Growing up, I would spend a lot of time with her (she is like an older sister) and when we would drive around places, she would always carry a big bag of dog food and water in her trunk and would stop every time she would see a stray dog. She would occasionally take then home whenever she had the chance to and help find them a good home. Animals have always loved Nancy. I've witnessed the shyest dogs end up being cuddled up in Nancy's arms. They always feel safe and trusting towards her.
