About: I’ve had over 17 years of cat experience. As my cats got older, I became very well versed in giving medications and sticking to a strict feeding schedule. I currently have a cat with mild IBS, so I’m not scared of frequently cleaning the litter box or dealing with “stomach issues” I’ve had cats through all stages of life, so I can adjust to whatever their needs are - whether it’s playing with toys or simply giving pets. My cat is a “one cat” kind of guy for now, so for the foreseeable future I’d only feel comfortable cat sitting in-house.

I was VERY nervous about leaving them at home with someone, the cats, did not know. They were safe. They were healthy. They were happy. I expected weight loss. I expected negative behaviors. I expected "unhappy" critters. NONE of that occurred. Haley kept us informed, as to how the cats were doing. She asked questions, to help her better, tend to them. About: I have a ton of experience taking care of people's pets, homes, plants and professionally cleaning. I'm responsible, clean, dependable, SUPER LOVING and great with animals. About: Since I was 6 years old my family had dogs and cats as pets. All the dogs we had we got as puppies so I handled the potty training, taught tricks and the main obedience training like sit and stay. I've watched family and friends dogs which also included days/nights at a time like when they were out of town working. I have watched and been with tiny dogs to giant dogs. I'm a stay at home mom at the moment so I have plenty of time to care for your pet pretty much at anytime day or night. I have a fenced yard so easy to let in and out as needed, big area take out or let out to play. My house is pretty open with area for them to roam or find good spot to just relax. I have never crated any of my animals but if needed or wanted obviously I could do that. If you have a special diet for your dog I would follow that for you also. My kids and I also love to go on walks and would love your dog to join. I do have three very young kids so your dog must get along with children. My kids love animals, they were very sad after losing our last dog so they'd be very excited to play with others. I am home daily with my kids, I only leave when I need to go to the store or take kids to an activity. So they won't be left alone for long if at all while in my care. I have a fenced in yard for a safe place to run and play while outside. My house is decent size so plenty of area and all open to them so they feel at home. About: I just recently had to put my 14.5 year old Yorkie Poo to rest. I miss having a buddy at my house but not ready to take on another animal full time yet. I supported my dog through pancreatitis, congestive heart failure and other health considerations. We had him since he was a couple months old until his golden years. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: My background and pet care experience: Hi, my name is Abby and I am 27 years old. I graduated from Clemson University in May of 2022 University with a BS in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. I am currently going back to school to get some pre-requisite courses I need to apply for my masters. I am only taking 7 credit hours so I will have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule when I’m not in classes. I have a passion for helping and taking care of animals. I have 3+ year of experience in animal care. Let me know if your pet has special need requirementsthat I need to know about. I have delt with that type of stuff before. I am available on the weekends and week days, all the time. I am very flexible when it comes to taking care of your pets.
