“Unbelievable service! We felt so good about leaving our Lucy for the week. Went above and beyond keeping us up to date with her and was very patient with our rambunctious beagle. Would absolutely recommend and do business with again! Thank you again Patty!”

“Anne did an amazing job caring for my fur baby. She’s skilled in oral medication administration which made leaving my baby who needs his seizure medicine daily, less stressful. She communicated well throughout our trip & sent a lot of pictures, which I appreciated! We are definitely rebooking in the future. 10/10 would recommend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“I’m so glad we found Melissa I don’t worry about our pup when we are out of town! She takes great care of him and has excellent communication and updates. Highly recommend!”

“I had to leave my Milo with Saphire for what I thought was going to be a two day work trip. When it became closer to week out of town she was very accommodating and understanding to the sudden change in plans. She sent photos daily of my happy dog and showed him the utmost care and loving. She even bathed him before I got him back and he came home smelling great! I highly recommend Saphire and I will definitely be using her services again!”

“Katie took care of my two kittens while we were away for 10 days. She sent me pictures and updates of how they were doing the entire time we were gone. I definitely recommend her and so do my boys!”

“Celeste is a super sitter - 5 star plus plus. She took excellent care of our chocolate lab, a very senior member of our family who is 17+ people years old and needs a little extra help. We are very happy with the love and care shown our old girl, and have found our new sitter of choice.”
“We are so fortunate to have found Shaylonn and Richard for Laddie! Peace of mind for Laddie's wellbeing is priceless, and they provide that for us whenever we need to be away. Laddie loves his time in their loving home, as shown by the pictures of him playing and napping like royalty that Shaylonn sends. Any pup is lucky to spend time in their home!”

About: Hello there! My name is Victoria but please call me Rayne, and I'm 33, so I've had a plethora of experience with many animals from hamsters to horses. I grew up on a farm and the mountains and raised and rode two beautiful horses alongside our many cats and dogs. I've also raising care for small creatures like guinea pigs and rabbits, and have a pretty good knowledge on their care. My dad was always very good at training any animal we had and I learned a lot of techniques from him so I'm very capable when it comes to a lot of species. Currently I am going through some medical appointments and I don't work so I have a lot of time on my hands, which makes me a pretty reliable sitter. The only other thing I do all day is bake and sell my sweets so I'd be happy to be doing something else with my time and animals are my favorite thing to be around. I can offer boarding and general pet care in my own home and I can give specific care as long as I am told what to do for the animal in question. I am able to walk small to medium dogs but do have help if there is any bigger breeds. I'm not fussed to care for something very particularly as long as I'm told what to do and how to do it I am perfectly capable of executing the task at hand. Being around animals is something I enjoy and I know that our fur babies are important to us so I will give them the utmost care and respect they deserve as your little angels as I would want the same done for any of mine. 💜
“Andrea was amazing with our guy. We got in touch with her last minute with our plans changing from the hurricane and couldn't bring our dog with us. from being nervous leaving him for the 1st time, she made everything easy and smooth. Our guy came home happy and tired playing with her dogs all day. if you are nervous about using the app and leaving your pet definitely give her a try!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals as a kennel tech and vet assistant since I was 15 years olds. And my degrees and career field revolves around veterinary medicine. I have nothing but free time to sit at home and care for your animals. There may be limited weekend availability depending on if I’m allowed to visit home once a month. I have an unfenced yard if your animal is a great listener, if not there is tons of space and a dog park for me to give them outside enrichment. Animals are free range in my home unless they have social issues. There are man areas that small kennels and gates can be placed to allow for separation if needed.
About: I have over 20 years of experience from breeding to boarding to dog walks. Exercise is an important part of your dog's day so is love and affection. My daughter, Haleigh, and I, provide several different services to accommodate your needs. Our services can be set on daily, weekly, or on as needed basis. During our visits we come to your home and provide one-on-one time, love, and attention to your fur baby. Time can be for a leashed walk, yard play, potty time, feeding, or any combination. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, we are here to help you feel at ease. I currently work part-time Monday thru Friday. I'm off at 1:00 so have plenty of time to show your fur babies the attention they need! I have 4 children and 1 fur baby. We live in a smoke free, pet friendly home. Our gurl is spoiled rotten, as she should be 😉

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Fannett home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Fannett.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Fannett sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
