About: Ive had dogs my whole life of varying bread such as a lab and german shepherd, but on top of that i have worked in pet boarding in the past I am a dog mom myself and live with my sister who also has a dog. I don't have an ridged employment at this time so i can take care of pets whenever needed When i first meet a new dog i sit on the couch or on the floor and let them sniff me and pet them and give a treat or two to build positive association

“I wish I could give Melanie 10 stars!!! She is absolutely adorable!!! My only child is a very furry, shedding, totally spoiled rotten Australian Sheppard, Buddy Blu. Unfortunately, he developed a tummy ache & I was afraid to leave him home alone. There was no option for me to stay home that day. In at panic, at 4:30 AM, I reached out to Melanie via Rover.com. She answered right away & said not to worry, she’d take great care of Buddy and that she did!!! Buddy and I met her at the door & she immediately gave Buddy a big hug, scratch behind his ears, then gave me a huge hug! She again reassured me they would have a grand day! Before I left I couldn't help but chuckle as I overheard her teaching Buddy French! Melanie sent me a million pictures and videos throughout the day. When I got home I truly believe that every ball & toy of Buddy’s was in the back yard!!! All I can say is that we love Melanie and can’t wait to see her again. She is a lover of animals and people! 5, 10, 15 stars!!!”

About: I've helped care for all kinds of animals, from baby chicks to horses since I was a little girl. I had my first dog about 15 years and he was like my baby. I currently have a chihuahua and mixed breed (Italian greyhound/jack Russell) I brought home from Italy. I can care for birds, fish, and reptiles as well. I'll even feed your chickens. I have 4 years of experience fostering puppies and dog sitting as well. I'm flexible on hours. I love to go on walks, play, and make it a fun day! Pets are family and I would care for yours like they were my own. While following any instructions you give, I'll ensure your pet is safe and accommodated at all times. I'm a student and homeschooling mom, so I'm flexible on time. I play fetch a couple times a day with my own pets and work on simple commands with rewards. I make sure my pets feel loved and cared for. With guidance on how you'd like me to care for your pet, I can be accommodating. If your dog plays well with others, and you are looking for boarding, I have a large fenced in yard and a safe neighborhood for walks. I can follow your feeding schedule, no matter if it's dry, wet, or raw foods. I can come morning or afternoons, or both if you need me to come to your home.

She was very responsive to my initial inquiry about her availability, she showed up on time to the first meet with out fur babies, and showed up exactly when she said she would day one. She sent photos throughout the weekend, and was communicative about how the pups were doing. I will definitely be having her sit for us again!”

The dogs can be very intimidating to some people. Brittney had no difficulty handling all of the dogs. Brittney did a great job in sending daily updates. About: I have been taking care of all types of pets my entire life. I have experience working with senior cats and dogs that may need extra attention. During the school year I take care of pets on weekends and some holidays. During the summer I am available any time! (I’m a teacher) I have a German shepherd and 2 cats. They typically freely roam but the dog is crated when I am not home or at night.
