About: I have been around dogs - as small as a Yorkshire and as big as a Shepard - my entire life as I grew up in a family that has always had pets, so caring for them has always come pretty naturally to me. From a young age, I have been responsible for walking, feeding, and spending quality time with our family dogs. Over the years, I have also helped friends are relatives by taking care of their dogs and cats while they were out of town, making sure their pets were always happy, well taken care of, and comfortable in their absence. About: I have taken care of dogs in one way or another for most of my life. I have had a pet, either a dog, cat, hamster or a horse all of my life. A couple of years ago I started sitting for friends pets and the last six months of last year I worked for a couple who ran a pet sitting business. I did dog walking, cat feeding and care, and some overnight visits. I am not an expert trainer but I went through all the puppy classes with my border collie and spent a couple of years training for agility. I am semi retired so I have a very flexible schedule. About: I raised my own dog and best friend from when I was just a little girl! She lived until 16 years old so I have experience with my own pup from puppy to elder! I’m also a former but recent manager at a doggy daycare and boarding center with experience in medications, special feeding, some behavior issues and lots of dogs (and cats) in all shapes and sizes! I also have guinea pigs of my own and pocket pet experience. Full time RN so I have plenty of free time and MISS my daily dose of animals! About: Hi! I am a college student looking for opportunities to earn some money while doing what I enjoy most-hanging out with animals! I have sat for family, friends, and anyone else who needs help, and would love to be trusted enough to walk/sit/watch your dog. Being a student creates lots of flexibility, specifically mid afternoon to night! I also can do early mornings and weekends if they are planned ahead. Respecting animals space and reading body language is incredibly important when going into their home and walking them! Understanding what they are comfortable with and creating a safe environment is top priority. Lots of treats are required lol!
