About: Peppy Pet Care was launched at the end of 2018 in Ithaca, NY by myself and my animal-loving, entrepreneurial eleven year old daughter. Together we worked to provide outstanding pet sitting services to Ithaca and Lansing pet owners. About: I’ve pet sat for family members but I’ve also and still currently pet sit for previous teachers. I’ve done an internship at a vet clinic. I completed boces which made me a certified veterinary assistant. I worked at the SPCA while finishing up college. Volunteered at Tanglewood Nature Center. Depending on my work schedule I spend as much time as possible outside of work with your pets. I don’t leave them alone for long at all. I’m easy going, my dog gets crated when I’m not home. About: Your crazy dog stories could never top mine! Dog mom of over 15 years. Currently have a 3 yr old high energy dog. Comfortable caring for any animal of any age. I love all fur babies like my own! I am currently working full-time at night, 5 nights a week. Available mostly any day prior to 3:30pm. Overnights wouldn’t be possible, but could check on your pups before & after work! I am very well versed with all doggy situations. My current situation is not ideal for a dog to come to my home, but checking on yours in their “safe” environment works best!

“Heather was super sweet, understanding and very responsive! She understood my circumstances for needing my kitty Poptart watched and had no complaints with how last minute my request was. When there was an interference with the pickup time, she was completely understanding and didn’t charge extra. I even told her about Poptart’s disliking of other cats, and she kept her in a room separate from her own and even offered to introduce my cat to hers to get her more accustomed to being around other cats in the future. About: I've always had dogs & cats growing up. Recently, my husband & I rescued a puppy from North Carolina, named Mack. He is the light of our life. In July of 2025, we had to put our 14 year old dog, Roxie, down.. This was very depressing as she was the best girl. I love to be around dogs, and want to ensure they get the best care, whether that be walking or playing ball/fetch, or just snuggles. I hope you reach out for any needs! I currently work full time about 20 minutes from my home, which allows me a greater radius to care for your loved one. I work M-F 8am-4pm (roughly), so I am available for any after work or weekend assistance. I have a fully fenced in yard for my dog to play in. We play ball multiple times throughout the day. He is up to date on his vaccines, and we ensure that he receives any care he might need. I am trained to notice any significant behaviors or concerns, and will address this ASAP.

We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, I come from a big family of animal lovers, I have experience with feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, boarding, grooming and nail trimming. Im a fur baby momma to 3 handsome, well behaved, sweet boys who are my world. Im in vet assistant school. My biggest dream is to open up my own non kill animal rescue. I have such a big heart for all animals. I keep a bag of cat food in my car to feed all the stray kitties. Ive worked in doggy day care centers, and have fostering experience with the local animal shelter. Just know when youre away on vacation all your fur babies with be showered with love and affection and they will be treated as if they were my own. Im currently a stay at home momma, so your babies will have 24/7 love and attention, lots of play time, potty breaks, and walks. 🥰 I have 2 friendly cats, and a very calm, relaxed 1 year old dog who loves all other animals, and has done many temperament tests with other dog babies where I was working previously. I typically feed 2 times a day or per family request. I have given medications, and am trained in pet cpr/first aid for all cats and dogs. Im also a certified nursing assistant. So I have a lot of experience in the healthcare field as well. I have crates of all sizes if needed for your baby. I have experience with training and potty training as well.
About: Your crazy dog stories could never top mine! Dog mom of over 15 years. Currently have a 3 yr old high energy dog. Comfortable caring for any animal of any age. I love all fur babies like my own! I am currently working full-time at night, 5 nights a week. Available mostly any day prior to 3:30pm. Overnights wouldn’t be possible, but could check on your pups before & after work! I am very well versed with all doggy situations. My current situation is not ideal for a dog to come to my home, but checking on yours in their “safe” environment works best!

About: I’ve always had household dogs&cats as well as taken care of friends/family’s pets since I was about 13. From my brothers labs,huskies and beagles, to cousins large and protective Rottweilers, to good friends hyper anxious dog with a cancer diagnosis. As well as other friends super hyper border collie and chiuahua. The most pets I cared for at once was five dogs and two cats. I’ve also cared for three cats and a bearded dragon at the same time. I myself have two cats I train, play with love and care for Currently working as a direct support person and care aid, which provides me with a very flexible schedule. I used to work in cosmetic retail and I freelance in the realm of beauty doing makeup, hair and face painting. I have a very open schedule for pet care currently!
