About: Hi! My name is Jessie and I’ve been a dog owner all of my life. Animals have always been considered family to me and I’ve never in my life met a dog who didn’t like my presence, I can confidently say. I have experience with dog sitting where I house sat for 4 weeks and it was the best job for me. I’ve been asked by the same people two additional times to stay at their home and care for their dogs. So coming across Rover was a clear sign from the universe that this is something I’m meant to do! Some little things about me; I love traveling, I love the outdoors, always hiking, and I have that down to earth hippie vibe for sure! I work from home so I can be flexible! My schedule is usually pretty open other than the times I am out of town which is every few months. I have two friendly dogs who love making new friends. We also have a doggy pool we use in the summertime and a nice yard to play in!

About: I’ve had two years experience working as a Veterinary Assistant. Caring for animals has grown my love for them. I would pet sit at a younger age for my neighbors. I currently pet sit for friends and family, and would like to extend that. I have also fostered animals while they recovered from surgeries or even just waited for their forever home. Growing up, my family had both a dog and a cat who we cared for well into their senior years—my dog even battled cancer, and we gave her all the love and comfort she needed in her final days. As an adult, I adopted a 15-year-old blind cat who lived happily with me for two years before passing. I’m currently a proud pet mom to a playful 2-year-old Cane Corso that we raised from just 5 weeks old, and a sweet, anxious cat who’s made amazing progress in our home. About: I’m currently a stay at home mom to my 3 year old and infant. Growing up we had a tank of 10+ fish, 7 chickens, and 4 dogs. Now as an adult I’ve had 4 cats, 2 dog, and a ferret (Eros🌈, Alala🌈, Bean, Freya, Sif, Rosie and Trixie). They’re all my babies, and I treat them as if they were my actual children. My female cat Bean was a stray I took in when I was pregnant, she ended up having a uterine infection and had to have a kitty hysterectomy. I watched her and cared for her 24/7 till she healed up, giving her medicine, checking her incision, etc. I also had to do the same when my boy cats were fixed(their fixings were a tad easier to care for). I’m currently a stay at home mom, so I’m with my pets 24/7 and my kids. My fiancé is home by 6pm, rest of the day it’s just us. I like to make sure animals that aren’t mine are comfortable with me and I like to slowly introduce myself to not scare them if they seem uncomfortable/scared. I try to play with them often and even have them do tricks if they know them and even if they don’t just for mental stimulation.

About: I’ve worked with dogs my entire life. I know their body language like second-nature and can prevent a fight before it starts. I’ve handled dogs of all ages- dogs that are older than I am, puppies that can’t open their eyes, and everything in-between. Every dog is different, and I’ll take the time to care for them in the way they need and deserve. I’m available to take care of your companions every week Monday - Saturday from 11am to 10:30pm. Send me a message if you have any questions! Just tell me your day-to-day care routine for your pets and I’ll follow it to a tee! Routine keeps the dogs comfortable and more willing to work with me, even if they’re super excited I’m there and don’t want to go potty. I’ll play with your dogs for around 30 minutes to an hour, depending on their size, age, and desire to work.

About: I am a Veterinary Technician who is currently waiting to take his national certification exam to work in the state of Tennessee. I have been working in doggy daycares and vet clinics for the last eight (8) years and have loved every minute of it. I recently moved to Tennessee from the Pacific Northwest and would like to continue to care for pets even though I’m not in a clinic yet. Even when I return to clinics I still plan to keep doing walks and home visits if for no better reason than to get out of my house everyday. I am currently unemployed and looking to start making money again and the best way to do so is on my own terms. I am free every day except for Sundays to do walks, house visits, or even house sit if needed. In my clients homes I make sure to follow all instructions given for pet care. I have a great deal of experience working with pets that need medications and special care after working in an Emergency Clinic, and I do my best to clean up and leave the home in the same state I received it.
