles, walks and playtime, as well as treats as appropriate. I also have experience with administering medications to pets, so if this is something you need assistance with just let me know! I know how much our pets mean to us, and I’ll treat yours like they’re part of my own family. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry (or scaly!) family members! 🐾 I'm currently in between jobs and looking for something part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your babies, whether that be drop-ins or boarding. If needed, I have a dog crate at home for the safety of your pet while I am not at home. I have a 3 bedroom home in a peaceful community in Conway.
“Cyrus was wonderful with our 2 pitt mixes. Milo is very skittish around new people, but he was immediately at ease with Cyrus. He treated them like his own and we will 100% be booking with him again the next time we need to leave them. You can be sure your dogs are safe and loved with Cyrus!!”

“This was my first time ever having to leave a baby behind on vacation and I’m too happy Darlene accepted my request. My baby whom was never away from home or us, adjusted well slowly but they gained his trust. She continued to update me about him throughout the day with pictures included! Thank you again!”

“Absolutely fantastic service, can't say enough good things about Jodi and her boarding services! She went above and beyond to make my pup comfortable as well as sending me regular photos of her playing to put me at ease. Thank you Jodi, for sure highly recommend and will use her services again and again!”

“Very good with Benny. Kept me updated on him. Sent me photos throughout his stay. He was well taken care of💚 Would 10/10 recommend. 💯 Im Definitely using Charles & his lovely wife.💚 Thank you so much!🫶🏽”

“Craig has cared for my standard poodle Amelia a few times now, most recently this June. She always comes home happy. He takes excellent care of her and I will always request him when I need to leave her when I travel. He communicates how she is doing, sends the most wonderful pictures of her on a regular basis. He is a gem. I am grateful that I found him.”

“Katelyn took very good care of my boy Bruno. She sent lots of pictures and was in contact with me everyday he was there. Will definitely leave my dog with her again.”

“Maddie was amazing with our boy Banks. Hey did Grainger was a great bud for Banks to play with. Maddie provided restart updates and videos so we didn't have to worry about how things were going. Highly recommend!!!”

“Amy was great with our dog, Charlie. He suffers from separation anxiety which seems to be getting worse. He wasn't doing well at all in the hotel room so we decided to try a sitter. He was restless his first day, but that was to be expected. By day 2 he was having a great time with her pups! She saved our vacation and Charlie got to have play dates. Win win! Thanks again Amy!”

“This was our first time to have Donna watch our dog. We definitely will use her again. Our dog, Pawley, had his own summer vacation while we were gone. We received daily updates with videos and photos. You can tell that Donna and her husband love dogs!”

“Jaelyn is one of my favorite Rover sitters that I’ve encountered so far. I’m so happy that Jaelyn and (and friends,) and my pup Shady, all seemed to be such a great fit for each other. I could tell through the many messages and awesome photos I received, that Shady was getting so much love. He has been so worn out this evening after spending his wonderful weekend adventures with Jaelyn.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Finklea home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Finklea.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Finklea sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
