About: We enjoy having a dog. We do walks, sniff games, chicken broth ice cubes for happy hour in our fenced in yard. We want your dog to feel like they are on vacation when they are with us. They might be spoiled when we give them back. Sorry about that. My husband is fully retired and I have a hybrid position. At least one person will be home to attend to your fur babies needs. We enjoy taking care of a dog. There are no children or pets in our non smoking home. We have a fenced in yard and a nice neighborhood for taking walks. We also have an Apple air tag to put on your dogs collar. We enjoy being outside with your dog in the yard.

I have 20 years experience pet sitting for neighbors and I have my own 6 year old pitbull, Cleo, so I’m no stranger to energetic dogs. I’m a teacher, so my summers give me full flexibility to care for your animals! I love to walk dogs on local greenways and trails. SCHOOL YEAR UPDATE: I’m still happy to provide boarding, walking, and drop in visits outside of school hours. I am unable to be home or care for pets from 7am-3pm each day. If your dog can be left for 8 hours, boarding continues to be available during the school year. I have a fenced in backyard where your dog can play. If they like to play with a buddy, my dog will be their best friend!
“My dog Jimmy has been going for a week now (4 days so far) and can not imagine taking him to anyone else. The setting is better than his last daycare which was too big and he was getting overly anxious. Karlie cares for another dog and has two of her own plus a cat so the place is calmer than the last one. Karlie and her family are all very nice and seem to like having Jimmy there. I will take him back whenever I require daycare for him. I just wish I was not moving out of the area soon and will no longer be able to take him there. At least we found Karlie at the end of our time in Vinton.”
About: I’ve grown up with many cats and dogs and have also taken care of many family members pets for many years! And I currently work at a doggy daycare which has taught me a lot about different dog behaviors and how to handle them! My schedule is usually three days a week for about 4 hours most days but some days it will be 6 hours! I will follow any given instructions to keep your pet safe and happy! I worked at the Virginia Tech Dairy, milking cows and feeding calves, during my time as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech. I currently own a horse and I have two dogs. I have a heart for taking care of animals and I have a lot of experience. I have experience with caring for special needs, administering medications, and wound/injury care. I love all animals. I have two acres at my house, it’s not fenced in but I have gps fence collars. I have access to a large farm and river frontage where your dog can be thoroughly exercised with permission. Terms negotiable. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. :) The pets are taken care of before anything else. They will be let out, fed their breakfast, and exercised first thing in the morning. They will be let out or walked every 4 hours or less. I will either leash walk your pet or I do have a gps fence e collar available. My dogs are very friendly and playful. They get along with all dogs from teeny pocket beagles to huge hounds and everything in between.
