“Joyelle was amazing! She was a pleasure to meet and we felt completely comfortable having her stay in our home and care for our puppy. She sent tons of pictures and kept us updated each day. I’m quite sure she left our home cleaner than we left it! Highly recommend using Joyelle!”

“Mia has been absolutely outstanding caring for our dog Roo. Right before our trip, Roo had a dental procedure that required medication, plus a change of medication while we were gone and Mia was a rockstar. As a dog mom, I worry a lot when we are away and Mia made it very comforting.”

“Cari is absolutely amazing! She is warm and conscientious and took the time to get to know our cat and dog with their various quirks! Great communicator. I did not worry about the pets for the entire trip! Not only was she great with the animals, she took care of the house and even folded laundry/sheets we left in the dryer.”

“Tanya was great! Penny, my golden doodle adored her. We got frequent updates and updates and pictures of Penny. My house was spotless when I got home. We will definitely ask Tanya to watch our Penny again!! Thank you Tanya!❤️”

“Haley was absolutely wonderful! She didn't hesitate to ask questions if she had any. She sent me photos of our pup while we were away. We definitely recommend her if you're in need of someone to watch after your fur babies.”

“Scott was just awesome. The dogs were very receptive to him. He sent numerous pictures. I will recommend him to anyone and everyone. My wife and I don't go on vacation very much because of our furry friends, but we may start to go more often now.”

“Sharon did an amazing job! She spoiled and showered our high-energy fur baby with love while we were away. She was communicative and shared pictures of our pup smiling in all of her favorite activities. We know our dog was well cared for and had a great time!”

“Bailey was a great sitter for our pets and home. She kept us up to date on how they were doing with fun pictures - and went above and beyond the care we asked for with longer walks and play time.”

“Jenny put up with our ridiculous Frenchies and even collected eggs from the chickens each day. The house was in the shape we left it and she communicated each day with updates. Would recommend!”

“Alec was great! He kept us updated, brought in mail, and cleaned while we were gone. Buddha was very sweet and calm and got along well with our two dogs. Would definitely recommend having Alec and Buddha to anyone and would book again in the future to take care of our fur babies.”

About: I lost my dog Daisy of almost 11 years and would love to help with your dog while you are away! Whatever your dog needs just let me know. I am retired and work a seasonal part time job and have spare time to help with dog sitting I love dogs and would be happy to help you out! I will come to your house as needed and gladly walk, feed and play with your dog while you’re unavailable . If that is for one day or several days.. I am available to house/pet sit for longer periods of time .
About: Have a family of 3 dogs and 2 cats and my family and I love our messy and hyper fur kids, no matter the situation we do research to avoid getting our fur kids sick and keep them feeling loved and relaxed :) I graduated from college this past summer and am working part time jobs so I have time to take care of friendly pets of any kinds and more than happy to house sit as well for any vacations! We have a fenced yard and we have a crate to put them in when they are doing naughty behaviors like digging through the trash or grabbing things (like food on the table) when they aren’t supposed to. I take them on walks and give them toys to play with as they love tug of war and enrichment toys to keep them busy while we are otherwise we cuddle and watch tv on the couch in my free time.
About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!
“Jessie took GREAT care of our two energetic pups while we were away. We knew they were safe and loved. She also left our home neat and organized: a total pleasure to return to when we got back. Her communication is excellent! Thank you, Jessie!”

About: I’ve taken care of and walked many different friends dogs for almost 10 years while owning many cats for almost 15 years. I love caring for animals of all ages and sizes I currently work a flexible part time and this means I have ample time to care for your pets, or as you may consider them your family I love pets and want to treat them with love and kindness, I have cared for many animals always doing my best to be mindful and punctual as well as patient
About: I have trained my own dogs to do tricks and go potty outside. I have also accidentally trained one dog to follow non verbal commands to come, back up, move out of the way. I am currently not working and have time to stay at the home and come back for potty breaks if that’s needed and to play with the dogs and get them out and about. I take the dogs out and walk them. We play and swim (they use life jackets). Pick up the potty right after they go. And with my cat I scoop her litter box daily and do a hot water and soap bath wash weekly. She cuddles and plays with me when she wants to. For all animals fresh water and food everyday and clean bowls everyday.
About: I love dogs and have a fenced in yard for them to play. 🐾 I am knowledgeable about dog behavior and recognize signs of illness or distress. I have experience with potty training, medication administration, and reinforcing basic training commands. I work day shift while my husband, Chad, works evening shift. One of us are home most of the time - there might be a few hours in the afternoon/evening when we both work. We crate our pups when they’re home alone and have a dog camera to monitor them closely. I have a fenced in yard and lots of space inside my home for pups to make themselves comfortable. In my home, dogs are welcome on furniture and will receive lots of pets and playtime. I will maintain a safe, clean, and loving environment for our fur babies.
“We had a wonderful experience with Rebecca during our vacation. She took great care of Kane and gave us peace of mind while we were away. Kane was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable in her care. We would absolutely book with her again.”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Eureka Center walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Eureka Center maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Eureka Center choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eureka Center. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
