“Maizy came home a happy dog. She was happy to see me at he end of the day but seemed happy to hang out a while longer too. She met new friends, played hard, and came home with tired paws. I think Stacy, Pearl, and Fred are beloved friends now.”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was 10 years old, and caring for them has always been my greatest joy. I was blessed to share 14 wonderful years with my last fur baby, and through that time, I truly understood how hard it is to leave your beloved pet behind when traveling. The biggest worry was always whether they were getting the same love and attention I gave them every day. That’s why I started dog sitting—to give pet parents the peace of mind that their babies are in the best hands. Since I work from home, I can provide constant care, affection, and companionship, ensuring your pup feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. With me, they’ll get all the attention they need, so you can fully relax knowing they’re in a home filled with love! I work full time from home, so I can spend all day and night with your fur baby! My work is very flexible, so I am able to do walks and playtime whenever we want to! I have a 6ft fully fenced back yard great for running and playing! I also have a doggie door so they can go in and out whenever they want! I have dog beds in the home for use, if you do crate, no problem, just bring along their crate and we will accommodate whatever they are used to doing at home!

“Derek did a great job with McGee, for his first time going to doggy daycare. McGee seemed to handle the situation well. Derek had good observations about McGee. Will definitely get Derek again.”

“Andrea was the best! She was so kind to us all! She made it easy to go to work because I knew my dog was having fun and being loved on.....Drop off and pick up was made easy, I will use her again when I'm in that city again!”

“Eric did a great job with our dog Phoenix. He was able to help us out on short notice. Our dog is reactive and he handled her very well. He was wonderful with communicating with us while Phoenix was in his care. We would highly recommend him!”

“My dog Louie had the absolute best time at doggie daycare with Melissa and her family. She was so spoiled and I received updates and photos throughout the day. I felt so safe leaving Louie and I know how loved she was. I would highly recommend Melissa! Thank you for taking such great care of my baby!”

“Another amazing day care visit with Nathan- He’s extremely communicative and was flexible on time with drop off/pick up! Can’t wait to book again!”

“Very friendly.”

“Absolutely fantastic! My puppy Snickers had the greatest time, and I got loads of pictures of her playing in the yard, enjoying toys, and having a blast with their dog Umbra. She came home tuckered out and had a great sleep. We'll definitely book again!”

About: I've had pets my entire life, and developed an in interest in taking care of pets for friends and neighbors. Because its something that I enjoyed and was good at. My favorite breed is "adopted". I am currently working from home and enjoy taking care of animals. I am available throughout the week and on weekends at any time of the day. Don't have pets at the moment but am great with animals. I have an unfenced yard where your pets can run around and can take them for walks as needed.

“I wish I could leave 10 stars! Jasmine was so helpful in helping me give a new puppy a strong foundation in potty training while I was at work. She socialized him with her own pets, and I could count on her punctuality every day. I needed early morning drop-off, and she never let me down! Plus, my dog LOVES her, judging by his wiggle launches into her arms. She’s the best!”

About: I have taken care of and raised several animals throughout my life and love all the family members. I care for our neighbors and family members animals whenever needed and take a lot of pride in caring for each animal as if they are our own. I work during the week but there’s always someone home. I travel for our kids sports but will update availability when that happens. There will be plenty of time for snuggles and walks! I have a fenced yard and two amazingly friendly dogs! Their names are Teddy and Rocky. They loves all animals! I have a doggy door so your furry friend will be able to go outside when they need to!

“Absolutely a life saver! Very nice and helpful. Made sure our dog's health was taken care of.”

“Michelle was great with our anxious little pup. She even sent pictures so that her anxious human mom knew that she was okay while away. I will definitely call on her again when we need a sitter.”

About: I have pet-sit for many years; since I was a teenager. I'll do check-ins, in home car, of house-sitting. I have house-sat for a months time with 6 animals before. There is no job too big or too small for me! As a homeschooling mom with a 6 year old daughter, my schedule is wide open. We take care of our dog daily; it's built into our routine. As me as your pet-sitter, I can be available to whatever your needs are. I can take dogs on frequent walks around my neighborhood, or do drop in visits at whatever time is best for your animal. I normally take my dog on 3 walks a day, but I can do more based on your needs.

“Fraser has a great time with Kyley, Levi, and Teddy. We know he is well cared for and always comes home tired! Thank you for your great care.”

About: Born around lots of animals, including the GSD my mom bred many going to K9 programs and I would show them when I was little. Growing up, I was part of raising & training hunting dogs (Labs) & a seizure dog (Sheltie). As an adult I've had a GSD, Pomeranians and pitbulls (potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, basic commands like sit stay come - clicker method). I also learned some about senior care helping my friend who worked at Hearts United shelter for several years. I currently don't have any dogs, but have cats. I have minimal appointments (2 hour long weekly standing & sporadic others) and errands (school drop off and pickup) so I can be available to care for your pet nearly 24/7 Caring for your dog at your home, I would follow whatever routine, usual/best practices you have for them there. At my apartment, there is a large open grassy area right behind my building and a great walking/bike path, but it is NOT fenced so I would be taking out any dog myself on a leash. If I needed to leave my apartment for an appointment/errand and could not bring your dog along, I would want to crate to ensure there's no accidents while unsupervised in a strange environment.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12, when my parents finally agreed to let us adopt our first puppy. Since then, I’ve looked after friends’ and family members’ dogs many times over the years. Our home features a large, fenced backyard with plenty of space for running and playing. When I need to leave the house, crates are available to keep pups safe and comfortable, but otherwise all visiting furry friends are welcome to roam freely indoors. Please note that I do have three children at home as well as two friendly dogs of my own. We’re an animal-loving household and excited to welcome your pet into our family environment! I am home the majority of the day, aside from occasional appointments or my children’s activities. This means your dog will rarely be left alone for extended periods and will enjoy plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run and play securely. Indoors, your furry friend is welcome to relax on the couch or enjoy playtime with my two friendly dogs and children. Crates are available if needed for safety or when I’m briefly away, but most of the time your pup will be treated like part of the family.

About: My wife and I both grew up with multiple dogs in our families. My wife grew up on a farm with mostly outside cattle dogs and I grew up in the city with mostly inside dogs. When we got married we got a dog of our own. She was our baby until we had kids of our own. She was then the best big sister to our daughters the rest of her life. We have owned 2 boxers in the time that we have been married and truly loved our time with them. We have realized as our 3 girls have gotten older and super involved in activities, we no longer have time for a dog of our own. That is what has brought us to Rover. We would love the opportunity to care for other people dogs in a way that works with our crazy schedule. My wife and I are both teachers and coaches. During the school year we are very busy teaching, coaching, and running our 3 daughters to activities. During the summer our schedule slows way down. We are usually home during the the week and at the lake on the weekend. All/most of my family would be available for pet care Monday-Friday during the summer. We would be available to have dogs in our home or to drive to your home. We would not be able to do any overnights in your home, but would welcome dogs to stay over night in our home. We live in a split level house, so there is no way to avoid stairs. We have a big fenced in backyard with a play set, trampoline, and above ground pool. We live in a quite neighborhood on a side street. We have lots of houses around us with dogs and lots of dogs in the neighborhood. My wife takes long walks daily and would love to have a canine companion. My 3 girls love animals and will spoil all dogs with love and attention.

About: I grew up with dogs and have always had pets. I was a toddler when our Brittany Spaniel had a litter of pups. I love to care for animals. Currently, I am having fun raising a high-energy, 2 year-old guy, taking him on adventures, fetch, exercise, and reading all the dog training books. :) I want to share my love and care for your dog too! I work from home, with plenty of time to walk, run, play and train. We have fun and would like some fur-friends to come join us! I work from home and take my dog for two to three 30-min walks/runs during the day (with 1-2 shorter walks or adventures mixed in). I have an outdoor area for shorter play times on leash, and take my dog for car rides and longer outdoor playtimes and walks twice a day. I work on basic commands and use positive reinforcement for desired behaviors. I have an extra large crate and a spare bedroom for quiet times. I am home all day with my dog and would oversee play times.

Leyanis R.
“I can’t recommend Leyanis enough as a dog sitter. Her love for animals is obvious from the moment you meet her, and she treats every dog like it’s her own. Whether it’s going on long walks, keeping up with feeding schedules, or just spending time giving attention and care, Leyanis is responsible, reliable, and genuinely kind-hearted. I’ve seen firsthand how comfortable dogs are around her—and how much they enjoy the time they spend together. If you’re looking for someone who will take excellent care of your dog, be dependable, and give you peace of mind while you’re away, Leyanis is the one.”

Rachel B.
“Rachel is one of the kindest, most genuine friends I have ever met. She will, at the drop of a hat, watch my dog for me when needed, and he absolutely loves her. She cares for her dog (and mine when she has him!) with such attention to detail, and even taught me how to make my dog's food homemade so that he could be as healthy as possible. She is attentive, loves taking them to the park, long walks, and giving them all the cuddles. She even gave my dog a bath one time when he got a little too muddy. I could not recommend a better person to be a partner to Rover, and any dog owner would be so lucky to have her care for their pet.”

Kyley J.

“Fraser has a great time with Kyley, Levi, and Teddy. We know he is well cared for and always comes home tired! Thank you for your great care.”

Kassidy R.
“Kassidy is a very responsible pet caregiver. She is very knowledgeable with a variety of cat and dog breeds. Your pet is in good hands with her.”

Sara W.
“Sara is amazing with our two dogs! She doesn't think about what is easiest for her to do, but what is best for the dogs. For instance, double checking when we will return because she wants to make sure that they're not cooped up in kennels all day. She knows what our dogs need, and their personalities, and she genuinely cares that she's doing what is best for them. We love when Sara cares for our dogs because we know she loves them like her own pets.”
