About: I am an experienced pet sitter looking for new clients! I joined Rover very recently (January 2025) as I am looking to expand my pet sitting business. I currently work as the Rescue Coordinator for a two clinic veterinary and equine practice. I have been involved in dog and cat rescue for the past 19 years. I say "had" because our yorkie/chihuaha has just recently passed away at the beginning of October. I miss him dearly. I love animals and I am more than willing to help care for your pets! About: I have had dogs all my life & have taken care of friends & family’s pets. I tend to adopt “problem” dogs that other people can’t handle. I love a challenge & gaining the trust of the dog. I used to frequent the Dominican Republic to feed & give flea baths to the neglected street dogs out there. I’m currently working from home & was a bartender for the last 20 yrs but now looking for a new career with animals because they are my true passion. I just moved to the Gardner, Illinois for a bigger yard & a 6ft privacy fence to expand my dog sitting business. I also have a small pool for the dogs. About: I’ve had my own dog for 6 years. I had family dogs for most of my life. I’ve also helped take care of many family members and friends pets over the years. I also volunteers with a rescue so I have experience with puppies. I’m a teacher so I will be home full time during the summer for pet sitting. I am also off work every weekend and most holidays. I have a fenced in yard and a dog of my own. I also have 2 cats. My own dog is crate trained so I do have experience. All pets are allowed on the furniture and treated as members of the family.

I understand how important proper care is to your special pup! I care for my puppy by feeding him 3 meals a day, several potty breaks, and proper crate training. About: Hello, My name is Karley and I would be pleased to help you care for your dog(s). I have grown up my entire life with dogs around (usually about three at a time), and my passion and love for dogs has no end. I currently have a male pitbull mix and a female corgi/rat terrier mix at home. (We're actually not quite sure what she is because she was a surrender to us). We adopted our boy from a local shelter July of 2019, and he has been the greatest light in our lives. I once heard "they never stop showing you how grateful they are for being adopted" and I couldn't agree more. Dogs really are human's best friend. I look forward to working with you and your pets. I currently work from home and have the ability to do drop ins or short walks during my lunch hour, or can do all-day stays during the day as long as I have a WiFi connection. I also am available for early morning walks or feedings/take outs. I work 8-5p.m. WFH schedule, and M-W I work a part-time gig at a store in the evenings from 6 p.m. to 11p.m. I am able to fit quick visits in anywhere, and schedule walks on my breaks or in-between time. I am not available on the weekends currently, but may open up my availability in the future. I believe pets are a part of the family and should be treated as such: with care, dignity, love and respect. My own pets are treated like kings and queens and I would hope I would be able to care for another person's pet with the same level of love.

About: I have been around and raised animals of all kinds from the start of my life. I love animals! I currently have 4 dogs, a 20lb doxie mix, a pit mix, mountain curr, and great pyrenees. I am comfortable with all breeds and size of dogs. I also have a spoiled inside cat, and an 11 year old barn cat that is spoiled for being outside, but he hates being inside, so he stays where he is happy. Growing up my family raised Rottweilers that the parents were police dog trained, so I learned at a young age how to train dogs. Mostly during the week, but if you become a regular, I could fit in weekens too if needed. Just ask me. As of now, I am only going to do dog walking and drop in for dog or cat. My yard isn't fenced so I won't have day care until I get things set up better. I will walk your dog with whatever collar or harness you have for them and I can bring my own leashes or use yours. I'll make sure to not have them on concrete or asphalt too much if it is hot so their paws don't get hurt.

I have grown up around/taken care of dogs my whole life, to include fostering and volunteering at shelters. While in the military, fellow sailors would ask me to care for their pups while on deployment. They relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets as necessary.
