About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, particularly giant breeds. I love all dogs and want to give them the best chance possible to be healthy and happy! My home has been a foster for many dogs at different times. Taking in dogs in need of medical care, puppies, female dogs going through heat before spay procedures, neglect cases and senior dogs. I’ve seen it all and will do whatever to provide a safe and comfortable place for you pet to relax and adjust. I am home full time with outings that are no more than 2-4 hours for drop in visit. We spend plenty of time snuggling and pulling out any and all of the toys. I have a fenced yard and a permanent crew that enjoy friends to play and nap with. Another bedroom is just for the dogs so if your dog is not crate trained they have their own bedrooms protected solo space for feeding or if for any reason I need to leave the home.

About: I grew up with pets my entire life and have experience with dogs of all ages! We got our dog, Piper as a puppy more than three years ago and has been the most spoiled dog since. Piper is also very good with all dogs and would love to have someone to play with! We have a fenced in yard and LOTS of toys! I have a very flexible schedule! I work from home so I am home all day unless I leave for a short time to go run a couple errands. Our dog gets walked and let outside several times a day. Contestant supervision - I always check on the dogs if they are out of site for a period of time. I will provide meals twice a day, unless asked differently. Dogs are allowed on couches and beds for ultimate comfort, and full roam of outdoor fence and indoor space.

About: My adoration of all kinds of animals and my attention to detail make me a wonderful choice to care for your fur babies. I have five animals that I help take care of, and experience with dogs of varied temperaments. I also have experience in administering medications orally. My schedule is flexible, with availability on most weekends during the summer, so I’m available for all of your vacation needs. As a graduated senior heading off to college in the fall, my availability is very flexible throughout this summer. I am also available to schedule last-minute bookings. I am well-versed in feeding, watering, crating, and walking animals. Plenty of time will be dedicated to playtime, snuggles, and lots of love! I will ensure all instructions given are followed to a tee, to give your pet the best care possible.

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born. My parents share the same love for animals as I do, and I think I love them more honestly! I’ve dealt with losing a pet, and adding new additions to the family. In my eyes no breed of dog or cat is superior and I would love to meet all the pets I can!! I work part-time so I will put the days I am available into the schedule! On my days off I would be more than happy to take your dogs for walks or do drop in visits with dogs and cats! I also marked all days as available because my hours can be funky and I can sometimes work only 4 hour shifts. I take my dogs for walks frequently. They are a bit stubborn sometimes (especially my olde english) but after we get walking they love being outside! The summer heat gets to them both though, so I would love to get outside!

About: Hi! I’d greatly appreciate the honor of welcoming your best friend into my home, or caring for them at yours! You will receive frequent updates as much as you like. I've been a dog dad for over 30 years and know how important your fur baby is to you. I have experience with all different breeds, ages and levels of health. My promise is to focus on your dog's happiness and comfort level during their entire stay; further, I will follow all nutrition/medication needs, potty/feeding/play time/walking schedules, and will truly ensure they're loved and cared for just like they were my own. I work full-time from home, same employer for over 20 years. I am available all seven days/nights for whatever attention your dog needs or wants, and any potty schedule your dog is accustomed to. I require little to 0 notice for bookings or cancellations, and able to travel as far as needed (within reason). My house is on a quiet culdesac with no through traffic. The back yard is secure and completely fenced, very enjoyable space for your dog to play in. Dogs are welcomed on all furniture. Home is smoke-free. I can also travel to the client's home for all necessary dog sitting/walking services.

About: A happy pet is a happy house! They are the mainstay of our homes and caring for them gives me so much joy! I care for multiple dogs and cats as my friends and family need! I have a lot of experience with feeding, walking, playing, bathing etc.I have been in pet care for over 20 years and taken care of many pets with a variety of needs. I understand pets have their own unique personalities and need different care/attention to make them be there best! I would love to be able to care for your pet and I will gladly help give them what they need to be happy and healthy while you’re away I work full time at a tennis facility but my hours make sure that pups get morning and afternoon walks just fine! (Plus tennis balls!) I am more than willing to care for and accommodate basic pet needs as well as more complicated ones. I prefer care be written down somewhere for later reference if needed. Water will always be full and available and anything that may cause harm to your pet (wires, small or sharp objects, etc) will be out of reach or inaccessible to your pet through height/doors/secured areas.

About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. We are able to walk your animals and provide check ins. I know how animals are part of the family.

About: I have experience with all ages and all sizes of dogs and cats. I grew up with cats and watched our neighbors dogs frequently when they were out of town. My grandparents had 2 Great Danes that I watched when they needed assistance and my fiancé has a heeler who I watch when he is at work. My favorite place is the dog park and enjoy taking my pup there whenever I can. I’m currently working part time as a nurse at Surgery Center Cedar Rapids. I am also a part time graduate school student so I am home studying when I’m not at work. Taking my dogs on walks and to the park is what I look forward to the most in my day and gives me a good excuse to take a break! I have a 2 year old blue heeler mix who loves other dogs and would love to meet yours! I live in a spacious home with a fenced in backyard and can easily crate your dog if needed. I live in a very walkable area with a couple of parks near by.

About: I have had a dog almost all my life and they have always been a passion. This summer I got the opportunity to volunteer at a dog boarding facility and learned how to care for dogs from puppy to senior and aid in medications they might need. I also got to work with the trainer and can help teach basic commands to dogs. I work full time as a nursing assistant. I can’t have any more pets myself and I would take care of your pet as if it were my very own. I will take the pet for walks, depending on weather will determine the length as well as the pet. I would also be willing to wash the pet for the client and help out in any way I could with them.

About: We want to make sure your pet has all the love and attention and will be very safe while you are away. We have no other pets in our home and your pet will receive 100% of our attention. I work from home so I am available at all hours. We have a large backyard with lots of room to play and we also take a couple of walks a day if your pet enjoys that! I currently work from home. I will be available to take care of your pet at all times. We can discuss your pets needs and see what is perfect for them while they stay in our home. Your pet will be part of the family. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child. I’ve always owned 1-3 dogs at a time. My dogs have all lived long lives, one even living to age 17, one 16, 14, etc. I currently have 2 dogs, ove (Reeva) is 3 years old and one (Izzy) is 1-1/2 years old. I have a great deal of experience taking care of senior pets(medications, injections, diapers, etc). My one pup had submissive urination that we have worked through and she doesn’t have any issues to speak of anymore. I’m no stranger to unique issues or quirks that may arise when working with animals. My current pups and I have completed many structured training classes and Reeva earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate. We have also taken an agility course to help build her confidence. I have been a volunteer for the Iowa Service Dog Program for 3 years. She and I are also a Certified Therapy Dog Team through ATD. I am part of a dog training club. Through this club I have met owners with the same training goals and a group of us have been meeting(with our pets) in pet friendly stores, parks & pet friendly patios to hone our pets training. I do love cats and have had many in my lifetime. The only reason I do not have cat(s) in my home now is because my husband is very allergic. I believe pets are family members and I personally treat mine like my children. You can feel confident that I will treat yours the same. I can drop in several times a day or once a day. You tell me what your pets needs are and I will meet or exceed those needs. My drop-in’s provide care for your fur baby; letting them out to potty, get some love and attention, playtime, food, medication…. whatever you and your pets needs may be. Of course, I will also provide updates and photos! A little extra will get your furry loved one a nice long walk. I do offer limited In-home boarding - Full boarding or day boarding. I will board one dog (prefer crate trained) in my home at a time. (I have made an exception and boarded “siblings”.) I am better able to provide individualized one-on-one care for your fur baby if I keep the numbers low. When I’ve committed to boarding your dog I do my best to stay home with them as much as I possibly can. (Limiting my time away from home.) This way I can provide extra attention, playtime, walks, pets, belly rubs, snuggle time, training and any other personalized care they may need. I do prefer crate trained, mainly for feeding time since I have 2 pups too, but that is not necessarily a deal breaker. I do have a questionnaire that I require be filled out so I can know your pet as well as possible. This aids in my providing the best care I can! I will be happy to provide updates and photos as much or as little as you’d like during their stay with me. They will go home with a report card telling you all about their stay. There is an additional fee for last minute requests for boarding or day boarding. You never have to worry when they are with me! 🐾

About: Hi! I’ve lived with dogs and cats of all kinds pretty constantly since I was born, and am in a situation where I can’t have a pet of my own. I’m doing this for a bit of extra income, but also because I just love animals and want some play time while helping out a fellow animal lover! I work remotely full time and have a fairly flexible schedule when I’m not traveling. I am strict but loving with my furry friends, ensuring that they are well-behaved no matter the situation. I have a few friends and friends of friends whom I dog-sit for regularly - breeds vary from Shiba Inu and Dachshund to Great Dane and Oodles of many kinds and well as cats with varying personalities. I work 10-6 CST and occasional evenings and weekends. I travel a lot too, but try to keep this calendar updated. I’m more of a night owl and like hanging with pets on similar schedules. I maintain respect of my clients home and only do things they have explicitly said are allowed, like pets on furniture. If you’re asking for overnight visits, love to cook and would likely use your kitchen. I would only have a guest if you’re okay with it and after asking.
