“I am a travel nurse and was in Winston-Salem from mid October thru mid January and Natalie and her daughter watched my chihuahua Lilah on my workdays. Lilah loved her daycare days and loved to play with her daughter and her dogs Raegan and Kennedy. She knew when I pulled into their driveway and would start wagging her tail and trembling a little with excitement. On her last day, when I rang the doorbell to drop her off, Lilah was even scratching their door to get inside faster lol. I was happy Lilah had a place to stay and to play and definitely recommend Natalie (and her daughter) for all your dogsitting needs! Lilah always came home tired from playing and went straight to bed and slept all night :)”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, from hermit crabs to horses. The last 15 years I’ve gone from volunteering with animals to now rescuing and owning 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I’m a resident physician but I’m currently on a research year so my schedule is pretty flexible for home visits or walks- but also for boarding given that I have a very animal friendly environment in my own home. I have a three bedroom, split level house with a large backyard and access to a huge field on the other side of my yard for things like fetch and walks. I have 2 energized and social dogs in my own home who are very friendly, love cuddling and playing fetch. I also have 2 cats who do well around my dogs, one younger one that plays along with them and one older one who is still social but keeps more of a distance from play time.

Whether you prefer for me to care for your pets in your home or drop them off with me, I can easily accommodate your needs. I already care for my own two dogs, who are fed three times a day and have the freedom to roam my home comfortably, so providing consistent, loving care throughout the day is part of my everyday life. I’m also fully available after work hours, making it easy to provide extended or overnight care when needed. I primarily offer in-home pet sitting services, which allows your pets to stay in the comfort of their own environment and maintain their normal routines. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Because I work from home, my schedule is very flexible, making it easy for me to accommodate various needs—from daily visits to overnight stays. In some cases, I also offer pet sitting at my own home, depending on the size of the pet and their level of training. “My dog's stay with Vicki FAR Exceeded my expectations. My dog has terrible separation anxiety and has not done well in the past when I've left him with someone besides doggy day care. Vicki knew I was nervous about how the dog would do. We spent a while talking about his personality and how he would be most comfortable. A while after I left, she sent a text and photo of how well he was doing. I was so relieved!!! When I returned to her home and pulled in the driveway, I was so happy to see my dog relaxing with her, contentedly listening to some relaxing music for dogs. He was so chill. I would definitely recommend her to others. She has no other pets or kids and really goes the extra mile to make sure your pet is comfortable.”

About: Hi! I have always loved working with pets. I have owned pets since I was a child and I have dealt with both cats and dogs. I spent time working at a doggy daycare called Ruff Housing and I got to learn further how to take care of a variety of dog types with a variety of personalities. About: I’ve been a vet tech for about 5 years. Before that, I managed a pet boarding facility. I grew up on a farm, so I’ve been caring for dogs and cats all my life. Im a toddler mom, and I currently work as an emergency vet tech so I’m great at keeping calm in stressful situations. I’m a stay-at-home mom during the week, and then I work on Saturdays, so I’m pretty flexible with my schedule! I will have to bring my toddler with me to any visits on a weekday if it’s before 4 pm. When I’m caring for a pet, I always play with them and make sure they get quality interaction with me. I also check over their physical appearance to make sure they’re healthy and safe. As a vet tech, I’m very concerned with pets’ health and wellbeing.

About: Dogs that will be in my care will be loved and taken care of as if they were my own. I have a lot of experience with animal care, 5+ years. On my free time I like to volunteer at the Wake County Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog cuddler. I’m here for you and your dog😊 Im free throughout the weekday but mostly on the weekend. I always have my phone on me so if you need me, I’ll be there. I’m open to all client requests and requirements for caring for their pet. While in your space I’d respect it as if it’s my own.

About: I have had some kind of pet for as long as I can remember. Obviously dogs and cats but also poultry (I now raise and breed bantam chickens, bantam ducks and peafowl), goats, pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, mice, birds, turtles, crabs, fish, snakes (which I currently have) etc. I have always loved animals and it’s my hobby and passion. If I had the means I would have a zoo lol Other than running our small farm I am stay at home mom to 4 year old autistic son that has been around all different types of animals his whole life. I have the spare time to help take care of peoples pets/babies when they need it❤️ We have a very pet friendly house, our dogs are only crated when needed but they are crate trained. Dogs can hang out and sleep on couch’s/beds, it’s just fur I’ll clean it lol 🤷‍♀️
