“My wife and I couldn't be happier for the attention and care Anita gave our doggie, Doodles. She was always on time, sent pics and responded quickly to any questions we had. We highly recommend Anita, she's the best. Doodles says, woof, woof ( I agree)! We will definitely use her again. Thanks Rover”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve been pet sitting independently for several years, caring for dogs in their own homes where they feel safest and most comfortable. I understand how important it is for pet parents to have someone reliable and loving looking after their pets while they’re away. In addition to my personal pet sitting experience, my family and I have helped care for foster dogs for local rescue organizations, which gave me experience with dogs of different ages, temperaments, and special needs. From energetic pups to shy or anxious dogs, I’ve learned how to be patient, attentive, and calm so pets feel secure. When caring for your pets, I focus on: • Keeping their routine consistent • Giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise • Making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. Your pets will be treated like family while you’re away. 🐶🐱 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I schedule my day to allow consistent, unrushed visits so your pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they’re used to. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pets are happy and safe while you’re away. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow all care instructions, keep the home secure, and make sure pets are always safe and supervised. I also send updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
“Savannah is a reliable pet sitter who was there for my cats in an emergency situation where I could not fly back from a work trip on schedule. I appreciate her attention to detail, prompt responses, and willingness to reach out if she noticed anything unusual. Definitely recommend her!”

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes as well as 9 years professionally training dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and temperaments. I train basic and advanced obedience, working dogs, service animals and more. I am confident and comfortable caring for dogs that otherwise might be difficult for others without experience in the behavioral field, while keeping safety at the forefront of every interaction. Additionally, I have 5 years of vet tech experience, giving me the ability and willingness to care for pets with medical problems, senior pets, pets requiring medication or pets with special needs. I have owned and cared for farm animals for much of my teenage and adult life, allowing me to offer care for pets outside of the home such as bovine, horses, goats, pigs and chickens. I am comfortable with birds, reptiles and exotic pets, having raised rabbits most of my life as well as owning guinea pigs, snakes, sugar gliders and a quaker parrot. I am CPR certified and have attended several emergency care courses for cats and dogs. My passion has led me to providing pet care and dog training services full-time, allowing for me to provide services for you and your pets year-round! I provide pet care and training services full time, year-round! I am available for last minute requests and can handle care for pets with special needs or behavioral problems- keeping safety for both parties as a priority. I am situated on 4 acres in Loris. I am set up to care for dogs of different temperaments and preferences and have multiple fenced in yards to allow for play times and potty times in small groups or individually as needed. In the summertime, morning bathroom breaks are longer to allow for plenty of playtime before it gets too hot outside. I provide at LEAST 4 bathroom breaks throughout the day. During peak heat hours, outside breaks are shorter but indoor play is prioritized. Once things cool off in the evening, I provide another longer playtime outside. Not every dog cares for or does well with other dogs so temperament testing will be done before they are free to play with the others. All dogs are supervised when out at all times. Dogs in my home will be kenneled for bedtime or if I need to run a short errand (groceries, doctor appointment, private training lesson with a client, etc.) Care in the client's home will be discussed before the job starts. Everybody has different preferences and I strive to provide the best care possible for pets while owners are away!
About: I’ve always taken care of our pets whether it was my dog, cat, or others. I have been in-house sitting two dogs for family friends for some time now and would like to expand. I have always had taken care of my pets and currently have a dog, two cats, and many other animals. I help ensure that all animals are taken care of and thriving. I also try my best to take my dog on rides at least once a month to get him out of the house. I do online classes in the evening after work so I’m able to provide care for them as they need it. I made sure that all animals are well fed and have a comfortable, clean environment. My close family friends spoil their dogs and I definitely try my best to make sure I continue their lavish lifestyle by giving them treats, playing with them, and even having them sleep with me. I am more than willing to adapt to each companions quirks and lifestyle.

About: Looking for that small dog environment? I will only take in small dogs under 20 pounds. I am very caring and passionate and have owned dogs my whole life. As a pet parent myself, I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet when you are away. In my home, your pet will be treated just like family with endless amounts of love, attention, protection and fun. Skip the kennel time and breathe easy knowing that your pup will be in the best hands and have a home away from home! Each pup deserves around the clock human interaction and since I am retired it allows me to be home during the day and provide the care and attention for my guests. I will provide updates each day along with multiple photos. The amount of updates will be based on your preference. To ensure the safety of my pup guests, I only allow up to 2 clients per stay and no dogs larger than "20" lbs. I do not accept dogs with aggressive tendencies nor dogs that are not potty trained. All guests must agree to do a Meet and Greet to ensure they get along with mine as well as other dogs if applicable.

About: I have 3 very spoiled large dogs! I used to breed Heelers, so I have experience with pregnant dogs and even delivering puppies. I usually just take care of the yorkies that my family members have here, but I figured I could go ahead and expand. I currently use rover when I go out of town, so I know how I expect my dogs to be taken care of and I will be just as great to your pets! I also have experience with farm animals too. I used to have a small farm with cows, pigs, sheep, goats and chickens. So if you have any additional needs we can discuss it! I also have experience with cats too! I work for the schools, so I am currently off for the summer. My availability is very open until the middle of August! I would say my daily availability is from 6am-11pm unless you book me for over night. I will take care of your pets exactly how you would like. I know how stressful it can be on pets when their owners are away so they will be extra loved on!
About: Beyond the care for my own personal doggies, I have 5 years of experience working at a premier doggy day care and boarding facility, Camp Bow Wow. Here, I cared for many dogs at once all varying in breeds, size and ages. I was responsible for supervising play time, feeding, administering medications, basic grooming and cleaning. I have also had experience with my own personal pet care boarding service out of my home where I have mostly cared for dogs in my home but have house/farm sat for clients. I'm currently in veterinary school so my schedule can be sparse at times. I am available on the weekends as well as Wednesday mornings with the potential for some afternoon care the rest of the week days. I care for others pets just as I would my own. When I care for pets in their own home, I love and care for them just as I would mine and uphold any special request the owners leave for me. I like to send photos and precise updates to owners while caring for their pets. I can relate to the desire to hear from a pet sitter since I have my own!
“Debra is terrific! She has taken fantastic care of our cat on multiple occasions and watched over our house while we were away. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting with no reservations. Excellent sitter and wonderful person.”

“Marie took such great care of our boy Ernie. Made us feel comfortable and treated him like family. She went above and beyond. Great communication as well. We could not have asked for anyone better. She is truly amazing!”

With experience caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors, I understand that each pet has unique needs. I’m patient, attentive, and trained in basic obedience techniques, making me especially skilled with energetic pups or pets needing a little extra guidance. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—it doesn’t feel like a task, it feels like time well spent. I stick to each pet’s routine as closely as possible—whether it’s feeding times, walks, medication, or cuddle sessions. I never leave pets unattended for long periods, and I make sure they get both mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. About: I have life long experience with caring for different types of animals. My most experience comes from dogs (all sizes), cats, guinea pigs, and rats etc. I have experience pet sitting in particular for about 3 years now for family, friends, and others. I have personally cared for puppies/kittens, adults, and seniors. From bottle feeding all the way to the last moments. I currently work a full time job as a loan specialist between the hours 6AM-2:30PM during the week. I have lots of evening time and the weekends to take care of my own pets (feeding, walking, playing, going on trips) and would love to add others to my schedule for those that need or want some extra support. My care varies depending on the pet, their routine, behaviors, and owners preferences. I follow the guidelines and particular care of each animal to the owners interest and knowledge of their pet. Whether that be my friends dog who has to be crated with his one specific toy and his own radio turned to the gospel station to another owner’s instructions that their cats will only eat if you snap your fingers and say “supper time!”

As of June 2026, there are 7 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Finklea. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
