“Brandi was great! Peanut just took right to her and loved being there. Brandi sent me daily photos to see how Peanut was adapting. She loved being there and I will definitely seek out Brandi the next time we need a sitter for Peanut. I know she will be well taken care of and I will be able to enjoy my time away not worrying about her.”

About: I have loved and adored dogs since I was able to walk on my own. I have owned a large number of dogs over the years. My wife and I currently own a Brittany, a Golden Collie, and an old herding dog. My dogs enjoy a huge fenced back yard while also having 12 acres to run around and burn energy. I am a caretaker of my father in law and am at home during the day. I own three dogs that love socializing and meeting new friends I live on 12 acres can walk and play with your dogs. I have several dog crates for evening sleeping if needed (larger breeds may need to provide their own). Access to water to play in, drinking water, treats and training time. I am happy to provide the love your fur babies deserve while you enjoy your vacation!
About: I am that lady who will cross a busy street just to pet your dog. Most of my clients are offline but I am moving on to Rover in an attempt to broaden my current client base. I am open to boarding in my home but I do live in an apartment with an unfenced yard so the best fit would be small, mellow couch-potato types. I understand the need for a dog to wander, smelling each tree and finding new routes. I have been around dogs my entire life and have an automatic caretaking demeanor when faced with a furry lil friend. I was the lucky human to a wonderful pup named Georgia O'Keeffe for the last 12 years and unfortunately had to put her down in January 2026; please let me spoil your dog in honor of my best babe! My schedule is very flexible and I have a reliable car to get me there. Right now dog walking and sitting blend seamlessly around my other work. UPDATE: I was in chemotherapy all summer for a cancer recurrence and had my final treatment in October 2026. I am finally reopening my bookings and building my strength back up. I will be taking limited bookings at this time and will be a good fit for low energy pup, though they will still receive multiple walks a day and all the love and attention their little hearts can handle. Pets communicate through their own signals, telling us what they need. It's up to me to get to know your pet by learning their behaviors and patterns. That way I can make sure they are getting the best care available. To me, this is not a hobby or side job to make some extra cash; I take animal care very seriously and have made it my profession so that I can spend my days pouring my love and energy into the animals around me.

About: Hi! I’m an animal lover who understands how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality, needs, and routine. I know that every animal is different, and I want to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how much our furry family members mean to us. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, and plenty of love and attention. I’m also comfortable following specific care instructions and keeping you updated with pictures and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make your pets feel right at home and give you confidence knowing they’re in reliable hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! I currently work as a teacher from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM during the week, so my weekends are the perfect time for me to dedicate extra attention and love to your pets! I’m an animal lover and have two cats, one dog and 3 goats of my own who I care for every morning/night. When I get home, I make sure my pets get the attention they need, including taking my dog for a walk right away. I’m used to building pet care into my daily routine and understand how important consistency is for animals. On weekends, I have more flexibility to spend quality time with your pets, whether that means going for walks, playing, providing companionship, or simply keeping them company. I’m committed to following your pet’s normal routine and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time and play. I also have a friendly dog and two friendly cats! I understand that every animal has different needs and comfort levels, and I would always prioritize your pet’s safety and well-being. I would make sure pets are supervised, have access to fresh water, and receive plenty of attention and care. I also understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, so I would always take introductions slowly and keep pets separated when needed to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
“Anna, Luke and their dog Taco were wonderful. They made Rio feel at home and were accomodating with our shifting schedule. We loved having the opportunity to introduce the dogs at a local dog park before just dropping Rio off. We would highly recommend them!”

“Jax stayed with Lindsay and her dog for a night while we were out of town. He seemed to have a blast! She took time to slowly introduce the dogs and he went on a nice long walk both days she had him. When he picked him up, he was happy and exhausted! Lindsay clearly loves dogs.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Farmington home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Farmington.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Farmington sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
