“Rachel was a wonderful dog sitter for Rosie. My dog played all day with her dog and got a lot of exercise. She communicated with me throughout the day to give me updates about my dog. She made me feel comfortable having her as a person my dog will love to go see in the future visits”

“Christina was amazing with Max! He was so happy, relaxed, and felt completely at home with her. It’s clear she truly cares for the fur babies she looks after, and Max was comfortable from the very start. I’d highly recommend Christina to anyone looking for someone caring and trustworthy.”

“Mariana was such a WONDERFUL sitter for old Hilbert!! She took him for 2 walks, dried him off after getting stuck in the rain, and treated him like he belonged to her! If we are ever in St Augustine again, I will definitely use her again!”

“Nelli and her family were super kind and loved our baby like their own. Plenty of pictures to keep us updated throughout the day! Thank you so much for taking care of our baby.”

“Tracy is an exceptional caregiver. I have a 15 year old miniature pinscher that Tracy took care of for the day recently. Throughout the day, Tracy checked in with me via text, sending pics of my chilled out dog. I knew my dog was comfortable and calm when Tracy sent a pic of her begging for snacks. When I picked up my dog later that afternoon, she was relaxed and sleepy. Tracy is a consummate professional. After I contacted her about day care, we had a meet and greet so my dog could get acquainted with her. Tracy was on time and exhibited kindness and trustworthiness from the get go. She loves dogs and it showed. I hope to use her day care service again because I know my dog will be well taken care of. Compassion, kindness, and trustworthiness are qualities that Tracy possesses in abundance. I highly recommend her.”

“Our dog spent the day with Katherine and we received numerous pictures of her playing and hanging out with Katherine and her dog. Would definitely feel comfortable leaving her there again!”

“Truly amazing! I had been looking for a sitter and Bridget was quick to respond and reassuring my pup would be well taken care of, and she was! She was also accommodating with times, which I really appreciated too. My dog had a blast there with her dog and I loved the updates with pictures I received. Would definitely recommend her to those in need of a sitter!!”

About: Hi, I’m Lindsey! 🐾 If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family while you’re away, I’d love to help! I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud cat mom. I currently have a cat of my own, and I grew up with both dogs and cats, so I’ve always had animals as a big part of my life. I genuinely love all animals and would be so happy to give your pets some extra love and attention while you’re away. I work from home, which means I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply giving them a quiet and comfortable place to relax. I know every pet has their own personality and needs. Some want to play all day, some want to be your shadow, and some would prefer to spend most of the day napping somewhere cozy. I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away with photos and messages, because I know it’s much easier to relax when you can see that your baby is happy and doing well. ❤️ I’d love the opportunity to get to know your pet and give them a little home-away-from-home! I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I can accommodate regular walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I’m also happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and make sure they get the consistency they’re used to while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to play and explore, giving pets a safe space to get some fresh air and exercise. When caring for pets in their home, I’m respectful of their space and routine and will follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and anything else they need. I’m attentive to their behavior and surroundings and will always take extra care to keep doors, gates, leashes, and other potential escape routes secure. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your time away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved—and for you to have complete peace of mind while you’re gone.

I love getting to know each pet’s personality. I’m flexible since I work remote. I’m also active! Whether your pet wants a walk, a fun play session, or simply pets, I want to keep them happy. I strive to make sure your pet will feel safe and comfortable and will keep you posted with as many pictures and updates as you’d like. I’m available to care for your pet across the full week - week day or weekends. I’m also remote, so I’m flexible with scheduling based on your needs. Your pet’s safety and happiness will always come first! Whether they are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I will always ensure a clean and comfortable environment. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine closely. I’m mindful of doors, gates, leashes, and any other safety details.
About: I think dog’s are awesome animals and they are so loyal. I love being around dogs and seeing their true personalities come out. One day I would live to have a dog, but I want to wait until I have a backyard to let them run. I work a 9-5, but I am remote. This gives me flexibility to tend to your animals needs. Animals are like toddlers and need a lot of care and attention. This is an important thing to remember for any animal owner. I will treat any animal as if they are my own. Every animal on this planet deserves to be treated with love and compassion. In time of their owners absence, it is especially important to make them feel safe and loved.

About: Care for 30-60 pounds doggies. My dogs are senior dogs , mellowed, very easy going. May not be a good fit for a young puppy younger then 2. At this time I am only able to accept doodles due to my work. I work with food, bake all kinds of pastries and breads. Only non shedding pups at this time as I cannot have any hair around my kitchen. I am home most of the time so potty breaks can be as often as needed. My pets are my children. When asked how many kids do I have I say 4. Two human babies and 2 animal babies. My pups are very gentle with my children and I would like to continue with such puppies/ guests. I have been around dogs all of my life. Grew up in Poland with family who had farms and all kinds of animals. Dogs were always around. Playing with them was part of growing up and having fun. Now I have 2 sheepadoodles (Lilly and Bella) who are wonderful companions. They are big, furry, loving addition to my family. Cannot imagine living without them. My 4 legged babies can get me smiling on a bad day. I care about them as much I as do about my human children. They absolutely love humans, and get along with other dogs.. I am home almost all the time so your dogs will not feel lonely. Also doggies are allowed to run freely , there are no cages. Our yard is fenced and pretty big with toys to play with. I would like to take dogs between 30-60 pounds. just because mine are 50 and 70 pounds and by my experience they do play better. I take only 1 guest pup at the time so the experience is more personal. Also that helps me to keep all of them safe .... there are 4 cameras in our house so I can have an eye on my furry babies even when I am grocery shopping or running errands. Safety and love is what I like to share. I had taken a break from Bording due to personal issues. When pregnant with second child someone smashed into my car. Don’t remember anything. Woke up in a hospital couple of days later. High risk pregnancy. My daughter is 6 now and I decided to resume taking a doggie companion. It is very important I only have gentle dogs guests. Especially Gentle with children around. Thank you for understanding. I am stay home mom. If I go out it won’t be longer than 3 -4 hours most of the Time. I have been stay home mom for 10 years now. I have a fenced yard and 2 doggies to keep your pup company. If I step out it is for couple of hours only. I have 4 cameras in my home to check on them as often as I want to.

About: We’re huge dog lovers, and having recently lost our own pups, we’d love the chance to welcome some four-legged friends into our home while their parents are away. We know firsthand how hard it can be to find someone you truly trust to care for your dogs and how much peace of mind comes from knowing they’re being loved and looked after properly. Over the past ten years, we’ve adopted three dogs, two of whom were seniors when they joined our family. Our pups were truly our kids, and we’ve experienced just about everything that comes with sharing your life with dogs, from the funny quirks and endless cuddles to the extra care and patience older pups sometimes need. We’ve also looked after dogs for friends and family for years, sometimes having as many as four pups in the house at once! I’ve personally worked as a dog walker for several years, and my husband, Ric, is great with training… although his specialty is definitely cuddling. We’re holding off a little while before welcoming our next dog into the family, so in the meantime, we’d genuinely love having some pups around to spoil. Our goal is to give dog parents the same reassurance we always wanted when leaving ours behind: knowing your pups are with people who will treat them like part of the family. Expect lots of love, plenty of attention, a comfortable home, and probably more photos and updates than you asked for. 😂 Basically: your pups will be spoiled, cuddled, and treated like the little angels they are until you’re home again. ❤️🐾 I work from home most days, so pups get plenty of company, attention, and opportunities to get outside throughout the day! Ric and I are early risers and usually start our day around 5:45 a.m. with a quick trip to the yard for a wee. Since I’m home during the day, I’m able to keep an eye on their routine, let them out whenever they need, and fit in little walks throughout the day. After dinner, we always head out for a 30–45 minute walk, and any pups staying with us are more than welcome to join! If they’re particularly energetic, we’re also happy to add a longer morning walk after breakfast. And, of course, being in Florida, we’re always mindful of the heat and will adjust walks and outdoor time to make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable. 🐾 Honestly, we have a very peaceful household, and our dogs have always just chilled right alongside us. We’ll stick to whatever routine you give us when it comes to meals, treats, walks, medications, and anything else they need, but outside of that, we’re pretty good at matching their vibe. If they want to play, we’ll play. If they want to curl up on the couch and take it easy, we’re more than happy to do that too! Some of our friends have dogs who are usually pretty high-energy or a little anxious, and even they seem to completely zonk out when they stay with us. We like to think our home is just a comfortable, easygoing place for pups to settle in, feel safe, and make themselves at home. 🐾
About: I’ve had pets as long as I can remember, and wouldn’t have it any other way. They are the charm of any home!! I would be honored to watch your pet. I currently work from home and have three dogs myself. All very loved and get along great with other animals, including cats!! I am home all day every day and the dogs thrive when we have a guest pet. My house is set up to where I can divide the animals and they’d still be comfortable. I also have a very large 2 acre lot that is completely fenced in.
“Our mini golden doodle, Cooper, just loved his play date at Nancy’s home! She provided pictures, updates, and her responses were quick. We definitely would schedule another playtime in the future. 10 stars for sure!”

As of September 2026, there are 540 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Federal Point. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Federal Point commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 540 sitters in Federal Point, 91% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
