About: In a personal and professional setting, I have taken care of lizards, frogs, crabs, shrimp, insects, mice, dogs, cats, deer, chickens, goats, sheep, fish, both native and tropical, and rabbits. I was born loving animals and quite enjoy learning new things about them. I greatly enjoy meeting new pets of any variety, and quite enjoy getting to know them. I am incredibly patient with animals and have a respect for their own personal selfs. I work full time, but I am usually free from 3pm to 10pm on weekdays. My weekend days are typically free anytime. I would love to figure out times between these frames, as I am typically flexible if given enough time to prepare. I was formally in the military, so you can be assured I know how to follow instructions. I do love to have a written list of tasks and care instructions. I am generally knowledgeable of baseline care, but I will gladly follow your instructions. I am incredibly respectful of others' spaces, and will be as clean as possible while in anyone's home. My general rule with any animal is patience and repetition.

With experience handling various breeds and administering medication, you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is in caring hands!

About: I grew up in the country surrounded by all types of animals. Pups, cats, bunnies, goats, guinea pigs were all part of my life growing up and giving them a good life meant the world to me. Regardless of the animal it's gonna get a world of enthusiasm and love. I'm currently a full time student but I have time during Wednesday, Fridays and weekends that I would very much like to spend helping take care of pets. I think the best way to keep any pet safe and cared for is to simply be present. That and being mindful of any special needs or wants of the pet.

About: I am currently a veterinary assistant and see dogs and cats every day! I have grown up with animals my entire life as well of all ages. I help my friends out with their pets as well while they’re away! 4. I have my own dog that I take care of daily and my best friend also has a dog that I’m around constantly. I’m available almost every night and can send updates any time about how they’re doing! I always make sure to let my dog out every 4-6 hours and we go on walks for about 30-45 minutes each time. I also make sure to give her plenty of attention and check that she has clean water. I’ll open curtains for her to look out while I’m gone at work and let her sunbathe.

About: I’m a devoted animal caretaker with over 25 years of hands-on experience and a deep, intuitive connection to animals of all kinds. I’m neurodivergent and have always felt tuned into the emotional world of animals — I pick up on subtle cues, communicate calmly, and adapt to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I was raised on a farm in my early childhood, surrounded by horses, pigs, donkeys, and goats. As a teenager, I spent time working with unridable horses — the so-called “lost causes.” I developed a reputation for being able to build trust and connection with animals that others couldn’t reach. That same ability has carried into my work with dogs and cats: I’m kind of an animal whisperer. I don’t dominate or control — I listen, observe, and build safety through relationship. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from high-energy herding dogs to elderly chows needing stroller walks and patience. I frequently care for my mom’s brilliant, high-needs zuchon, and I’ve helped rescue dogs like my silky terrier recover from severe neglect and trauma. I currently live with three cats I raised from kittenhood and have experience with bottle babies and end-of-life medical care. I’ve supported cats through kidney failure and can administer subcutaneous hydration fluids while you’re away, if needed. Whether your pet is anxious, reactive, elderly, or just wonderfully weird, I meet them exactly where they are — and give them the kind of care that helps them feel safe and seen. Here’s a quick look at what I offer: - Experience with elderly, anxious, and reactive pets - Comfortable with oral meds and subcutaneous fluids (for cats) - Skilled at building trust with “difficult” animals - Can reinforce training and add enrichment to walks or playtime - LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent-friendly households welcome 🌈 Let’s make a plan that keeps your pets calm, loved, and thriving while you're away. 🐕💛🐈 I work part-time from home as a writer, so I have a flexible schedule and love incorporating pet care into my daily routine and rhythm. I don’t offer in-home care since I live in an apartment, but I’m available for 1–2 night overnight stays in your home. I focus on creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel secure, respected, and cared for—especially those with anxiety, special needs, or trauma histories.

About: I've owned dogs for 15 years now. I was previously a fur Mom of 1. Now I am a fur Mom of 4! My son and I have 1 Guinea Pig and 3 adorable and sweet dogs. We have a set feeding schedule and a wonderful sun room where I crate train my dogs. Potty training and behavior training are things I enjoy! I have a very consistent work schedule so pets can get the care that they deserve! We have a large, fenced in backyard for plenty of fetch, stick chewing and running. We have a friendly neighborhood for daily walks. Pets get lots of love, attention and plenty of potty breaks at our home! Pet safety and care it my upmost priority! Pets are always given ample attention and one on one time. Food and water is monitored and scheduled according to owners. Pets are always supervised and given lots of love and pets. About: I grew up on a farm where our pets were always family members and treated with love and respect. I have two rescue dogs myself. I am happy to keep my dogs separated from clients. I am fortunate that my parents have a farm and welcome their grand pups in case of overlaps in sittings. My girls do great with most other pets, however I understand every animal has their own personality and comfort zone. I respect and do things on the owner and the pet’s terms. I strive to provide an experience where you feel you are leaving your loved ones with people who care as much as you. I worked the corporate world since college and decided I would take a break and enjoy a summer with my own fur babies. I have always been the go-to dog sitter for close friends and family. I quickly received more requests by word of mouth with my flexible schedule this summer. I am currently working on starting my own company for pet products making my schedule open and flexible! I live in Boonville, MO. I attend regularly conservation areas, dog parks, and my parents wooded farm outside of Glasgow, MO. My home is an apartment. I have an outdoor deck with stairs that access a private fenced in area that is pet safe. My home is equipped with a dog door for my own pups to use at their leisure along with security cameras. Plus I am only a block from Katy Trail access!

“Nicholas took amazing care of my animals while I was on vacation for a week. He followed the instructions I gave him wonderfully and even cleaned up extra without me having to ask him. He gave lots of love to my animals as well, so they didn't get lonely without me there, and he never made me worry about whether my animals were in the right hands or not. I would recommend Nicholas to anyone who wants to see their babies in good hands.”

Brianna A.
“Brianna has watched my pets previously and did a great job! Super attentive to my dog's needs and my cat loved her. I felt comfortable leaving them both in her care.”

Tami H.
“Tami is incredibly patient and thoughtful with animals. They've worked with some of the most challenging pets imaginable, including their own rescue from a puppy mill who arrived completely shut down and fearful - and thanks to Tami's care, that dog felt love for the first time and learned to trust. They frequently care for my dog, Ollie, who is a very energetic (and sometimes opinionated) little zuchon. Tami walks him regularly and always keeps a careful eye on him - he needs someone who understands both his smarts and his energy, and Tami manages him beautifully. He's always overjoyed to see her! They're especially great with animals who need a little extra attention, whether it's anxiety, trauma history, or medical needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for kind, experienced and deeply attuned pet care.”

Nicole C.Star Sitter
“Nicole watched my sweet Baby Luke while we were on a little vacation. He was very well taken care of and so happy when we picked him up! Her own dogs are THE SWEETEST dogs, and he loved his time there. 100 ⭐️s!!”
