Then was admitted to Ross University for their veterinary medicine program. I can do grooming (dogs and cats), with nail trim and ear cleaning for an extra $20 fee. I am able to medicate (oral, injections, creams, etc...). I have closely worked with with diabetic cats, cats with strokes (wobbly cat syndrome), post surgery care, and canine seizures. I can go on long runs, take them to the dog park, or just spend some time cuddling your furry family member. I will send daily pictures or videos of your pet while you’re away as well! About: I love others pets like I love my own. I’ve had my own dog since I was 17 and took care of her in any way needed. I’m knowledgeable on a lot of things dealing with dogs. I trained all of my dogs myself to sit, shake, and listen to basic commands. I’m currently working Monday- Friday during the day. Any drop in visits you may need after 5pm I can do! As for the weekends, I am free to watch over your babies. I keep my schedule updated so in case I am not available it will let you know! I have a fenced in back yard where my dog stays. About: When caring for cats and kittens during boarding, I would make sure they are comfortable, safe, and getting the care they need. I would keep their food, water, and litter boxes clean and make sure they are eating, drinking, and using the litter box normally. I would also spend time with them, give them attention and enrichment, and watch for any changes in their behavior or health so I can address any concerns right away.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals pretty much since I could walk. My family has had chickens, quail, pigs, horses, goats, guinea pigs, and of course dogs and cats! I’ve also worked as a ranch hand at a goat farm for 2+ years. Currently the only doggie I can call my own is my sweet Nala. She is a mini schnauzer who loves people and is quick to play with other pups. I currently work part time and attend college on Mondays and Wednesdays. So I can almost always sit or board Thursday-Saturday. I love walking and jogging so I’m always up for that. I’ve taken care of family, neighbor, and even stray pets/animals and take pride in my ability to get on the good side of any creature. I have experience with administering medication, grooming, training, feeding routines, and overall handling, especially dogs that are skittish or fearful. All of these skills helped me excel in both of my kennel assistant positions. I am patient and fully willing to provide care for senior or injured pets, as they hold a special place in my heart. I'm currently a full-time student at MSU, and will share my schedule when a booking request is made. I have gaps between my classes, and am generally done with school around 12 pm on T/TH and around 2-3pm on M/W/F. Again, I have gaps between classes so I am available at different times of day. I am fully free on the weekends! I have three dogs and two cats currently living at home, while I have my third car with me at college. My college car is also blind and one of my home dogs has a torn CCL, but they both are adored all the same. I wouldn't change it for the world! My dogs are on radio collars on occasion (generally when strays begin to appear), but more often than not, they are inside-outside dogs and are let out on average 4-6x a day. My own dog, Felix, has the torn CCL and gets leashwalked 4-6x a day as well. All of my cats are free-fed dry food, and my blind kitty gets fed a special dry food. My oldest cat (13 yrs) is also fed wet food as an additional food, 1-2x a day. Their litter box is cleaned weekly, as we do not scoop, but I do scoop my blind cat's litter box daily, as she is the only cat in the dorm and the box is suited specifically for her. In my clients home, I will follow any and all rules and regulations laid out of me. I love "excessive details" as they give me a better idea of how to properly care for the pets. I follow feeding times and amounts to a T, and double, triple, sometimes quadruple-checking amounts of everything, whether it be food, medications, or the amount of excrement I find. If anything looks off (behavior, excrement, appetite, etc.) the owner is immediately notified with a mentality of "what do you want me to do next?" My goal is to treat the pet as good as the owner does, in the time I am around them. On walks, I encourage proper walking skills (heeling, low reactivity), and try to help teach dogs as I do so. If allowed by the owner, I'd use low-calorie, high-reward treats with a clicker tool to help refine walking skills. This way the pet gets mental and physical stimulation, while being able to still be themself.

I do prefer house sitting in order to keep your pets in their normal routine as much as possible!
About: I’ve taken car of animals all kinds since I was a teenager. I absolutely have a big heart when it come to animals of all breeds an ages. I work full time , but the afternoons works best for me during the weekdays days but I’m available on the weekends full time an Fridays as well I have a big fenced in yard they can play in, an indoors is pretty spacious as well, an have a dog of my own as well.
