“My dog spent two nights at Mel’s house and it went great! Mel texted me a video update which was reassuring. She was open with communication and easy to work with. Next time I need a place for my dog I will book with Mel!”

“We went out of town to visit family for Christmas. The concerned feeling I normally get each time I think about my dog at home without us is immediately replaced with a nod and smile as I remember ‘she’s with Sandra and Bruce, she probably won’t want to come home, she loves it there so much’. We get complete peace of mind when Gracie is with Sandra.”

“Brittany cared for our pup Millie for several nights. We got daily updates and pictures which was greatly appreciated. Millie seemed happy and relaxed when we picked her up. I would definitely rebook with Brittany!”

“Louie had a great time at Veronica's house. I could tell by the photos that Louie felt at home there. And loved playing with the other dogs. Veronica even arranged for a bath and grooming. He looks great. Thank!”

“Laurel was kind and loving to my Dobbie. This afforded me the privilege to spend time with my family where 4 legged family can’t go. She sent me photos and videos that touched my heart and let me know he was being well cared for. Thank you Laurel and Rover for making this a very positive experience. I would not hesitate to leave him in your care again.”

“Wonderful! She took great care of my 3 cats and sent pictures showing how they were doing throughout the day. The cats were so relaxed and enjoyed their stay. I will definitely book with them again”

“This was our first time booking with Carola and we had a great experience. Our little Dukey boy loved his stay and hanging out with her pups, Killer and Prince. Duke almost didn't want to come home! 😂 I didn't have phone connection during my time away and she still sent daily updates with pictures, even though I didn't respond. Highly recommend Carola for your pet's boarding needs!”

“She’s great! Quick response time, friendly, sends updates on how pet is doing with the new environment, as well as cute/silly things your pet does. She really cares about your pet, and understand that being away is not only not hard on the pet but also the owner.”

About: Reliable and caring pet sitter with experience feeding, walking, playing, and providing loving attention to your fur baby while ensuring their safety, comfort and happiness. Available Friday through Sunday with flexible availability during the rest of the week. Happy to accommodate different schedules whenever possible to meet your pet care needs. I live in a quiet, spacious apartment with a dog park and lots of room for walks around the property. I lost my own dog about a year ago, so pet sitting has been such a sweet way for me to still get all the puppy love.
“Alex and her husband were wonderful to our pup Oakley. They both were so easy going and friendly which really made me feel at ease at drop off. Alex sent pictures throughout our trip and when I picked him up, I could tell he had the best time. I definitely recommend them!”

“Ashley is great! She’s very good at communicating while she’s in the care of our fur baby! I genuinely feel that Bailey was happy and felt at home. I will definitely book with her in the future! Thank you Ashley!”

“Patty is great to work with - I had a couple of unexpected changes to the booking and she was terrific about accomodating them. She also has good "cat sense" and reads cat behavior well. My kitty seemed to have a great time on her little vacation and the pictures Patty sent of her were charming. I will definitely book another visit when needed.”

“Our two-day dog boarding with Keota was absolutely wonderful! Our dog settled in quickly and happily interacted with the hosts and their other pets. A huge thank you to Keota and her family for taking such great care of our dog while we were able to explore Sequoia Park. Keota was very attentive, regularly keeping us posted and sharing pictures and video of our dog. We definitely recommend them—an excellent place to leave your beloved four-legged pet!”

About: I have taken care of pets, cats and dogs, from a young age. I grew up a cat and dog owner and have always loved my pets. I have experience training young dogs for sit, stay, fetch, lay down, roll over, wait, and go. I also regularly pet sit for family members. I am currently not working due to summer break, so I have full open availability. When school starts in August, I will be available evening after 5 and all day weekends. I am hoping to find pet sitting for weekends and dog walks for week days. I currently have a 3 bedroom apartment that is pet friendly. I can take care of small dogs/ cats at my own home and able to take them for walks around my neighborhood. I am willing and comfortable to pet sit in the client’s home and to go to the client’s home to take pups for walks.
“Tania and her family are wonderful! They took such great care of my dogs and Tania was very responsive and communicative. I loved the updates I got every day and my dogs were super happy. I will absolutely book with Tania again!!”
“Fantastic pup care! Needed a last minute solution close to home, and Ms. Cassidy came through like a champ! Even had an emergency to attend to that she was able to accommodate with no issues. Our sweet boy had plenty of socializing and play time with the other pups, and got outstanding care during his stay. We would highly recommend this puppy sitter!”

About: I have been a dog mom most of my life. More recently I’ve worked with a rescue and have experience fostering dogs . All 3 of my dogs are rescues and they are all very different so I’ve learned that they all their own individualized plan I currently work full time so I am available most weekends for boarding. Sometimes I’m off over the summer so my availability opens up then I have a really big fenced yard and a cozy pet friendly home. I have 3 small dogs who I love very much. My heeler mix is a bit fear aggressive towards new people and large dogs but he is obedient and I am working on socializing him more and I know exactly to manage. I’ve fostered a variety of dogs the last year and he just needs time to warm up to new dogs and people. My other 2 are terrier mixes and have been socialized since they were pups.
“Absolutely Fantastic. Amanda takes excellent care of your pooch and ensures they are well cared for, walked and played with. I highly recommend her for your boarding needs.”

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
