About: What sets me apart is my experience caring for animals who need a little extra patience, attention, and understanding. I have experience working with older dogs and sick animals, which has taught me how important it is to pay attention to the little things and recognize when a pet may not be feeling their best. I understand that every animal has different needs, routines, and personalities, and I’m happy to adjust my care to make them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or older and needs a slower pace, I’ll treat them with the same care and compassion I would want for my own pets. Pet care fits easily into my schedule because I currently work only about 10 hours a week, giving me plenty of flexibility to dedicate time to your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and other care needs, and I can work with your pet’s routine and schedule. Having a flexible schedule also means I can give your pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve rather than rushing through a visit. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping them comfortable by maintaining their normal routines as much as possible. I follow their feeding, medication, walking, and care instructions closely while giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I also treat every home with the same respect and care I would expect for my own, keeping things clean and secure. Most importantly, I communicate with owners throughout the stay and provide updates so they can feel confident that their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

“Ginger is the best dog sitter we have ever used! Even before arriving, she texted us to let us know that she would be at our rental house an hour before requested to get familiar with our dogs. We have two young rescue dogs who love to play and can be rambunctious and Ginger was loving and gentle with them. She sent pictures each day and also texted to let us know how they were doing. Ginger followed every directive we left and went above and beyond by washing their dishes and toys each day. In addition to taking excellent care of the house and the dogs, Ginger also became our travel agent during our stay and gave us fabulous suggestions on places to visit from Asheville to Cades Cove. One day, we were a little late getting back because we went to one of her suggested sites and I texted her to apologize but Ginger immediately texted me back and said not to worry but to enjoy ourselves. She is a true professional and an incredibly caring person. When we return, Ginger is the only person I trust to watch my fur babies.”

I am highly experienced with taking care of senior dogs and cats, very patient with puppies and kittens, and highly attentive to any needs your pet may have. I currently run an apothecary and crafts business from home with my girlfriend, and spend 1-2 nights a week playing music with friends. I am home most of the time and can spend most of the day caring for animals, I currently have a senior cat who requires lots of attention so cuddles are always available. I prioritize safety and trust in any environment I’m in for taking care of your pets. In clients houses, I stick to the pets schedule best I can to keep them stress free. I keep my own home pet proofed and always prioritize a clean and calming environment. I am always available to supervise your pets and love to nourish them with as much play time and walks as they need. I have a local dog park in the community, as well as a dog park with a lake nearby that dogs may swim in during the summer, which I love to bring them to. I also have a secure cat stroller for any adventurous cats who can easily be scared outdoors by dogs or other animals, which I love to take them for short walks in as long as they are comfortable.

About: Growing up I’ve always owned dogs and I love taking care of my own dog who has high needs. I love walking dogs and always enjoy seeing new dogs roaming about. I have a very open schedule, and that is why I was ready to start with Rover to kind of control my own scheduling. My week is open for plenty of dog walks or dropping visits for pets. I am excited to start working with you. I have one dog and two cats. I walk my dog at least five times a day. She is a terrier and needs extra exercise. I have two cats who are indoor. I change their litter box weekly and scoop it daily. Keeping a good hygiene for cats is extremely important for your home so I value that very much. My pets names are Oreo for my dog Millie and pumpkin on my cats.

About: Hey all, I’m currently an animal care professional at an animal hospital handling boarding and some grooming and I’m currently in grooming school, I’m beginning to take clients of my own if interested! I’ve worked with sheltered animals, horses, livestock and strays my whole life. I’ve fully potty trained several dogs including my 8 year old abuse rescue becky, I love grooming in my free time and am training to become an apprentice groomer. Animals are my passion and I can guarantee that your furry loved one will thrive with me around. I’m currently working full time and also in grooming school. So currently I’m free on weekends and whenever my shifts change weekly. I can do overnights on weekends normally I offer lots of social engagement with pets during house visits. I spend a lot of time working with dogs to understand their behavior and what if any anxieties they might be facing so I can calm them down and engage them in stimulating activities that help them relax and sleep well, or get out extra pent up energy

The pups were having the best time and were so happy in every update photo we received.
