We are a mature, dedicated couple turning our lifelong passion for animals into a full- time retirement journey. My (Jennifer) background includes years of working with a wildlife rescue and operating professional mobile petting zoos. Kelly has helped me with petting zoos since late 2023. We are both comfortable with different personalities, sizes, and species of animals. We currently volunteer at our local animal shelter, walking and socializing dogs of all temperaments. We are also studying and learning basic obedience training and practicing with the dogs at shelter as well. And Kelly has recently finished dog grooming school and is working as a groomer. With both of us focused on your pet, someone is almost always available for potty breaks, playtime, and companionship! We follow your house rules and medical instructions to the letter. However, we can bring caged animals to our house if that kind of care is needed. We have experience with indoor bunnies, guinea pigs, geckos, hedgehogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, and snakes, just to name a few examples of animals we could bring home with us. In your home, we would request a detailed outline of what you would need done and how you'd like us to do it. We respect people and their property, so we would only go into the common areas of your home, and any areas you've requested service in.

“Nikki was amazing! We used Nikki for 3 days and 2 overnights and we have 3 dogs, 3 Cats, and a rabbit. As I’m sure if you are reading this your animals your animals are your fur “babies”. Nikki made sure to give use updates and pictures throughout each day and not once did we have to ask about our fur babies because how well she updated us. She kept the same routines that we have with all our animals. She went above and beyond with changing cat litter, picking up dog poop and etc. when we got home the house was cleaner than how we left it for her. We could tell how happy our fur babies were with her and could tell they missed her when she was gone. Anyways it was truly a wonderful experience with Nikki”

About: I have been caring for animals since I was 7 years old and was studying for Veterinary school until I had a falling out with my parents in my third year of college. I am working to get my degree and saving up for tuition to finish my studies so that I can pay back to my community what it has provided me with during the last 15 years. About: With over a decade of experience in animal husbandry, I care for pets of all ages and species. I’ve provided reliable pet sitting through college and now as a biology professor, handling everything from daily routines to medications and special needs. My goal is to keep your pets comfortable, happy, and cared for just as if you were home. Flexible for mornings, nights, and extended stays. I teach from morning to midday on weekdays. I usually wake up early to spend time with client’s pets or my own and have plenty of time to work in enrichment time and meals in the evening. It’s very important to me to provide a sense of normalcy to your pet. I may start out as a stranger but your pet and I will soon become best buds. I keep a strict schedule for check ins and they very quickly pick up that I’m keeping with the program and this eliminates a lot of their stress. I prefer to stay in your home and stick to your walk schedule (unless you’d like a field trip to a walking trail) so that the only change they have to deal with is missing you!

About: I have tons of experience caring for dogs and cats of all types temperaments and ages. I worked as a dog walker/ sitter in Atlanta GA, Brooklyn NY and Burlington VT and was a “pack leader” at a large doggy boarding/ daycare for 4 years before moving back down South in 2020. Keeping pets safe is second nature to me, as I’ve basically seen it all! I’ve cared for hundreds of dogs and cats and cherish my experiences with pets and their owners. I have a very flexible schedule with the ability to work from home, so could accommodate anxious pets, the very young and the very old! About: I’ve been pet/house sitting for the last couple of years. The most animals I’ve worked with at one time is 4. I’m great with a schedule if your pet needs it. I love all pets and I can’t wait to get to know yours! I’m available most of the time I’m not working right now so the only time I won’t be free are for personal matters. I am looking for new work so this may change. I have worked with both larger and smaller dogs. If they are still working in training I can continue to work with them on what they know. I have helped train in the past but I haven’t done any primary training myself.
