“Alex was amazing! Initially, I was a bit nervous about dropping off my 8 month old pup, Blue, just because I wasn't entirely sure how he would do in a new environment without me and other dogs present. Blue settled in super fast and had the best day! Alex was reassuring and sent updates throughout the day with pictures and videos that were so appreciated. Blue was in awesome hands and I'm so grateful he had fun with new friends, lots of space to run around, and an awesome caregiver in Alex and his family. Blue can't wait to return and I feel so grateful to have a trusted and safe home for my pup when we need to be apart. Thank you, Alex!”

“We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

About: My first rescue was a mixed breed puppy for our family. She died after 17 years of filling our hearts with joy. My second rescue was also a mixed breed puppy. She is very affectionate and energetic. I have watched dogs for my family and neighbors on multiple occasions. I have a huge yard with a pond for running and swimming and there is always lots of snuggles and love inside. I work remotely 4 out of 5 weekdays. On the day I go into the office, my husband has the flexibility to stop in several times to walk the dog around the back yard and hand out treats. Safety is the number one concern and I would always have your dog leashed outside. Inside they would have plenty of space for play and rest .

“I have brought my dog Digger to Kelly a few times now. She is so flexible with my crazy long hours and so accommodating. Digger loves going to see Kelly and has such a great time with her. I get pictures throughout the day of Digger and his adventures. He comes home so happy all the time. When I tell him he's going to Kelly's he goes right to the door and can't wait to spend the day with her.”

About: I have been lucky enough to spend time with dogs of a range of ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups who need a slower pace and a gentle touch. I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs, just let me know! I take time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious dogs, and I always move at their pace. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language, so I can respond quickly if something seem off. But most importantly, I make sure that they're safe and happy, while waiting for their favorite person to come back to them. Caring for the fluffy angels is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize in my daily life. My schedule is flexible and I can work from home, which means I can dedicate quality time to walks, play, feeding, and companionship without rushing. Whether I'm welcoming pets into my home or caring for them in their own space, I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in a quiet apartment surrounded by forest and green space, with very little car traffic in the neighborhood, which is perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor sniff time. At my place, I maintain a clean and cozy space with plenty of room for your doggie or kitty to lounge, play, or nap. In your home, I'll respect the privacy and cleaness of your space. I will follow your care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication schedules and favorite toys, because I know how important familiarity and consistency is to their happiness.

About: I have been around all sorts of animals since I was young, especially cats and dogs. I have since grown my experience into hedgehogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds and snakes. I have a wide variety of knowledge, and plan on expanding that throughout my life. I currently have a beautiful friendly nanny dog who has cancer and has had to take oral medication so I’ve gotten familiar with administering oral medication. I can care for puppies and elderly dogs that are deaf or blind. My open schedule makes me a perfect fit for animals that have separation anxiety as someone is always home. I’m open to taking other animals as well, birds, hamsters, snakes, hedgies as long as their enclosures and food were provided I’d be delighted to care for your little furry, scaled or spiked friend. I am a stay at home mom of three children (2 school aged), who love and respect animals as much as I do. I have a very open schedule to entertain and care for your pet as I do my own. My open schedule works well for animals with separation anxiety. I live in an old historical home, with a large clean yard for bathroom visits, we often take walks as a family and include of four legged member as long as she’s up for it. We do a morning and night feeding routine, lots of potty breaks and enrichment. We also have access to a local dog park, and little treats for our furry friends. I’d also like to address that I have small children, 5,4 and 2 who each love and care for animals. They have learned young to always respect animals however I’d never put your animal in a position that they were alone or unsupervised with the children for accident prevention.

Jess soon came to the top of step and my dog went over to say hi to her and went right in the house. She didn’t even look back to me. About: I’ve been a pet care taker for 10 years off and on. I’ve had pets all my life. I work from home so they’re never alone for long! I work from home so I am able to play with the animals frequently and let them go outside to potty. They love the all day attention! I have lots of treats to offer and I’m always buying new toys for them. We always have fresh water and feeding is morning and evening.

About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. I currently work at the local school just minutes from my home. I come home middle of the day. I am home during the summer and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is a big baby. Dogs are allowed to lay wherever they are comfortable but can also crate if they are used to that.

About: I love dogs they can tell. I have a boxer that enjoy running with and playing engaging games. I don't mind walking and running in winter weather. I enjoy working with dogs that want to get out and run but I'm also enjoying working with dogs who have gained some pounds and need a walk... who hasn't been there!? I think happy dogs are less destructive dogs and less distructive dog means happier owner. My hours and availability maybe changing relatively soon, but I am available every day before 8 and every day after 3 im available for overnight stays or weekend stays. About: I have loved and worked with animals for as long as I can remember. I have always had pets in my house until now and would love to be able to help someone out while also spending time with their best furry friend(s). I love walking and being outside just as much as I love animals so your pets will definitely get the exercise that they need while still being carefully cared for and loved of course. As far as experience goes, I have always had at least one dog and cat in my home for the full 22 Years I have been alive. I have volunteered and worked on farms and in other animal care facilities with various animals and pets. I have watched others pets in their homes as well as mine numerous times and am always looking for new opportunities to meet and get to know more pets. I am currently unemployed besides doing care for Rover so my schedule is pretty much open. I love animals and caring for them as well as making sure they're happy. I like to make sure the environment I'm in, is at the very least, comfortable for everyone. I am highly animal friendly and love all types of animals.
