“So happy we found Megan through the Rover app! We have 3 dachshunds that can be quite a handful. These dogs are spoiled rotten and well established members of our family. To say they are high maintenance is understatement! We never had the ability to travel, as the dogs health and welfare always took precedence. We finally took the leap and was able to pre interview Megan on a meet and greet. She showed up exactly on time and met our babies. Needless to say, dachshunds aren't easily impressed. They are fiercely loyal and territorial and a bit snooty. After quelling the initial barking session, Megan sat on the floor and the dogs were instantly attracted to her. We were able to go on our trip feeling our dogs were in good hands and well cared for. Megan fulfilled all her visits and job duties above and beyond what was contracted. Her check ins with us were right on time. She spent extra time on her own playing with the dogs. When we came back, it was amazing to see how well they took to Megan. They didn't want her to leave! Most importantly, our dogs were not stressed because they were able to stay in their own home, tended to by a trustworthy caring individual. Megan YOU ROCK!”

About: I have taken care of pets every since I can remember! I have always had pets in my life, and I have adored them. I have horses, dogs, cats, and fish. My mom is the one who taught me about pets’ needs, and how to care for them. My greatest joy is saving animals off the street and finding the right forever home for them. I know how much how much you love your pet, so I will treat them as if they were my own. I currently go to school and get off at 1 p.m. each weekday, which leaves me plenty of time to take care of your animals. Also, I free on the weekends. “Sherry did an outstanding job of taking care of our daughter's dog Abby over the long holiday weekend. Our daughter decided to join us just a few days before the trip and we were worried because our usual sitter was already booked. We were very grateful that Sherry was available and accepted our assignment with short notice. As soon as Sherry got there and was greeted at the door, it was apparent that Abby had maneuvered around the "barricade" my husband had created to keep her in a small area of our home. In doing this, she was cut off from her food and water. Sherry immediately called to alert us and the rest of the weekend went off without a hitch. Sherry was very prompt and consistent on keeping with Abby's schedule 3x a day and kept us updated with pictures as well. Being new to the area, we feel very fortunate to find someone reliable and trustworthy to care for our pet when needed. We highly recommend Sherry as a petsitter!”

About: I’ve fostered, transported, and cared for dogs and puppies of all breeds/sizes for 4 years partnered with my local animal shelter and have owned at least 4 pets at a time my entire life and take on full responsibility for them! I’m able to bottle feed or do any all-day care only on weekends. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies! I’m available for any sort of care on the weekdays afternoon-night and available all day on the weekends even for boarding! About: I’ve taken care of my pets as well as family pets since I got my first cat back in 2010 when I was 7 years old. I have my own cat that I take care of. I feed her and take out her litterbox every day. She’s an indoor cat so she remains close to me at all times. I’ll follow whatever instructions that are provided. I’m used to dealing with my indoor cat. However our neighbors have outdoor cats that roam around and I hang out with them all the time.

About: I have over 25 years experience as a bull breed breeder and dog shower. My family bred and showed Chows and Sharpei thru the 80's and 90's, and we bred and raised American Bulldogs until 2017. I also have done many rescues and have extensive knowledge of potty training, and am very well read on dog behavior and socialization. I would love to use my passion for dogs to help you and your family. Dogs and I have a very special understanding. I have cared for packs as large as 17, and as small as one. In my home, I have an old retired American Bulldog mama who is 9 years old. She is 120lbs of sassy mommy! I have two medical needs chihuahuas, and a french bulldog. I own my own pet transport business. We provide ground transportation and in cabin flight services for dogs and cats! I love everything about animals and they are my life! We do a slow introduction to my existing pack of four! Dogs are never left unattended when we have guests. Dogs eat as a pack and go out as a pack.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 10, everything from massive Great Danes to small little chihuahuas. I’m a former FFA student so I’m comfortable with a large variety of animals apart from cats and dogs. I’m also a former kennel technician so I’m very familiar with dog behavior and body language, as well as good experience with reactive dogs. Im currently looking for a more permanent job at the moment so looking after your pets has my full attention while I’m in the process of that. I will ensure that I’m well aware of all of your pets need, that includes possible medications or possible reactivity they may have. I have in-depth experience with reactive dogs to various levels, as well as handling and administering medications; from benadryl to chemo pills.

About: I have been professionally involved in pet care for over 15 years and keeping and studying animals for even longer! Animals are my passion and I love all species. My pets ARE my whole life. About: Being a versatile person and lifelong pet mom, I've experienced animals in all stages of life from bottle feeding kittens to teaching old dogs new tricks. It is possible. I currently have two senior cats, both since they were kittens. In 15 years they've had unique situations and varried interests that we as a family have adapted to such as traveling, fostering, and aging. Currently I am carrying for a senior dog that has weather anxiety and likes pillow forts in bad weather. Also with me is a 2 year old foster who loves the park and snuggles but is not good around some small dogs. I was able however to acclimate the large dogs to living peacefully with my two cats. It was a precarious situation at first. Both dogs love car rides as well as one of my cats. He might think he's a dog. I do my own pet bathing and grooming (trimming nails...polish, brushing, ECT.) I have also raised puppies and have worked with and house trained both cats and dogs. While walking the dogs we work on their social skills when encountering other people and animals. I have a flexible schedule, however, with a part time job I will need advanced notice to coordinate my schedule to meet the needs your pet. Short term and long term assignments accepted. I'm looking forward to meeting your pet! I would prefer to care for your pet in its home. My animals are still working on socializing. In time this may change however we currently can't have guests.
