About: Hello! My name is Katrina, I am an elementary school counselor currently saving up to buy a home! I have my own dog, Milo, a 4-year old lab mix but I have always loved dogs and have experience volunteering at service dog training facilities, shelters, and I have fostered dogs, as well! I have done dog walking and petsitting for multiple years now and have experience working with all types of dogs, small or large, reactive or non-reactive, all energy levels, and I love them all :) I will update you as much as you want on your pet when I am with him or her, I know it can be stressful to be away from them but I promise they are in good hands if they are with me! I currently work full-time so I am available after 4pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends! I am more than happy to work with your schedule. I have a large, fenced-in backyard and my own dog that loves to spend time outside. Please let me know whether your dog is more of an indoor/outdoor dog and how I can adjust the environment to fit his/her needs.
About: I myself have a deaf and anxious pup. From her, I have learned how to navigate certain tough situations. I have had to put so much time and effort into her training and am watching her become an amazingly happy and well behaved dog (she even knows a bit of sign language!) I also lost a buddy back in July. He was 14 years old and required medication administration many times a day. With him I learned a lot about helping the old guys feel as happy and safe as possible because they are probably scared of the changes they are experiencing in their lives. I am very active and love going on long walks, so having a dog there would just be an extra bit of fun! I am currently in school but only taking a few classes. I'll have time to play with your pups in the evening especially if you need a night off but they still need a walk! I live in an apartment so leashes are crucial. I would never let my own dog off the leash, so I would never put your dog in a situation where something could go wrong. My own dog is quite reactive on the leash, so if I sense that we are approaching a person/dog/object that might trigger her reactivity I usually steer clear of it to avoid any kind of avoidable altercation. I want every dog to feel safe so i will adjust based on what your dog’s body language is telling me.

“Katie was amazing for our sweet kitty!! She completed a meet and greet with both our animals before and immediately made friends. She is thoughtful and knowledgeable about animals’ needs and feeding patterns, and went out of her way to bond with our cat while we were gone. She sent daily pictures, stayed the entire visit and even got our mail! Thank you Katie for helping our trip go more smoothly and keeping our hearts at ease while we were gone. Will absolutely request Katie again in the future!”

“Madison was incredibly responsive, courteous and most importantly, our pup loved her. She felt calm with Madison, and I felt great knowing she was in good hands. We will definitely call Madison for help again!”

“Kimberly did an excellent job watching our animals while we were on vacation. It was so nice to have frequent updates and pictures of the pets, and she went above & beyond making sure they were cared for & that everything was kept in order. 10/10! Thanks again. ??”

“I’m so happy to have met Kat! She came to meet Remmi, our 125lb English/Italian mastiff before watching her for the first time. I feel it is important for everyone to feel comfortable in a house and dog sitting situation-not only Remmi and I, but Kat as well! I immediately felt comfortable and confident with Kat taking care of our sweet pup and home while out of town. We used Kat again soon after the first time..a VERY last minute trip. Kat responded right away and agreed to help us out-she’s wonderful! I could go on and on-she is a perfect fit for our mastiff and mainecoon kitty!”

“Olivia was wonderful! My pup loves staying with her and her family. She responds quickly to messages and sends me pictures of my pup throughout the day. She treats him as like he is hers. Olivia has a nice backyard and he loves running around there too! Her daughter is also sweet and gentle with my pup. it’s such a joy to see pictures of them running around and having a great time. It gives me peace of mind that I can leave my pup with this loving family to take care of him when I can’t. Wish I could give Olivia more stars!”

“We love Tara and her home! Always so communicative and responsive and Imo bounds right in without any hesitation when we come visit (he has separation anxiety so that means a lot)! Thank you for taking care of our fluffy man Imo!!”

About: I’m new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life! I currently have two happy pups of my own who are part of my daily routine. We go on multiple walks each day and spend lots of time playing and relaxing together. I work from home as a pharmacist, so I have a flexible schedule and can give your dog plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just some good company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I work from home, so pet care easily fits into my daily routine. My two dogs keep me active with walks, playtime, and snuggles throughout the day, and I love having the flexibility to give visiting pups the same attention and care. I treat every pup like part of the family! My home has a fenced in yard and is in a very walkable neighborhood so there are plenty of chances to exercise and play. I keep each dog’s routine consistent with what they’re used to — from feeding and walks to cuddle time. Since I work from home, I’m around all day to give lots of attention, care, and supervision.
About: Hi!! I’m Kimberly 😊 A little about me: I’m a mom of three boys 💙 (a newborn, a 2-year-old, and a 7-year-old), so life is definitely full in the best way. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and that’s something my kids have naturally picked up too. They absolutely love animals and have learned to be gentle, kind, and respectful from a young age. I’ve been caring for animals for over 15 years now, both personally and for others, and it’s something I truly enjoy. I grew up in a home full of pets. At one point we had 26 birds, 24 guinea pigs, 2 cats, and 3 dogs, so being around animals has always just felt natural to me. My faith is a big part of who I am and how I treat others. It guides me to be patient, attentive, and genuinely caring, not just with people but with every pet I’m trusted with. I understand how much they mean to you, and I take that responsibility seriously. We live in Mocksville, NC, and I’m in the Clemmons and Winston area often, so I’m very flexible depending on your location and needs. My husband is a U.S. Navy veteran, so we have a deep appreciation for those who serve and a special place in our hearts for military families. At the end of the day, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for with attention, patience, and genuine love while you’re away. I’m currently a stay at home mom, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. On weekdays, I do school drop off between 7:45am and 9:30am and need to be home again by 3pm for pick up. Outside of those times, I’m generally very open and able to accommodate visits and walks. If a drop-in or walk falls within those school hours, my kids may come along with me. They absolutely love animals and are always gentle, respectful, and happy to give your fur baby a little extra love and attention 😊 ⸻ Note: I’ve adjusted my 30 minute drop in and walking rate because I often find myself staying a little longer to make sure your pet truly gets the attention and care they need. In my opinion, 30 minutes can feel rushed, especially for pets who have been alone for a while. I never want your pet to feel hurried, so I do my best to include extra time whenever possible so they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved on. My rate is flexible depending on your pet’s needs, so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m always happy to chat! I am very respectful of my home as well as others. I like to keep things clean and take pride in maintaining a well-kept space. I’m not one to pry, and I’m very self-aware, always making sure I’m being respectful of your home. I will treat your home the same way I would want my own to be treated. I’m great with following directions and instructions, and when it comes to your pets, I take my time to make sure their needs are fully met. You can definitely expect a bunch of updates and pictures while your furry or feathered babies are in my care.
“Morgan and her family were absolutely AMAZING to my sweet pup! You can really tell that she (along with her children) really just love to care for animals. I was very satisfied with everything, my pup had two days of “day care” when my work schedule was extremely busy & my pup was so excited to go back the next day and see her family. Thank you again Morgan!”

“Caitlin was amazing with Winnie! Super responsive, regular updates with photos, really flexible and understanding with schedule changes, and I felt totally at peace knowing Winnie (my dog child) was in great hands. Can’t recommend enough!!”

“I booked Michael with only 2 days notice as I had to figure out last minute work travel plans. Booking and during the stay he was responsive and sent me updates throughout the day. He asked questions and we were aligned on daycare expectations. Macy had a messy bathroom accident shortly after I left and I felt that Michael handled this professionally and understanding as a fellow dog parent.”

About: I’ve been a vet tech for about 5 years. Before that, I managed a pet boarding facility. I grew up on a farm, so I’ve been caring for dogs and cats all my life. Im a toddler mom, and I currently work as an emergency vet tech so I’m great at keeping calm in stressful situations. I’m a stay-at-home mom during the week, and then I work on Saturdays, so I’m pretty flexible with my schedule! I will have to bring my toddler with me to any visits on a weekday if it’s before 4 pm. When I’m caring for a pet, I always play with them and make sure they get quality interaction with me. I also check over their physical appearance to make sure they’re healthy and safe. As a vet tech, I’m very concerned with pets’ health and wellbeing.
About: Hello! My name is Jenna. I am a 26 year old graduate student at Wake Forest and a registered nurse. I have a 4 year old Newfoundland-Bernese Mountain Dog mix named Phoebe who I love more than anything, and she is very friendly with other animals and other people. She would love more company! I know I want the best care possible for her when I am not able to do so. I want to be there for your pets when they deserve genuine care in the absence of you. Most importantly, I want YOU to be comfortable with who you choose to leave caring for your pets, because they are truly a part of your family. I have taught Phoebe tricks, I run with her, I brush and bathe her daily, feed and water her daily, and walk her every day for about an hour by the trail next to my house. I take great caution to assure the animals under my care are happy and healthy. I am very sociable, outgoing, and organized. My availability is very flexible throughout the day :) I won’t be away for longer than 4-6 hours at a time if I need to go to school in person for certain things, run errands, or study :) I will follow your lead in how you would like me to care for your dog and understand their schedule as best I can so they can still feel like they are in a routine! We will walk, play, and spend time together all day long.
“Debbie had the best day ever! Adalee sent me pics throughout the day and Debbie got along well with their dog. They played with the dogs throughout the day and gave them time out in the yard. It was a great experience overall!”

I always leave things the way I found them if not better! Including living spaces and animals. I always want to make sure I keep someone’s area clean and make sure I keep someone’s animal safe and happy while with me!
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I could walk. My family has always had a household of cats and dogs. When I was a babysitter I would also watch any animals needed of me. All other days are free, if you need me a weekend it needs to be 5 days in advance. I do not have a fenced In yard. I have two pet friendly dogs who I can put in a crate if needed. Anything your pet needs will be fulfilled with love and kindness
“Jessica was incredible. We had a very last minute need and she was responsive, confident and we felt from the beginning that there wasn't a situation that she couldn't handle when it came to our dog. He can be a little anxiously attached and she didn't bat an eye. She was a godsend when we needed one!”

“Mike is an amazing dog walker, so great with my anxious dog Emma! He’s so patient and kind with her, she now lets him rub her belly - a miracle! I appreciate how thoughtful and considerate he is, even making arrangements for a replacement when he’s on vacation. Really puts my mind at ease knowing I have him to rely on during the day!”

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog and animal lover my entire life! I have had numerous pets of my own over the years. We currently do not have any pets in our home but are looking to add a new family member within the next year. My experience administering medication I am completely comfortable administering any medication or performing any procedures that may be needed.

About: As a family of animal lovers with past pet‑business experience, I know how to give pets the gentle, reliable care they deserve. Our own pup, Duke (1.5), is a special‑needs dog himself, so we truly understand patience, routine, and calm support. He’s playful, friendly, and loves making new furry friends at their own pace. I have plenty of time to play with your pet. I’m available every day after 4 PM, and on weekends we’re flexible as needed. I have a fully fenced yard and a friendly dog who can keep your pup company if they enjoy that. I’m very comfortable caring for pets with special needs — whether they need a calmer environment, slower activities, medication, or extra reassurance. I always adjust to whatever helps them feel safe. They’ll get supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, and lots of attention. I follow each pet’s routine closely and can send photo updates throughout the day.
“Natalie is great with our pup! She brings her doggies to walk with our little pug (with permission of course) and it’s a big bonus to for her to meet new friends and socialize further. Very flexible, reliable and accommodating! Would definitely recommend Natalie to other pet parents without hesitation.”

About: Hi! I have always loved working with pets. I have owned pets since I was a child and I have dealt with both cats and dogs. I spent time working at a doggy daycare called Ruff Housing and I got to learn further how to take care of a variety of dog types with a variety of personalities. I look forward to getting to spend some time with your pets and giving them all the love when you can't be there! I currently work from home and get to create my own hours so I will have plenty of time to spend time with your pets or make sure I am able to walk them. I enjoy taking some time to go on walks during the day so I would love to include your pet on them! I have a fenced in yard as well as access to a dog park and walking trail. I have two fur babies that love to play and will keep your pup entertained. I can crate dogs as needed! I am willingly to work with any requests to ensure your fur baby has the best time away from home and is safe and cared for in your absence.
About: I have always loved animals. I very much care about their comfort and wellbeing. I’m also always ready for a good puppy or kitty cuddle! I have a pretty open schedule usually. I just need a heads up in advance. For drop ins I usually prefer afternoons, but it’s interchangeable. I can stay with your dog for most of the day usually, if needed. I’d also be happy to feed, play with, and walk them.

STARTING MAY30th for all your SUMMER care needs; I am available everyday and am flexible with times! One summer weekend is my vacation; dates are July 25-27th, unable to provide services.; it is a Saturday, Sunday and a Monday. Safety: Dog-My medium sized Westie (Sallie Mae) needs: Door shut immediately behind me (both glass door and hardwood door). She uses a harness/retractable leash for walks and a collar/retractable leash for short walk around house for fresh air/bathroom break. I am mindful always of any visible items on the floor that may have been dropped and could be of hazard! I also vacuum daily to reach areas under the bed for this reason also. I check that her pet stairs to my bed are placed accordingly to get accessibility to the bed. Food and water are always checked twice daily and located in 2 different parts of the house. Cat- My cat (Baby Muffin) does not try to escape to the outdoors (yet.....), however; as a precaution I rarely open my sliding glass door open largely or for any longer than necessary. I am mindful always of any visible items on the floor that may have been dropped and could be of hazard! I also vacuum daily to reach areas under the bed for this reason also. Food and water are always checked twice daily and located in 2 different parts of the house. I am always aware of her visibility, for example, if she does not appear when I am home or prior to leaving my home; I check for any closed coset doors, cabinets, etc. for a place she may have accidentally been trapped. Trust: Dog-My Westie needs immediate attention and "lovins'" when I walk through the door. Prior to leaving her she is talked to a prepped for me leaving by telling her key statements and then leaving three varieties of chew bones in front of the refrigerator (which she waits for). Trust is provided through routine and consistency. For example, everyday a You Tube video plays a repeating jazz coffee house with ambiance. I also take the measure of saying her name with happy intentions prior to entering my home to ensure she knows it is me at the door. Trust is continuing to repeat the names of her toys daily with playtime and telling her what is happening prior to a walk, etc. or getting close to dinner, bedtime or a ride/walk. Cat-My cat gets talked to immediately when arriving home to ensure she knows just how loved she is! I call her name sweetly and she's petted. She is given cat treats in her special bowl twice a day. At my house, I try to provide trust through routine and consistency. I offer her many places to sleep by herself with her special blankets and provide toys rotated for stimulation (springs, play mice and of course a random paper bag!) Environment: Sallie Mae and Baby Muffin: I have a daily routine where they are give their special treats twice a day, keeping fresh food and water available and rotated, clean bedding for their special sleeping. Our daily routine includes that the TV is left on with YouTube coffee-house jazz ambience and I always provide calming statements of affirmation for them when leaving for the day and again when arriving home. Cat- In the morning, the litterbox is cleaned with scooper and fresh litter is added as needed. I then take that trash out so that litter is not a bad fragrance when returning home. Cat hairballs are discarded as needed and floor area cleaned. Dog- Twice a week I clean a Turf system and relace turfs with clean ones while the others are rinsed and dried. Monthly grooming for her is provided through a mobile service. However; I give Sallie Mae a bath anytime it is needed with special shampoo, tepid warm water with a shower sprayer and then immediately wash and dry her towels that were used.
