About: I don’t just love animals, I have been around them since the day I was born. I have had cats, dogs, birds, and small rodents since I was born. I have taken care of these animals from a very young age and believe I have a natural understanding of pets and their behaviors! I currently work full time at a middle school in Albany where my hours are 8 AM to 3 PM. Otherwise, I am usually free and have more availability on weekends, during school breaks and over the summer. I currently am a cat mom and keep all of my cats indoors. When I owned dogs and other animals in the past, I make sure to tend to their unique needs whether that mean adhering to a medication regimen or putting them in their cage/crate as needed.

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and gained a lot of experience caring for my own family pets, then started pet sitting and working with horses as a teenager. After spending most of young adult life working with horses, I went back to college to get a degree that would allow me to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I worked in companion animal (dogs and cats) practice for a number of years before taking a "real" job that allowed me more time for my own pets. I've found I love my new job and schedule, but miss having as much animal interaction. I'd be delighted to provide care for your dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs (and other pocket pets) as well as horses and other large animals.
About: From cats and dogs, your furry loved ones will be taken care of. I’ve had animals all my life and spoiled each one. From going for long walks, hikes, car rides for the pups. For the feline crew, making sure they have the luxury life of toys, bird watching, and play time. I have had experience on giving medications to animals throughout my life. I’ll make sure your family members are spoiled while you are away I do work full time. My work schedule are set alternating days and are 12 hour shifts. On my days off are my availability or after work can work. My job can also require mandates after a 12 hr shift. Most of the time I’m available after work I won’t be able to bring your pets to my home. However, at yours, I will play with each one. Go for long walks and possibly a small hike if allowed. For the kitties, play time and pets… and of course treats if there is no diet restriction. I can stay in your home for a couple of hours to provide company for your furry family members and provide as much updates as well.
About: I’m a stay at home Dad and am home full-time with a flexible schedule. My pup loves to have other dogs around, but with a young child we aren’t ready to adopt more dogs yet. I grew up having two dogs and miss watching them interact with each other. Now that I have the availability, dog-sitting seems a logical compromise--especially since I have the ability to cater to the schedule your dog is already on. I know all too well how tough it can be having a routine oriented pet who gets thrown off by a few nights on someone else's schedule. I have experience walking dogs trained to heel, dogs who were never trained, and dogs who walk off-leash. I'm a runner, so I can keep up with a dog that needs a lot of activity, and I have no trouble with large, strong dogs who like to pull. With a kid, a dog, and two cats, I’m pretty much feeding or entertaining someone all day long. I can work with you to make sure your dog is cared for on the schedule that best suits them. I have a large yard, which isn’t fully fenced but makes it easy for frequent bathroom breaks in between longer walks. We have a finished basement as well with ample room for playtime during bad weather.
About: I've been a resource for friends, family, and others about what I do to take care of, train, and maintain my own pup(s) over the years. I've also filled in to help with pet/house sitting and have done some light training. Any interaction I have with your animal will be resepectful not only to your pups needs(even the one's you might not have thought of) but to the way YOU personally care for your animal as well. I am open to most ventures of the Rover world and transitioning to a part-time dog care roll in my life. I am available M-F and we can talk about how that works for all involved. I have a home and an unfenced ½ acre yard in a quiet village with one well behaved and trained Australian Shephard who gets along with most other animals. He thinks just about every new animal is his best friend he has to help watch over.
About: Hello! I have been pet/house sittings for friends and coworkers for several years. I am responsible, reliable, and give your pets all of my love! About: All Animals are my true passion. I am finally pursuing a job that truly makes me happy. I want to do what I love and call it work. I currently work 6am-4pm Tuesday -Friday. I am available after 4pm those days, and anytime Sat,Sun,Mon. I am looking to gain the trust of enough clientele to have pet care be my primary occupation. I have a well kept home with no children. I will pamper any pets like I do my own. I have 2 adopted cats. 2 yr old brother and sister. I have huge 2 acre property, in which your dog can explore. When visiting a clients home I will treat it with the utmost respect. I worked over 18 years in 5 star hotel and residential properties in Manhattan, frequently entrusted in taking care of high profile residents pets.
About: Positive reinforcement and teaching go a long way. Where pet love comes alive and the fun doesn’t never ends. Teaching essentials to a successful bond with your pet from the heart. I am currently a full time student with ample free time to care for your fur babies. As someone who work long hours myself I find it crucial that pets stick to a routine (feeding, training , walks etc). I have a beautiful friendly fur baby at home to keep your pets company. Extra crates, bowls etc if needed. I have a small yard without a fence. I take my dog for walks twice day. As well sometimes caring for my friends or neighbors pets.
“Megan is awesome! My dogs love her and she is very reliable. She shows up at the agreed-upon time and always sends messages and pictures. My neighbors have also said that my dogs look very happy walking with their new friend :)”
About: Hello, my name is Kaylee. I am new to rover but not new to pet sitting. I have been cat sitting for a family for 7 years and dog sitting/ house sitting for people for about 5 years. I have met some great people and pets along the way. I work until 4:30 most days and I am free on most weekends. I am available to check in on animals on weekends and weekdays after 4:30! I prefer to care for pets in the client's home but I would be open to caring for small pets in my home if needed.
“Lianna was wonderful! I knew my fur baby was being well taken care of. She knew I was anxious leaving my baby so she sent me multiple pictures of every outing so I could see how Tessie was? She was prompt, fed Tessie and made sure she took her medicine everyday for her chronic condition. I highly recommend Lianna if you are in need of pet sitter/walker. I have already booked her again for my next out of town trip when I cannot take my baby.”
“Kristina is the kindest human and my Colby loves her. She reinforces the tricks I’m teaching with him and also teaches him some new ones. She’s the best if your looking to have someone come and help your fur baby I recommend.”
