“Katie took great care of my guinea pigs! Even when there was a small health problem, she handled it perfectly and I felt so much less nervous knowing she was taking care of them.”

“Brooke was the best for our two cats! I knew i didnt have to worry at all while we were out of town! She is such an animal lover and our kitties took to her right away. Thank you so much Brooke and I know we'll be booking with her again in the future!”

“We needed someone to let our senior dog out once a day while at work. Chante has been amazing. She is very reliable and kind to our dog. I can't thank her enough for helping us out.”

“Mariah has been a 5-Star caretaker for my cats. I was in a bad situation--my air conditioning was out during this heat wave. Mariah accepted my three cats in an emergency--with almost no advance notice. More than that, she let me extend their stay--twice--when the repair people had to extend their work. She sent me photos--which meant a lot to me--and kept me updated. I couldn't ask for better service than I got from Mariah.”

About: My dogs and I have been through AKC certified obedience training I'm experienced in walking multiple dogs at a time Can housesit and care for dogs with special needs Providing positive reinforcement and tasty bribes is my main method of gaining trust with a new dog friend. I'm open to meeting and discussing all forms of service ahead of time I have a flexible part time job that is generally from 9 - 4 Monday through Friday. These times are flexible so if you have a question about a particular day feel free to ask My 2 dogs and I walk almost everyday around our neighborhood just to get some adventure and smell some new fire hydrants. My house has a wood 6' privacy fence around the backyard and I have time to them out 5 or 6 times a day for bathroom breaks or to just run around an play. My dogs started being crate trained as a puppy but as they have grown older and more trusty we use them less and less. I use a lot of positive reinforcement and treat training to bond and build rapport. I feel comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes and would prefer to take care of new dogs in their home environment first. My dogs: I have a 6 year old 60lb female Portuguese water dog -- She's a big napper, cuddler and loves cats. My 3 year old, 30lb, male terrier mix is the feisty play pal that keeps everyone entertained.

About: The oldest cat I’ve owned lived to be 17 years old. He had issues with his thyroid and needed daily prescription medication which I gave him successfully at home. I’ve also cared for 3 kittens who needed to be fed milk from a bottle and litter box trained. I have experience caring for kittens to senior cats. I work from home so my schedule is pretty free to stop in and meet the needs of your cat. Providing fresh water, food, and thorough litter box cleaning are just the basics. I’m also readily available to provide gentle playtimes with your cat and to give loving pats, if they desire. My cats are provided with fresh water every morning and their water bowls are cleaned every week. My cats are fed a high quality homemade food when they ask/demand it. The litter box is checked twice a day and any waste is removed immediately. The area around the litter box is kept neat and tidy daily. A variety of safe, cat friendly toys are provided as well as a scratch pad. My current cat was adopted last year at 2 years old. She loves being outside and is an indoor/outdoor cat. The cats I have watched for friends, in their homes, were checked on regularly and all of their needs were met. I spent extra time with the cats, including the shy ones, just talking to them but not forcing my company on them.

“Sydney watched our dogs over Christmas! She does an awesome job and always makes me feel less guilty for leaving my babies! I would recommend her to anyone who needs dog sitters!”

About: I’ve spent five years in the world of animal welfare. From daycare to rescue, learning about canine behavior. Handling dogs that may have abnormal needs is not something I shy away from! I have a passion for making sure every dog in the world is shown the love and affection they deserve. I’m a mail carrier (ironic I know) so my schedule varies each week. I am on call most of the time but can usually work a full day and still have availability in the afternoon. I am happy to follow any routine your dog may need as well as provide any extra care I can during the time you are away. Every dog is different and thus I am adaptable to whatever you and your dog may need!

About: I’ve taken care of pets on military bases for about 4-6 years watching animals and taking them out while people are on vacation or have been sent out of state somewhere. I’m fairly flexible. I work in the morning from 7am- 330pm So I’m good at spending time with them during my breaks and after work. I only work a few days a week so I am also good for night schedules. I try to keep my focus to the animal itself only touching things that relate to the pet and their environment. I am very respectful in a clients home, I’m good at cleaning up any messes quick and efficiently and don’t really get grossed out easily. I am good at following directions and keeping boundaries.

“Excellent! Amanda came every afternoon as requested. Fed, water and stayed awhile to give attention to the cats. They loved her, even the shy ones! She also, checked for packages for me and went above and beyond and fixed my door wreath. I will be requesting Amanda and Levi each time I need Rover services.”

“Danielle is very responsible and followed my routine that I use for my two cats. I loved seeing the photos of them. It made my time away from them a little less stressful. I would recommend her and I also plan on using her in the future.”

“Austin did a perfect job. He left me thorough notes and pictures daily. It really put my mind at ease while away. I've never used someone through Rover or any other company while away but I will definitely ask Austin to do it again next time!”

About: I have taken care of my own pets and friends, and neighbors for the past years since i was at least 13. I love animals and every kind! This is basically my job right now as a stay at home momma so i’m always here or always available to your pet for whatever they need! I have a front yard that is not fenced. I have 2 doggos and a one year old, we are a very pet friendly home :) My dogs are good with other dogs as well and my daughter loves dogs!! Me and my husband have a pretty good schedule so someone is usually always here with our pets.

About: I have around 5 years of experience working in animals shelters and veterinary clinics. I have loved all animals since I can remember. For the last two years I worked at a veterinary clinic where I was clinic assistant and the primary boarding assistant. My love for animals has never stopped and while I’m in Springfield attending Missouri State I am missing my own two dogs greatly. Your pets would be treated as if they were my own! I am currently a full-time student at Missouri State and have classes from 9:30-1:30 every day. I have some breaks in between depending on the day! My two dogs Angie and Finnley are my entire world. I can assure you that your pets would be treated with patience, love and kindness!

Skyler C.
“Skyler took the best care of my cat, Mira, while my husband and I went on our honeymoon. Being gone a week, we needed someone we could trust to take care of our fur baby and our home. Skyler is the most trustworthy and loving person! I highly recommend her for taking care of your fur babies. She will take the time to make sure they are fed, have fresh and clean water, a clean litter box, and well loved on. When we got home, Mira seemed to be happy as could be, and well taken care of. I have the most appreciation for Skyler and the love she showed our sweet cat.”
